Perfect location

On arrival I had asked if it was ok to check-in at 2:30,the member of staff repeatedly said not until 3pm. Despite being able to see my receipt at the top of the pile. Eventually he agreed. I've worked in the hotel industry and I know there's no problem checking in at that time if rooms are ready. Also why is Photo ID required?

Very polite staff bar lady was great, main man boss with glasses very polite humble. great breakfast. Expected to serve myself at a buffet but bonus of staff doing it like carvery style. although we was right in the centre tucked into a side road of all the fun, it’s very quiet great price for bank holiday. It served its purpose to be able to sleep ☺️

Decor and shower cubicle. needs updating and neatening in bedroom, tv small but i understand there wasn’t anywhere to but a larger one and still be able to view while in bed because of the room shape. Another guest has been smoking could smell. The issue was dealt with.

We've stayed here twice now, both in family rooms, 1st time we had our older neice and nephew.. we were on the 3rd floor. No issues at all, really happy, amazing room size. This time we had our 16month old son and were on the 1st floor, room was a great size. We brought our own travel cot and it fit amazingly with still lots of space left.

The room we stayed in last was on the 1st floor, the corridor outside room was loud due to creaky floorboards. Everytime someone walked down the corridor it woke my child, this happened quite a few times. Walls are also pretty thin so could hear neighbours playing music and talking .. again waking child up. We would still stay here again but perhaps ask for an end of corridor room.

Manager & staff were friendly & helpful from the moment we arrived. The room was spotlessly clean & the en suite facilities were excellent. The parking permit was efficiently provided and was necessary, given the popularity of the on street parking. The location was excellent, with all attractions within walking distance. The breakfast was very good, with a great range of items on offer.

Only one fault, in that the hotel bar was closed due to an ongoing electrical problem. However, this did not detract from the overall standard of the hotel

Great location, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Great value for money. The room was a good size and came equipped with tea and coffee making facilities along with a couple of bottles of water.

Building is needing a little TLC in places but was still clean and tidy. The bathroom was tidy but the bath and shower themselves were very tired and in much need of replacing/ upgrading.

The building was lovely and rooms clean. Location was great. The rooms had everything we needed. Loads of towels provided which were excellent quality. Staff were helpful and attentive to our needs. We felt the service was brilliant throughout the stay. We absolutely did get what we expected and 100% would stay again. Ladies serving breakfast were amazing too. Couldn't fault it.

The only thing I would say is that it would've been helpful to have a little booklet/laminated paper in the rooms themselves with details on such as WiFi info, details of how breakfast works in terms of payment and what time it's served as well as check out times etc. Only a suggestion though, not a negative at all!

The twin beds my son and I slept in were comfortable and firm. We liked the tea and water available in the room. The location was good for us and was only a short walk away from the seafront and pleasure beach, which was the main reason for our visit. The breakfast was well cooked and we enjoyed the buffet and orange juice.

The was no plug for the bath, but we were OK using the shower. Some of the seats in the dining room were worn down.

The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful, from arriving early, to leaving, the staff couldn't do enough for us, pointing us in the right direction and giving us good advice about parking, it was an excellent place to stay.

The only downfall to the hotel is they don't have a carpark, however there is plenty of street parking, but is shared by all hotels/guest houses In the street.

The room I was in was absolutely perfect couldn't fault it one bit, Everything in it as I'd expect and good that it's cleaned on a day to day basis and the bed was made up as well.

Only thing I could fault was it Advertiser's Restaurant and would've been nice if I'd have fancied a Breakfast to be able to go and have even if it ment paying for it as I only had room only,but the restaurant wasn't open anyway. Also says a bar which it did have but again it wasn't open so couldn't get a drink if I wanted to as well.

The right place for a short stay in Great Yarmouth. Would recommend. Very fairly priced and well located for travel and exploration of Norfolk. A small room but comfortable. Also quiet. Pleased overall. Would also recommend Greek restaurant in nearby Crown Road. A bus trip to Winterton on Sea would be a good idea.

This hotel suited my needs so no probs.
