Location is right next to the town centre 2 minute walk, rooms were spacious, clean and shower was the usual nice size you expect from the Holiday Inn. Breakfast was good with all the standard offerings, what was of note is that there was also offerings for people who had no time to sit down and eat. Staff were friendly and accommodating, but were not knowledgeable to our booking requests as we checked in, which was disappointing.

Biggest disappointment was the parking which was not available due to works. This was not notified through Booking.com and cost us an extra £20 since we had to use the carpark next door. If we had known we would have chosen another location.

ROOM 216 OMG the mattress was so hard it’s hurt my back, so I didn’t get any sleep, and ended up sleeping in the car on the way home.. when we have stayed there before the bed was lovely. Also the air conditioner was very loud and could not feel any air coming out, in the end I turned it off and opened the window. I think the bed is in the wrong place for the air conditioner it needs to be on the opposite wall In November we are staying at the Birmingham one close to the NEC I just hope that bed is better. The breakfast was lovely as always.

Absolutely everything!!! I can not give anything but great feedback. Everything from the excellent customer service I received when checking in to the cleanliness of the rooms and hotel. I would just like to say a massive thank you to the staff. The reception staff went out the way to be friendly,kind and quickly brought to my room a few extra things I needed also the CC cleaning staff on landing 2 was absolutely lovely. Was always friendly and kind no matter how busy she was.

Perfect stay Stayed the night before a flight from Stansted, so we just wanted a bed for the night. And okTalk about exceeding expectations! Once inside the hotel, it’s great. Everything’s really clean, bright and welcoming. The two reception staff were incredibly helpful, kind, efficient and friendly. Aspasia (I think thy was her name) went out of her way to help with another Holiday Inn booking, too. The room was excellent, well-appointed, fresh and clean. Had a quick drink in the bar which was also welcoming. Really set us up for our holiday. Highly recommended 👍 PS cheap parking too - £7 for 24hrs

Easy check in. Nice room, comfortable bed and pillows. Staff lovely, helpful and friendly. Had to park in the car park next door ( a very quick easy walk), which cost around £4.50. Breakfast was good. Definitely recommend

Sofa in our room was damaged and unsightly. Shower flooded in tray. A bit of a grotty walk from and to the car park. Breakfast was good, but bacon undercooked, and the coffee machine was poor.

the room was big, enough for 3 persons. the breakfast was typical English style, with a large variety of products like fruit juice, fruits, croissant and muffins. the staff was very attentive, and able to adapt even to some allergies challenges. I liked the location, closer to the shopping area. I enjoyed the hotel restaurant also.

i was missing some cheese at the breakfast. the rest was fine, we did not miss anything else. thank you very much.

Great comfy beds and decent size room space. Clean and modern bathroom. Lots of variety for breakfast. Just outside of London so a decent price for London. Included wifi without having to pay a fee which is great.

Shame about all the roadworks as our planned walk to the station took a lot longer and all the way round rather than a 7min walk. There were a lot of people at breakfast which should have been light traffic and there didn't seem to be enough staff to help clear the backlog of plates etc.

Big room, easy access to the hotel even with the roadworks, decent breakfast included. Room was quiet, bathroom was a good size with a big shower. The young ladies who were at the reception in the morning were extremely nice and helpful, unlike the gentleman from the night shift who didn’t know too much about the car park.

Car park was too small, so because I had to arrive around midnight, I was asked to park in the car park next door, which is close , except maybe when you are after many hours of travel.

After booking was made, we were informed that parking wasn't available due to ongoing building works. Luckily we were able to park at nearby family's house. Would not have wanted to pay at pay and display carparks. Bed was comfy, staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. Only small complaint was that fan for heater in room was noisy, but otherwise our stay was fine. Would stay here again.

The breakfast was OK but I cook at home to a good fresh and healthy standard so by comparison it was average and pretty good considering the room rate.

Obviously your reception staff were not aware that the desk in 306 was broken and that the desklamp was not working and that the phone in 306 had no connection wire. I would suggest that your facilities management structure needs updating
