Food available till 9pm which was good and reasonably priced. Beds were comfy. Secure FREE parking. The price we paid was VERY CHEAP but the standards were well above average. Quite near the Metro station to travel around (abt 1 mile) and buses within 300 yards.

Our fault we booked on a Friday night when they were doing a Charity Karoake which was noisy. As this is a yearly thing we were unlucky. The Saturday was quiet and we got a good nights sleep

the venue was clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a late lunch and the food was exceptional and v.well presented. The longship is a Green King pub that provides accommodation and has ample parking. There is a separate entrance to the rooms so you are not limited to a time that you have to be back for. Considering the rooms are above a busy pub we could not hear any noise from the pub.

The room was very very hot and we had difficulty sleeping. Considering it was one of the hottest weekends of the year we thought we might have been offered a fan as there was no aircon in the room and the window only opened about 2 inches and not more. I was up and down all night taking cool showers to cool down. Another down side to this venue is the fact that it does not offer breakfast and the only time you can get a meal is when the pub is actually open for business.

The room , location, staff very friendly and welcoming, and helpful. Pub fantastic prices were Great , good selection of beers and spirits. Food Very cheap and I really loved my fish and chips. Would really recommend this pub . Would stay here Again.

The friendly staff, lively bar, the Atmosphere, locals dressed up as St. George, (as it was St. George's day) Surprised that there was No Noise upstairs from the Bar, especially as the boxing (Tyson Fury match) on , very quiet upstairs except for the odd door banging btwn 10pm- midnight, If we're in there area again- we'll look you up

The Bed was a laugh to say the least, if you laid too close to the edge, you fall out of bed, and after a few drinks- it was hilarious 😂

Great hospitality, good deals on drinks in bar 2-4-1 on some drinks. I asked the staff member for more pillows as there was only 1 on each bed and she got us done without hesitation

The mattresses was a-bit harder then my liking however still comfy and very wide which was good

Good value for money stay and restaurant faaacility provided wholesome food at reasonable cost.

Would have liked breakfast to been available at the Longship but we did find a decent cafe a short distance away to provide this for us on our departure morning

Meals are good quailty and good sized portiond, rooms are pretty soundproofed from each other

Pity there's no breakfast, one member of staff seemed to have a problem with our group but the rest were fantastic

The pub is great beer prices are ok the food was excellent and great value the rooms are clean and the staff were great

Room need modernising but they are clean and well worth the price,place is a bit out of the way but its 20 quid into Newcastle in a cab which is nothing compared to what you have saved on the room and its only 15 minutes

Everything was fine staff looked after us no problems with anything just what we require for our 1nifht stay excellent services good clean room comftable well worth the value 28th October 2022 will use again and also would highly recommend to others thank you. Eddie.

Staff were excellent, very friendly. Prices were reasonable and Sat night live band were brilliant

Room could have done with a little more attention. The shower was very poor. Suspect a simple new hose & head fix. View outside window could be swept clean. Overall an adequate room for the price.
