When I checked in and unpacked I realised my room was really warm, when I checked the radiator was struck on full. I was swapped to another room quickly which was an upgrade, great customer service as i didn't even complain, it was just a nice touch by the receptionist who could probably see I'd had a long day.

Bar/Restaurant service, I waited at an empty bar for 5mins to buy a drink, staff kept saying they would be with me shortly but it was annoying. Then when I was seated for food I was given a menu but after 10mins nobody came to take my order so I went back to the bar. The process was unclear and staff never told me if it was table service or order at the bar?

Check in wasn't until 3pm but the Hotel was ready nearly 2hours earlier which was a blessing! The room was a little smaller than I imagined it would be but was still ample in size and totally made up for in quality. The room was well dressed and the furniture was all modern and immaculate. The bathroom was big, modern and nice and clean with a (self cleaning) jacuzzi bathtub and towel robes and disposable flip flops were provided! We were provided with a selection of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and little biscuits and there was a small fridge tucked away in the room which came in handy too! The bed was SUPER comfortable and the linen was spotless! Breakfast was in a spacious dining area (with access to an outside seating area) that was again - immaculate- and the selection was brilliant and beautifully cooked and presented. VERY PLEASED! Would definitely recommend and will book here again if I ever need a hotel in the area in the future!

The only thing I was disappointed with was that i believed breakfast was included in the price and it wasn't BUT it was only 10pp to purchase breakfast and it was VERY good for the money!

the restaurant food was lovely. the breakfast was fairly decent but not organised at all. there was a queue waiting for cooked breakfast food. There was no sausage black pudding tomatoes or mushrooms and whilst waiting for them to top up. ( at least 10 minutes stood waiting ) it was taking two members of staff to top up the Apple juice. not a brilliant use of resources when you have hungry guests waiting for food. there was no prioritising at all and nobody monitoring the self serve hot foods for replenishing the food for guests

there were hairs( pubic ) on the bathroom floor n the room looked like it hadn’t been hoovered. bits on the floor.

Disappointed with premium priced room no comfortable chairs no bath very small shower bedside light inoperative not value for money Worst of all hotel was booked for a wedding from just before midnight till 2 am we had children running up and down the corridors shouting and women yelling to each other people nocking on and slamming doors Although staff tried there best at breakfast the breakfast room had food spilt on the floor and general upheaval caused by un supervised children we felt generally sorry for the staff

The staff couldn't do enough for us. Loved the fact we could use all of the spa facilities too, we went swimming and used the jacuzzi, steam room and sauna was lovely to just relax :). There was an option to add breakfast to our booking to so we took advantage of that on Saturday. Will absolutely stay here again. Rooms very clean and tidy. Beds are extremely comfortable, fridge in the room too, with 2 bottles of water inside, that was a nice touch. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate available aswel. 10/10 for me :)

There isn't anything I didn't like.

Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of options. The room was clean and tastefully decorated We really enjoyed our food on both evenings and the portion sizes were just right

A wider selection of food on the evening menu would have been welcome especially if our stay had been longer. I would have preferred a wider selection of cocktails on the menu, bar staff said they could not make cocktails not shown on the menu as there was no buttons on the till for any different to those listed.

stayed for the 1 night with my partner. check in was quick and easy, the staff were very helpful. the room was lovely and clean, the bed was so comfortable. the spa was okay, next time I would try a beauty treatment. the breakfast was buffet type, lots of choice from full English to pastries, pancakes, fruits. overall a great stay, I will definitely recommend and I’ll be visiting again.

we didn’t get told before hand that you had to book time slots for the spa. we checked in at 3pm, called the spa number as instructed and they said they had no availability until 6:30pm. this was a bit of an inconvenience as we had dinner booked for 7pm. so ended up having a late dinner just so we could try out the spa. overall the spa wasn’t amazing, it is just a very small pool with a small hot tub and sauna and steam room. it was okay but not fantastic. it would be good if the hotel let you know when booking that you need to pre book spa slots and you can’t just walk into the spa. my only other complaint would be that the room we stayed in was very very hot. there was no way to turn off the heating in the room. the windows only open an inch so no fresh air either.

Nice clean friendly hotel. Evening meal OK at restaurant.

Breakfast is pretty bland. Looks like cost cutting. Little things like no individual yoghurts , just a large bowl for everyone to dip into, also no individual jams or marmalades instead a bland tasteless sauce from a large container. The fruit was also unpleasant. I would give breakfast a miss. Also the kids working behind the bar in the Orangery need a bit more direction, to stop them standing around looking at the floor.

Hotel was fantastic, room was a great size, the cleanliness and the room maintenance during my stay was 5*

My apologies but my massage was awful, im so pleased I only had to endure 30 minutes instead of an hour I had originally booked. The lady just repeated the two same techniques for the entire time, no neck massage just digging her elbows into my back for 30 minutes. Fantastic hotels but I wouldn’t waste your money on a massage during your stay

Room was a good size. Everything was clean and tidy. Bathroom also good size. Robes and slippers provided.

Mattress a little too firm for my liking but very comfortable overall. Breakfast food not hot enough for me. Scrambled eggs cold, bacon hard. Asked for fried eggs, had a very long wait for those. Hot water from the drinks machine wasn't hot enough for the tea. Whilst the quality of the food was very good, the temperature let it down. Decent selection of food on offer for breakfast. I especially liked the pancake maker. On morning of departure, discovered that the patio door had not been locked from inside. Was getting dark when we settled in, so we just closed the curtains, not thinking to check the doors. That was a shock!
