You get exactly what you pay for. Somewhere to stay on a budget. The rooms are small, but thats not a problem as we're only there to sleep. The owners are friendly and checking in was not a problem. It's only a 25 minute walk onto the quayside in Newcastle, so if you don't mind a short bit of exercise you don't need to spend money on taxis or the metro station round the corner
Nothing. I don't understand why there's so many bad ratings for this property, people obviously expecting too much. You pay for a budget room and thats what you get. Everything was clean and beds were comfy so I can't see what more people would expect for the price.

Look... this place does EXACTLY what it says on the tin... it's a BUDGET hostel... but, that said its facilities were great and thats why I gave it 5 stars! The only downside was one selfish idiot in the room left the window open all night which we could not close as we had to get into his bunkbed to do so. The winds that night moved the bunkbed and blew stuff in the room around and it was freezing... BUT... that shouldn't mean the hostel loses its rating! This place is also a 5 min walking distance to where I was visiting, so very useful useful and will definitely be back 100% Also the 2 lads running the place were great... thanks again guys... see you again soon!
There wasn't really anything I didn't like... but I did need some water in the middle of the night and couldn't find a tap! Maybe some water in the fridge would be great!

This hostel is set in the suburb of Newcastle in Biker but is easy to get to if travelling in by coach or train. The Metro will take you at a cost of £2.10 single fare the same applies with the bus. You can walk in to Newcastle which takes about 20-25 minuets. The dorm was clean comfortable and spacious. There is free tea and coffee and breakfast. The hostel is opposite the East end Library.

Great location. Clean and as expected. It’s cheap and you pay for what you get. Great little and simple room with comfy beds. Enough for putting your head down after a night out. Wetherspoons across the road too. Free parking
