It was quite difficult to find accommodation around Hornsea, we were so fortunate to have found Northorpe which is only a short distance away. Jo and her husband are exceptional hosts so warm and welcoming. Standards are high and the B&B is immaculate we loved the design of our room too with lots of extra touches. Breakfast was delicious and looking out at the chickens, ducks and Peter the Peacok was entertaining. Even our bicycles had their own private space! Thank you Jo for looking after us and our bicycles so well.

Loved our stay thank you. Everything was perfect, great location for Hornsea. Super clean and fresh rooms. Hosts were attentive and very friendly. Ducks, Guinea fowl and chickens in the garden were awesome along with loads of wild birds that visited. Highly recommended and we'd stay here again.

Other selfish guests! We had noisy idiots in another room who were having a massive argument early hours but that is absolutely not the owners fault and we felt that if we'd reported it they would have dealt with it. We only heard the row as our room was adjacent to theirs.

Fabulous host, thank you Joanne. Room 1 is dog friendly, Simply excellent, superbly clean, fantastic breakfast. Will deffinately go again. There is a walk you can do, weather dependent, (bridleway walk can flood) but expect to drive should you wish to get out and about. Room 1, at one side is adjacent to the main road, but this is very quiet at night, thus didn't give us any problems sleeping.

We didn't like having to leave 😭. Could have stayed longer.

This really is a fantastic place to stay, half the battle for me is finding parking off side roads, this is great has its got lots of parking on site and just outside the door,breakfast is the best have had in years and you can have whatever you like no probs, rooms area like brand new and so well laid out,nice tv,your own fridge for the odd bottle a plonk, only a short drive to end of road and 2 pubs,a real nice curry house too,beach and plenty of shops a mile away, will be booking for wifes birthday in a few weeks,and a great bonus is seeing the peacock just outside dining room window, and better still the free roaming chickens thats just laid your egg for the breakfast too.10 outa 10 from me.and a bargain price too. enjoy.

Greeted by the owner with a smile. Room was lovely and big. Spotlessly clean. Shower was big, good and clean. Fresh milk in the fridge along with coffee granules, tea bags and sugar. Bed was very comfortable and ample free parking. Coffee at breakfast was lovely and strong and the cooked breakfast was great.

I have breathing difficulties and the duvet and pillows had been massively over sprayed with Febreeze or something similar. It really affected me. Also when leaving the didn’t ask how my stay was.

We were made very welcome as was my little dog. The room was light & airy. The decor was lovely. Sitting having an excellent breakfast overlooking the large garden with all it's visitors was very enjoyable.

I can't say I disliked this but it's worth noting that the accommodation is located on the outskirts of Hornsea so it could end up being a bit of a trek to the shops/pubs/restaurants, etc.

Lovely welcome from housekeeper Barbara, fantastic room with mini fridge and a tea/coffee making facilities with kilner jar full of yummy biscuits. The hosts really have considered everything to make their guests comfortable and relaxed during their stay. Deffo would recommend to visiting friends/family and will be back when our caravan site is closed winter 2024 just so we can check on it. Thank you :)

Excellent room. Good location. Welcoming host. Tea and fresh milk plus chocolate biscuits in the room were v welcome. Plus booking included breakfast which I didn’t expect from the Booking.com info which stayed room only.

This is my preference - I usually have plain yoghurt with my muesli and was disappointed that there was only milk available. I stress that this is a personal quirk.

Everything was exceptional !!! The owners were the best of people !!!! They could have done nothing more to see that all their guests had everything anyone could possibly want. Our Breakfasts were 5 star hotel quality. We have stayed at the Savoy Hotel in London and the George V in Paris, Northorpe was better for quality, portions ........ Just better in every way. This is Yorkshire at its best!!!! Easy reach of the beaches, it's September so on the beach front you will find the Hornsea Hub which has the best indoor, heated swimming pool , gym, badminton hall, etc. This is our third visit to this beautiful village on the sea. We will always go back and stay now we have found Northorpe !!!!!

I had a wonderful stay at Northorpe B&B I was greeted by a chicken on my arrival at the door whilst I waited for Joanne. I was promptly shown to my room. Joanne was wonderful and very accommodating making sure I had milk in my fridge and that I knew when breakfast was and such. The room was lush and very comfortable. Has everything you need for a short stay. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be staying again. Easy access to the property with parking. Also easy to get to hornsea beach just down the road.
