The Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel is an amazing place to stay in Inverness. The hotel is located right on the River Ness, just a short walk from the city center and all of its attractions. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food at the Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel is also excellent. The hotel has a casual restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as a more formal dining room that offers a prix-fixe menu. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and the service is top-notch. One of the things I love most about the Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel is its location. The hotel is just a short walk from all of the best things to see and do in Inverness. You can easily walk to the castle, the museum, the shops, and the restaurants. The rooms at the Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel are also very comfortable. The beds are soft and cozy, and the rooms are well-appointed with everything you need for a relaxing stay. I especially love the fact that the rooms have Nespresso machines. The staff at the Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel is also very friendly and helpful. They are always happy to answer questions and make recommendations for things to do in the area. I especially appreciate the fact that they went out of their way to make my stay special. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. The food is excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Inverness. Here are some additional details about my stay: I stayed in a standard room with a river view. The room was spacious and well-appointed, with a comfortable bed, a large desk, and a sitting area. The view of the river was amazing. The breakfast at the Glenmoriston Townhouse Hotel was excellent. There was a wide variety of food to choose from, including fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, bacon, sausage, and pancakes.

The hotel was perfect!

We stayed in a two bed apartment with a lounge and kitchen which was a great facility as catching up with friends. The hotel bars and restaurant were lovely, dinner and breakfast was super and service friendly and efficient. The location is amazing, walking distance into the centre of town and fronting onto a quiet lane along the river.

As the apartment had been presented as a hotel room option, there could have been a better supply of basic necessities that you would expect in a hotel room. We had not expected to have to provide things like milk, toilet roll or bin bags. A small amount of tea and coffee portions where provided including 2 coffee pods for the machine in the kitchen for an apartment of 4! Many self-catering properties provide all these things as standard anyway and the description of the apartment had not stated we needed to provide our own. Only minor niggles but enough for us not to rate the facilities as a 10 which is a shame.

Location excellent. Room good, with a nice river view. Very pleasant bar area with a resident pianist.

After we were showed to our room, on going to the toilet I noticed that the toilet from the last occupant hadn't been flushed, which was very unpleasant. Can't understand how housekeeping would have missed this, especially as it smelled! I informed the lady on reception, who apologised but it would have been nice for a hotel of this calibre for a quite expensive room (over £300) to have offered us a complimentary drink at the bar or something.

The location was excellent and the breakfast was great as was the restaurant at night and the Bar had a good selection of drinks at a reasonable price The staff were also helpful

Advertising the room as a deluxe king was I think a bit of a stretch as the picture on the website for the deluxe king show a lovely bay windowed room overlooking the river. There are deluxe rooms like this but not the one we got (room 10)which had a smaller window looking out from the side which does have a river view and a large King size bed, however the size /shape of the room was not deluxe.Since we used to be in hospitality we just felt attention to detail was lacking

Great location, 5 mins walk along river to town centre. Breakfast was delicious. Staff very warm and friendly.

As a vegetarian for over 40 years, the glass-fronted full height fridge in the restaurant with big meaty bones on display (each labelled with "kill date" and "date put in") was, for me, a rather disgusting spectacle, and as it was positioned right beside the breakfast buffet table it was impossible to ignore. I would question is it really necessary to have this in the dining room?!

Perfect location to the city. Lots of fabulous restaurants within walking distance. Try Prime across the bridge, great food and friendly service.

Our room (DELUXE!) was above the Piano Bar and the noise from this was very loud on the Saturday night, to the point, we could here the specific songs being sung. Continued until 2350, which kept us up and caused a poor nights sleep. We had been having a meal and enjoying drinks in the Piano Bar, however when the gentleman started to play and sing we could no longer continue conversation over the noise of his playing. The room is too small and the ceiling too low to absorb the sound resulting in us having to shout to be heard and this meant us having to retire to our room.

The location was excellent for attending Eden court and the general area was very nice with a god vibe. The full Scottish breakfast was beautiful with good ingredients not cheap rubbish. The dinner a chateaubriand steak was cooked to perfection and very enjoyable.

I would have liked to see the doors of the rooms in the hallways upgraded to a heavy oak style door as the plane white fire door’s definitely removed that upmarket feel to the hallways creating a sense of unease before opening the room doors but thankfully being greeted by a very nice room. The cutlery in the restaurant could do with an upgrade as it looked a bit tired.

The hotel is 10 minutes walk from town centre but the area is very quiet. The staff are all great. Normally if staying 2 or more days i would eat out the second day but the food is some of the best i have ever had i would eat there ever night of a week long stay. And the breakfast was one of the best i have had at a hotel. The bar what can i say over 260 whisky's local beers on tap any cocktail you want the girls can make just wonderful....next time i come i'll book for the weekend when the piano player is there. My room was a king and huge and for £177 for 2 nights b+b the value is outstanding, If you need somewhere in Inverness or you are going to Eden Court (10 mins away) treat your self

loved the outdoor seating and watching the river and people out for walks. the room was very nice and comfortable. On site parking for car was a bonus. additionally the location to tourist attractions was fantastic.

staff at front desk were not very friendly, multiple times with different staff, we found them rude and put out with our questions about the restaurant or hotel questions. Also we asked about what to do, what to see, where live music might be found and they were not helpful and rude.

Excellent location on the river in the center of Inverness. Nice and well-appointed rooms. The lounge is fantastic, and the breakfast at the restaurant is pretty good.

As with many such hotels, the doors allow practically anything happening in the hallway to be clearly heard, which can be an issue sometimes during livelier nights. Rooms in the "second" building are probably less prone to noise, but then you have to cross a few yards of the parking lot to get to the restaurant and lounge. That was the only mild negative of the stay.
