Redcliffe Hotel is at an excellent location at the East side of Inverness. Short walk to the center of town and a quick down-hill walk to the river Ness (and the parks). Plenty of parking in the hotel lot. Wood fired pizza on the covered patio was excellent. It was drizzling and the heaters were adequate to keep the cold at bay. The room was in a separate building a few steps across the road from the main hotel. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Bottles of water were provided. There was plenty of complimentary tea and coffee. Bathroom facilities were spacious and plenty of hot water when needed. Very close to the Inverness Castle and views of the castle from the room. Excellent location.

Did not get a chance to eat at the hotel restaurant. Menu looked great and had a good selection of top notch offerings. The hotel had a bar, also not taken advantage of during this trip. There are plenty of choices all over Inverness.

The apartment we had was great, everything to hand that you could possibly need. However for ease we ate in the restaurant, the food was fantastic and our waiter was superb. We had such fun with him and we all felt really well looked after. The main bed was fab, but the additional pull out bed was rather soft, but nevertheless everyone slept sound.

Our breakfast waitress wasnt quite so welcoming, and made us feel as though we were a bit of a hindrance. The Eggs Benedict were perfect, however my husband was disappointed with his full breakfast which was rather sparce in comparison with very little on the plate, so had to bulk out by going back to the continental buffet and more toast. Had the waitress enquired how things were we could have said but so, she clearly had no time for us as she was busy checking folk out at the same time.

Instead of a hotel room, we got a spacious suite (one bedroom apartment) with full kitchen. Staff was very friendly. Dinner was good and the breakfast was the best during our trip (we stayed in 4 hotels). In addition to buffet, the hotel actually cooked us breakfast and we could choose a couple of different things to order. The hotel is 5 mins away from the "city center". It is a quite area and there is a huge monkey puzzle tree by the hotel. Two large water bottles were put in the huge fridge. Full kitchen. Heaters were fast heating and we actually turned them off for the night.

Perhaps a sink could be slightly wider and extra light for shaving would be good. An extra towel would be helpful. Otherwise, there is no complaints.

We loved the property and the location. There were lovely views of the valley just 1 minute walk away. You are literally in the town yet a little away from the city hustle bustle. They have a restaurant that you must try. Good food. If not ordered breakfast in the booking, do order breakfast from them. It’s worth the money. I would recommend them. Please note that if you are walking from the bus or train station with lots of luggage, it’s best to use the road from the side of McDonald’s instead of using the stairs.

There was nothing to dislike.

The hotel is well located, 8 min walking from the bridge street and the river. Book for your breakfast at the hotel, it's really worth it, it was delicious and the plate well served, with attention to detail. You can also help yourself with coffee, tea, yoghurt, fruit, cereal/porridge and a selection of savoury/sweet local products. My single room was not spacious, but was perfectly clean and the water as hot as needed for a bath after a long trip! Coffee and cookies are offered in the room. It gave me the impression of a well run hotel, all timely and correct. The service from the hotel staff was very attentive and accommodating. Luckily I stayed on holiday and enjoyed free access to the parking which is otherwise reserved for guests 6pm-8am and weekends only. Recommended!

The staff were great, both hotel and restaurant. The food was out of this world, breakfast and dinner. Dinning facilities and outdoor patio were great.

The room was so small and tight it shouldn't be legal. We could barely get around. No room for suit cases. The bathroom was so tight you had to squeeze by toilet to get into shower. No shelf by sink for toiletries. Water in shower couldn't stay on set temp. Double faucet made it impossible to pick temp for anything within sink.

Anna Maria was wonderful- helpful from the moment we arrived- she did so much- checking-in, serving breakfast and dinner (both were very good). I don't know when she has time to sleep! Our room faced the castle (good) bit it's currently under restoration so we looked at construction & scaffolding.

The property seems to be in a fix-up mode. Our room- the TV and lamp didn't work. Its further from the train station than appears on a Googe map. Because it's in a hilly residential area, if you have luggage, it's best to get there by taxi- we learned the hard way, walking up many steep stairs & rolling luggage along the street.

Easy to find. Close to station and restaurants and bridge to the other side.

There was cooking smell in the evening from the restaurant. Single room was small. Not enough space to put luggage to open. I used a carry on. There is no lift. I have no trouble getting around but it may be of concern to others. They have no air conditioning but when I was there it was chilly. I haven’t figured out how to turn on the old style heater but I didn’t need it.

A beautiful hotel with a lot of charm and comfort. I was given a small room but was traveling alone so it was not a problem whatsoever. The room was clean and very comfortable and had everything you could need. The members of staff I met were helpful and kind and engaging, and I felt extremely welcome and safe in the hotel and the surrounding area, which was quiet and residential and quaint. There was a restaurant at the base of the hotel, which seemed to hold very polite and well-mannered people because I never heard any noise or disruption coming from that area. The hotel is a short walk (though it does require ascending some staircases to the upper area of Inverness) from the railway station and city center. Overall I very much enjoyed my stay here and would absolutely stay again! Thank you!

One of the taps in the bathroom was a bit loose, but that's hardly an issue. No complaints otherwise!

The friendly staff and cleanliness of my room and bathroom. The hotel is very handy for the centre of town, only a 10 minute walk. The towels were pretty large by hotel standards.

I was in a downstairs single room, which didn't have a window, so it just felt a little enclosed and always dark without daylight. It wasn't a huge issue for me as it was only really used for sleeping, but some may not like the lack of window or daylight.
