Loved the lobby area, very funky!

We ordered 2 Gin Collins cocktails and they were un-drinkable, the rasberry had been mixed up into bits, so was blocking the straw, floating about, it resembled drinking sick, not what you want for £10 each. We went straight up to the bar and ordered draft beer, to play it safe. Knowing we had just ordered cocktails, nothing was said by the staff and we were too embarrassed to bring it up, as we didn't want to hurt the staff members feelings. Also paying £10 for the car park per night, maybe put the price of your rooms up, as I've never been charged seperately for parking at a hotel before, just put abit of a downer on the whole experience.

Parking was a pain as we went out and then came back to no spaces. Had to go to another car park. Breakfast was superb! Plenty of choice and good selection. It was the super hot weekend we had in June and we were given a fan for our room. It was nice, good value and would recommend

The hot bedroom! It wasn't real A/C so we struggled with the heat. We did get moved to another room but my husband thought the bed was softer in the other room? Anyway it was too hot to keep moving around. The free upgrade was just the same kind of room but facing the river. Glad I didn't pay extra for it. The breakfast was fantastic, staff did their best. The car parking was annoying! You couldn't reserve a space and had to go out to park elsewhere. Staff were good in recommending alternative parking and gave us a map. Overall, it was very good value too.

I liked the location of the hotel in proximity to the train station and the venue for my meeting the following day. The rooms were lovely and the bed very comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. The food was delicious and the Long Island ice tea so yummy I had two 🫣 The staff were great, made me feel like I was a returning customer and they were pleased to see me!

The bathroom had a very strong smell (like a mouldy damp room)(no signs of mould though) which wasn’t pleasant, however it didn’t permeate into the rest of the room

Very good and complete breakfast with vegetarian/vegan options and fresh fruit in addition to the usual english and continental breakfast. Nice terrace to sit outside and enjoy river views in the lounge/breakfast room. Comfortable bed and clean room & bathroom. Good location near train /bus station. Perfect for a city break.

Maybe the volume of the tv on the breakfast room was a bit to high in the morning but I was lucky it was sunny and could sit outside and enjoy the river views and the sound of seagulls...

check in was very easy and friendly and the staff were very helpful, breakfast was excellent, and all other residents were respectful of other guests, lovely stay.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was friendly enough and helpful. The décor is cinema inspired and once you get int you're greeted with a nice and relaxing atmosphere. The reception is also a bar, which I thought it was quite cool. The room was spacious enough, clean and comfortable. I only stay for one night, but it was exactly what I needed.

The hotel entrance wasn't very appealing. I found the car park and entrance to the hotel very dark, which can give the wrong first impression. Once you're inside it's quite nice though.

The property was lovely and we enjoyed the bar/restaurant area. The food was delicious. The rooms were very roomy and very clean.

The staff didn’t seem happy and didn’t really want to engage in conversation when we checked in. I had a chicken ceaser salad for dinner and they forgot to put the chicken and ceaser sauce on, which I then mentioned and they came back and had also forgotten another side order. The food took nearly 40 minutes to arrive, even though we were the only people that had ordered.

Staff needed to be a bit more conscientious about their role rather than hanging around reception talking whilst customers were waiting for the coffee machine to be fixed!! And as for the price of the breakfast £14:50pp is a lot of money when there’s a cafe just down the road offering a better deal cheaper! £10 parking is a bit steep too there’s no security watching your car the car park in our local area is only £3 for 24 hours and that’s in the town centre

This is not a hotel chain. It’s got style, presence and a relaxing and welcoming vibe the minute you arrive. Free games tables while you relax with a drink.

Water is provided like many places on the bar which contains fruit ect. Looked very murky and in need of a really good clean out. Some of the breakfast items and plates had become empty without the staff keeping an eye on them but hey! We all get busy so it’s nothing to get stressed about unless you’re in a hurry l guess.

We chose this hotel because of the price suited our budget the location was great my partner was going to watch our home team play Ipswich and it had parking on site So it was great for us not to far to walk to the football ground and into town and it was modern clean and tidy what you see in the photos when booking is what you get the staff were lovely and very helpful nothing was to much trouble for them a great stay for us 🙂

The only down side is the bar we maybe would of spent more time in the hotel bar as it was lovely with a great atmosphere but very expensive a medium glass of white wine costing £10.85 as much as I love the odd glass of my favourite wine pinot at that price it was a No No for us and the beer was expensive they didnt have what my partner drinks the alternative was far more expensive and in a bottle so we only ended up having one wine and one coffee in the bar but other than that the hotel itself and staff were great 🙂
