Lovely clean,comfortable room. Excellent breakfast with a choice of traditional or continental. Very quiet location. Pleasant host and convenient for Builth Wells where we attended the All Wales Cub Fun Day at the Royal Welsh Showgrounds.

Didn’t realise there were so many different levels so would try to book the ground floor accommodation next time.

The lovely individual decor touches…eg room divider, window frame on the wall and the location was beautiful!

Although it wasn’t cold, there didn’t appear to be any heating in the room. We would have liked dinner service but understand after talking with the proprietor the importance of work life balance for a young family. Shame there wasn’t a food delivery service in the area as we didn’t have a car.

Lovely BnB in South Wales. We used it as a base to do some hiking in the Brecon National Park, but would have happily just stayed for a restful weekend away. Jonathan (the owner) really looked after us. He seemed to be a bit of a one man band but was always extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was incredible, they have a little bar, and benches out the front to sit next to a nice pond.

this place is in an idyllic location. the rooms are large and well equipped. beds are very comfortable and most importantly it was lovely and warm. the breakfast is super so nothing could be bettered really!

it was very icy and the little road was covered in snow and ice most of the time. obviously this is not normally an issue!

Room larger than expected, bed superb, bathroom newly appointed and very very good. Breakfast doesn’t get better than this. Staff very friendly and accommodating, it’s an older building but really well kept. Check-in and out first rate. Didn’t use the bar due to other commitments. Beautiful location. Total silence in our room. The price was very fair.

The full English breakfast was first rate. You could tell it was made up of quality, fresh ingredients. Beautiful location, comfortable room and easy check-in process

Pillows were a bit thin and too soft. But that's my own preference. Room was small but adequate.

clean, spacious, has all amenities you might need and has lovely views onto the lake. there was no hot dinner available but the snacks in the room made up for it somewhat. breakfast was delicious! host was great and told us where to go hiking nearby.

Very welcoming and friendly. The room was attractively decorated and comfortable with two armchairs and an excellent basket of drinks and other goodies. The bedroom and bathroom had both been cleaned thoroughly and felt 'safe', something that is appreciated in the current circumstances. Good range of options for breakfast; I enjoyed the Belgian waffle and my husband would recommend the full cooked breakfast! Loved the pond/lake in front of the building.

I suppose the fact that there is no on-site restaurant could be difficult if an evening meal was required but this did not apply to us so all was great!

On arrival we were checked in quickly and directions given to our rooms, the rooms were perfect for us and have to say I personally had the best sleep as it was so quiet even with the windows open. The Breakfast was excellent and was enjoyed with great service Will defiantly be booking again

What's not to like !!

I didn’t book in until around 21.45 so it was dark, when I woke in the morning and opened the curtains my room overlooked a lake teaming with wild birds, I sat eating breakfast taking in similar views which made a great change to the normal staying away view over breakfast which is normally a car park full of vans
