The shower was a little cramped, but the shower head was incredibly adjustable for such a small space. The location was perfect, with easy access to transport, laundromat and groceries.

There was a lack of hanging space for towels and heavy coats, and there was a intermittent smell of cigarettes through out my stay. The staff took steps to address the smoking issues when raised.

The rooms have been upgraded within recent years. Of course they're small, and of course one has to climb several flights of stairs (this is, after all, a "budget" hotel); but the furnishings, the lighting, and especially the bathroom fixtures are far superior to those in other comparable establishments. The staff was helpful, the desk is staffed 24/7. I'll stay here again, unless they raise their prices.

The desk chair in my room was nearly disintegrating. Other than that, I have no complaints—all the other problems (stairs, etc.) are what one expects for the price.

Functional room and bathroom. They have many shared bathrooms both on ground floor and basement and some even have a good sized bath tub which was a relaxing experience. Did not feel like sharing the bathroom as there are many bathrooms shared between small number of shared rooms. Cleaning was to an excellent standard and mattress was really comfortable. Room view was not the best however we didn't stay much in the room as we're out all day to visit London. Staff at this hotel are truly helpful with a smile which you donot often get in London Definitely Recommend.

The receptionists were friendly and helpful, the rooms were small and basic but clean and functional. Tea/coffee and bathroom soaps, towels as usual. Great value for money for London and few hundred metres from King's Cross Station. Would recommend and would stay again.

For the money, nothing was bad. Would've liked a toaster and maybe small fridge but that is purely because we had been in self catering days before so had some food to store. Not a complaint or negative against the accommodation.

Very friendly staff. The guy from reception even took my suitcase up to my room for me as I had a large suitcase, there is no lift and I was on the second floor. Very easy location, st pancras and kings cross are visible from the window and there is a 24hour bus stop and food options within a 2 minute walk. Shower was nice and hot with good pressure unlike most cheap hotels, even a rain showerhead although I only used the normal shower head.

Bathroom was comically small. Couldn't even use the toilet unless the shower door was open or you would hit your head. There was a construction site opposite which i was unaware of and it was very noisy from early in the morning. The walls were incredibly thin with very creaky floors and doors so you really hear what everyone is doing but for the price it was managable.

The staff were friendly and helpful, keeping our luggage after checkout, at no cost. The location was perfect being so close to Kings Cross. The quadruple room was clean and quite spacious with a private bathroom, which was modern and clean with a great shower. Overall it met our needs as a base to explore London.

The beds were comfy, although being on casters, my older son did get frustrated that the bed kept travelling every time he moved.

We had a room with shared bathroom as it was the cheapest option. Room was very clean nicely decorated and warm all the day and night. So many shared toilets between few shared rooms so felt like using our own bathroom. Staff were very polite and helpful and made us feel at ease. The location is just the best and for the price paid a really great valve for money.

Could not help but witness some strange family trying to argue in he reception about non-sense and trying to make a scene to stay for free shame on you. Reception staff were so professional and answered all their non-sense and contained them properly. I just can't understand how some people are trying scam places like this.

Location couldn't be any better, less than 2 mins walk from Kings cross at Pancras. Really easy to get to. Everything is newly refurbished and nicely finished. Very modern TV. House keeping keeps the place spotless. Very friendly helpful staff. Bed is comfortable and it is generally very quiet given the location.

Only thing that let it down is that the light coming through under the door is really bright and doesn't turn off - had thought it was a motion sensor one but it was on all night. Changing to a motion sensor and putting a draft excluder strip under the door would fix this

Clean and comfortable. Room was very small, literally a small entrance area and then the double bed and a walkway around it so lots of shuffling past each other getting to the ensuite so may not be suitable if you are a couple and plan to spend lots of time in the room. But as we just needed a bed for the night it was great for us. Staff were really welcoming.

Was a little small. Hand basin in sink so small you couldn't help but splash water on the floor. Also no hand-wash provided (this may have been in the listing) but for basic hygiene it would be good to provide as a minimum.
