This is a perfect location for transit. We stayed only 1 night and were happy the place was walking distance to Victoria. It's very clean and comfortable, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Would def stay again and recommend to anyone needing a cheap place to stay close to all transport. Don't really know what all the low-star reviews are on about. You can see from pics the room will be small, so if you don't want that don't book it. For us it was perfect, no probs fitting all our luggage and you get a quality, comfortable and clean room for £90 in the centre of London. What more do you want?

Excellent location within easy walking distance of Victoria Station in classic 19th century London street whose building exteriors have all been redecorated recently. Prices was one of the best available on Booking.com, certainly for central London hotels. Near many restaurants, including some of my favourites. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom on arrival. Clean sheets. Evocative view of backs of London houses from window and a line of red telephone boxes. Plenty of hot water for shower. Guy at reception kindly lent us his personal umbrella when we went out for dinner.

My single room had a standard double bed which was fine for me but may be small for some couples. Space around bed was minimum so don't come with lots of baggage. Although you can store luggage on its side and open bag up on the bed. No lift but our rooms were on first and second floor so not a long way to climb.

The location was fantastic, for walking to the sights in London. Also, it was very close to Victoria Station for the Underground and getting back to Gatwick Airport. There were a few shops nearby, which was handy to get anything that we had forgotten. It had everything we needed, including a mini fridge, which was great, as I don't like the long life milk, so I was able to buy fresh milk for my tea in the room. The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable to get a night sleep, especially when we had spent from 4am on the streets of London to watch the Coronation so we were very glad to see the room and the bed on the Saturday afternoon. The staff always spoke as you came and went and was also very pleasant.

It didn't bother me, but the walls were very thin, so you could hear people coming and going. There is no housekeeping done during my stay, but again, that didn't bother me, and i was happy to reuse my towel.

The hotel is just at the right location, near Victoria which makes it so much easier to get a bus to Oxford, Piccadilly, trafford and other places in central london. Was really clean and comfortable. 10/10 recommended. Will visit again soon.

Great location. Simple, but excellent. Classic London hotel. Good bathroom. First bathroom in ages where the shower has not flooded half of the rest of the bathroom. Refridgerator. Asked the staff to clear the drain in the bath sink and it was done when I returned later in the day. My new favorit hotel in London.

Some hangers in the bathroom would be nice.

What a lovely stay even if it was a night me and the kids enjoyed the stay and our room. Location was ok too easy to get about. Our Room was on point and suited me, my partner and my 3 small kids . The friendly welcome of staff was appreciated loads, the bed was sooo comfy and having a fan in the room made it soooo much easier to get sleep as weather was warm.

Only downfall was on bathroom suite it was a very tight squeeze sink basin and actual room was too small struggled to sit on toilet seat not ideal fpr someone who is claustrophobic to tight spaces.....shower was great just the tight squeeze to get into room and close door behind and use the bathroom.Would recommend this hotel as prices are great on last minute booking and you won't be disappointed. Location was perfect, centre to where we wanted to visit. Good cafe restaurants and pubs. Room was clean comfortable and quiet. Good facilities in room and WiFi.

The room was small, For 2 people with luggage and getting ready. But it was just a base to sleep, so we managed considering the price was reasonable. Tv had not signal but my husband got it working. They ran out of coffee on our last day, but we didn't mind getting one on our way to the station.

The room we stayed in was very small but was very clean and comfortable, hotel staff were very nice. The hotel could do with a lick of paint but you're not going to London to sit in a hotel. There are no cooking facilities but there was a fridge in the room that didn't work, didn't really matter as we were hardly there. I am an ex London cab driver and can safely say the location is superb having Victoria station 5 minutes walk away and also being so close to Buckingham Paclace. There are some great restuarents very close by including a fantastic Turkish one called Cyprus Mangal which I used to frequent when cabbing, great food. The fish and chip shop is good too and Grill and stone to name just a few. I'd stay there agian and would recommend it as a great base to explore London.

Very good placed. Buckinham palace at 10 min walk. Victoria station 2 min walk. Big Ben 25 min walk. Neighborhood very nice! Sansbury market and tesco just next to it!

Very clean but just a funny smell coming from de bathroom. It invades the room and make it a little bit uncomfortable

My 4 year old was able to walk from Victoria underground station to the hotel, at past 10pm at night, so it was perfectly situated for us as a family. We loved the fan to keep us cool at night also. My son felt grown-up in the shower, and the fridge was an unexpected blessing.

The Apps on the TV didn’t work, but my children were happy enough with live TV for the short time they were allowed to watch it. The hotel is clearly undergoing maintenance / renovation. Apologies were on the wall but the corridors & stairs did look tired.
