This was a lovely quiet hotel. The room was really clean and the staff were very friendly. It was a 10 minute walk from Kings Cross. There was a good selection at breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

The bloom restaurant was awful and very expensive. Don't try it. The bar is also over priced. There is a lovely pub across the road that serves nice food. The pillows aren't great. Breakfast is served until 1030 but they start putting away plates/bowls etc at 10 so sometimes we couldn't pick up bits because there was no crockery to put them on. They make pancakes or waffles for breakfast but you have to ask for them and it's not highlighted that they make these. It was just on the off chance that I asked for them. All these things wouldn't stop me staying there again, though, they are just a few points the hotel should try to improve on.

Very clean, good sized (for London) room. Very nice bathroom and shower. Fresh towels everyday - absolutely outstanding breakfast. Quite busy in breakfast area - not at all unmanageable though with plenty of space for my family even at peak times. I am surprised by previous reviews that suggest the staff are unhelpful - this was not the case during our stay. The staff were outstanding - nothing was too much trouble and they stored our luggage on the last day free of charge. Very easy and polite check in - few mins wait on each occasion for a taxi. The staff have a button they press on reception to summon taxi's which provides the reg of the ordered cab - and they are happy for you to press it yourself if they are busy. Very pleasant experience all round and would definitely recommend. 10 out of 10 for the staff though!!!!!

Wasn't a problem for us - but the idea you could walk to the hotel from Kings Cross/St Pancras Stations is fanciful. It's about 1.5miles - YOU NEED TO GET A CAB!!! The lifts took an age in the hotel - but these are small matters - it is a really nice hotel

The hotel location is close to bus stops (and a taxi stop as well) and near some nice restaurants. The surroundings are quiet and safe. The room was just like in the photos, with natural light, a nice bathroom and most importantly: very clean. The breakfast had many options to choose, from cooked food to cereals and fresh fruit.

As we were traveling with children, we explored the most of the city during the day. We were counting on going to the hotel restaurant for dinner every night, but we did that only once, since the options for children are not many. Also, breakfast hours are very busy and for that the hotel has a warning in plain site so guests know it.

I had read some reviews before my trip and was a little nervous about things such as breakfast but I can say the hotel exceeded my expectation and was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was excellent. I was like to highlight the excellent service from a gentleman who is new to the hotel (I believe he is in his second week). He is a very tall man with little hair and was an absolutely pleasure to speak to. He advised me on where to eat around the hotel and was extremely friendly- a real credit to the hotel. Also, the breakfast staff are wonderful. All very smiley, say hello when you enter and make you feel like nothing is too much trouble. I would love if they would be recognised for this.

It would be great to have firmer pillows in your room and better tea and coffee facilities, more than one pack of biscuits would be great as I was ravenous after a long journey.

Breakfast was good. If it had expresso or capuccino it would be even better. The presence light in the bathroom was excellent. The bath towels had a very good quality.

Each day we just had a set of towels in the bathroom, the first 2 days I have asked for a second set, this morning no time to do so. For check out there was a queue of more that 10 people and just 2 persons for checkout and check in. The location: is equidistant (15 minutes walking) from 3 tube stations, which is not very good for London.

The room was very nice and the staff was very helpful. We loved the rain shower :-) We asked for an additional blanket for the children and this was almost immediately provided. Also, one morning we were late for breakfast, and the eggs were finished. But the cook made my husband 3 (!) fresh baked eggs, which were really good. Overall, there was a lot of choice for breakfast.

The room was very nice, although the beds were a bit small for us as a large dutch family (>190 cm). Also the room was rather warm (we were there in February), even with the airco on. The window could not be opened (which makes sense), but we could not ventilate.

Room is spacious, neat and clean. Housekeeping services is good. Breakfast provides a wide spread of food items, which are of good quality and fresh. The only drawback for us is we need to walk 11-13 mins to King's Cross station or Russell Square underground. Fortunately there is Bus 63 which we can take. There are many good eateries, including western, Vietnam, Chinese etc around the hotel as well.

Only the walk to the nearest station. We need to take bus.

I booked this for one of my executive team, who flew from abroad for a business trip. I needed hotel accommodation near our offices and partnering company This was perfect, in a part residential area but near to main tubes and train stations in Holborn, city, west end of London. The reservation/reception team were exceptionally helpful from beginning to end - especially Bargo. She demonstrated excellent customer service from pre check in till the end.

Nothing. This was the 1st time I had booked, and based on my Exec's experiences, and feedback will be booking again.

The staff are fantastic. Check-in and out was a breeze. The rooms were spotless and the beds were really comfortable. Extra pillows were supplied as requested. Parking at the hotel limited but we always found one. Breakfast is sufficient supply but you have to arrive early. For the price, and for the service, we found the stay fantastic.

The pool and gym were not in use during our stay. The loudness of other guests (which cannot be blamed on the hotel).Rooms are not soundproof. The housekeeping staff are loud. The area is not really scenic but there are transport links and with comfy shoes and a 30-40min walk, we were in central London seeing so many sites anyway. Our bathroom vent/fan did not work which made the room very stuffy and smelly. We remedied this with room spray and putting our room air-con on while we were out.

The room was big and comfy, and the shower room was actually really luxurious - I want that decor in my bathroom. Rainfall shower - always good. The bed was really nice. The staff were helpful. The breakfast selection was excellent.

The location was a little out of the way for a "King's Cross" hotel. Didn't mind the location itself, just that it wasn't the most apt name, given it was halfway to Clerkenwell. Didn't know if the bottles of water were free, so I didn't touch them. Too many kids running around - I forgot it was half term in some places. Maybe have a family dining area and a business one? The coffee in the dining area was pretty bad.
