Very nice breakfast, even with some vegan options. Friendly staff. Overall a clean and tidy place. The rooms are modern and well equipped. Good connected to the city centre (Tube station Angel and a bus stop near by).

The people on the front desk seem to be a little disinterested and bored most of the time. I know life is tough, but a friendly face and smile here and then won't hurt ;-) The most annoying thing is the constantly banging of doors, due to the impractical door lock mechanism. And as a sustainable person, I was shocked, that there are no reusable plates anymore.

This is 2 of 2 consecutive bookings I had with LSE Rosebury. I must say, I loved my stay there as I was quite nostalgic for the time I spent living at UCL student hall. What was the most important for me was the central location, breakfast included, and a private room. The room I got at the new building (543) was a bit less cozy once compared with the other room at the old building (465). There was no carpet, inside garden view, poor soundproofing, combined toilets and showers, fresh linen, and shower accessories. I must also mention buffet breakfast that you have no chance to leave with an empty stomach. It has literally all one could wish for: toasts, a few types of eggs, sausages, bacon, hashbrowns, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, waffles, pastries, fruit, cereal, yogurt, cheese, ham, milkshakes, juice, fresh coffee, milk and so on. Note: vegan options are available, too. On top of it, there are a kitchen, garden and common area with pool, fussball, and table tennis available for you to enjoy. Now, I plan to come during Christmas and New Year's to enjoy London in winter!

Overall, I didn't like staying at the new/renovated building for the reasons of: Clogged sink; Not convenient "push" tap that stops in a few seconds; Thin walls and quite disturbing noise from guests in the hall and garden in the evening, at night, and in the morning from the cleaning staff who shouts "Cleaning" to the other rooms to the point I got scared my room would be entered with no notice; United restroom that has 2 toilets and 2 tiny shower cabins to the point it is not really convenient and private; Just a single hook in the shower cabin and nowhere to hang your clothes when showering; If you've got your own slippers, put them outside of the cabin so they don't get wet

What was the most important for me was the central location, breakfast included, and a private room. The room I got at the old building (465) was beyond my expectations once compared with the other room at the new building (543). It smelled really nice and fresh upon entering, had a beautiful street view, soft carpet, good sound proofing that made you feel like you live there alone, one step away separated toilet and a shower room, fresh linen and shower accessories. What one could value here is the sense of privacy and a large shower room where you have enough hooks for showerware and enough space to get dressed without wetting your clothes. Despite a mixed up check in when my reservation was confused multiple times with some other people's, not working security card and lack of ac, which is pretty common, I have nothing to complain for during this stay.

The week I stayed was very hot. I was glad to be allocated a room on the west side which was not sunny and afforded a bit of a breeze. The breakfast was fantastic. So much to eat and the coffee machine is fabulous. In the 1970s I worked at this residence hall and always found the location to be perfect. So glad the buses stop so close and the tube is a short walk away. I always try to stay here when I come to London. I also enjoyed the garden - very relaxing. The staff members are also very friendly and very helpful.

It was probably the hottest week of the year! Not much anyone could do about that!

I stayed in a standard single room with a shared bathroom. My expectations were not high but LSE Rosebery Hall exceeded them. Bathrooms were always clean which was very important. Breakfast was amazing, so many options for vegetarians and vegans as well. The garden was very nice. I loved the neighborhood - very easy to go around. And lastly both kitchen and reception staff was always very kind and friendly.

Located near the bus stop and within walking distance of the tube. Good breakfast with plenty of choices for vegetarians, with nice staff. You could play table tennis or pool while waiting for breakfast in the dining room.

The basic room had some obvious wear, like chipped paint on the walls and some staining on the carpet and chair. It could get loud at night, with people talking too loudly outside and doors slamming in the corridor. It would have also helped if there had been a shelf in shower to put your things, so they didn't get wet.

I have stayed at LSE Roseberry Hall before and had a good experience. This time around my stay was equally good. The breakfast is great, especially if you can grab a place in the charming outdoor area! The rooms are alright, as are the shower/toilet facilities. The location is really very convenient, especially when traveling by train and/or wanting to grab a bite, but not knowing where to go. Exmouth market has a lot to offer!

The room was perfect. Clean, spacious had a desk and had a sink which was really handy. The breakfast was amazing. Good variety and plenty to go around. Also had lovely staff helping serve the food.

The shared bathrooms were not ideal with the showers having doors that didn’t lock and only covered from your knees to just below your shoulders really. And the curtain that was in place was see through so you made eye contact with people as they walked past.

Great location especially if you need to get to Kings Cross or St Pancras. Rooms are small and simple but very clean with good furnishings and have all you need for a short stay. Bathroom facilities clean as well. Breakfast very good.

The doors aren't particulalrly well soundproofed so you can hear other doors opening & shutting and people walking along the corridor outside through the night. Breakfast service gets very busy after 08:00 so get there early if you want a table.

Couldn't possibly think of a better stay in London. A great alternative to usual hotels. It was clean, comfy and quiet. I really liked the room, it was just perfect and had everything you need (a wardrobe, desk, sink, mirror). I also got a towel and toiletries (a soap, shampoo and shower gel). The breakfast offer was very rich and food was delicious. My next time in London, I'm definitely coming back here!

The bed was a bit uncomfortable, but after the first night I got used to it. In the showers, water temperature kept slightly changing while turned on.
