Quaint little place in a nice neighborhood. Loved being close to Paddingron Station to get the Tube for daily explorations. Also some pretty good restaurants nearby. Will definitely consider staying here again if I return for another London vacation although I may see about getting a room on at least the 2nd floor.

3rd floor room was a challenge with no lift, but I definitely got much needed exercise climbing the stairs. Shower stall was pretty small. Mattress seemed pretty firm, but really not a complaint since when you travel you never get what you're used to at home.

A lovely hotel next to Paddington Station, in a lovely and quiet location with a lot of buses running around next block. Right in front of Norfolk Square, I enjoyed the sound of birds singing in the morning. Very, very nice, helpful and friendly people at the front desk.

Very small room, with extra small bathroom. No pressure of the water in the shower, very small and half broken sink, pretty claustrophobic. The room was not dirty, but was not spotless either. There was practically no space to hang my clothes. No elevators. You could hear the trains from the nearby tube station running underneath in the night. Breakfast too expensive. In general, too expensive for what it offered.

The location of the hotel is excellent minutes away from Paddington Station and the Underground. Good restaurants and cafe shops to grab lunch or dinner and lots of gift shop around the hotel. A Sainsburys next to Paddington Station for your essentials god meal deals and fresh pizza made in shop. The staff is very helpful and lovely (Evelina) 24hrs reception very important. Last but the most important nowadays Very good value for money for the location of the hotel Hopefully l will be back.

The hotel is near the railway lines and some rooms especially the ground floor ones can hear the trains approaching and passing this may be an issue to some people. I had a room upstairs but l preferred downstairs as there was no lift at the hotel so about the noise due to trains l can't confirm how bad is upstairs or may be no noise.

Location was amazing! Only a couple mins from Paddington Station. So convenient when travelling with children. Supermarket in Paddington station also great and close by. Beautiful location, street is quiet at night and lovely park opposite for a picnic. The beds were also incredibly comfortable!

The room extremely small especially for a family of 5. Bathroom tiny and no air conditioning. Did have a fan which helped a little. But benefits of location, made up for it.

This is a very inexpensive hotel in a good location. I was traveling with my family, which includes seven people. It’s very expensive to stay in London. The dolphin hotels offers rooms with three and four twin beds. This was a great option for us. We were able to stay in a good location for an excellent price. This hotel is very close to the train and buses. It is a very old hotel. There are absolutely no frills. It does offer a breakfast for six dollars that was helpful for our group. The breakfast staff was extremely good. The food was very simple but good: cereal, toast, coffee and juice, fruit, cake, scrambled eggs.

It was exactly as expected.

Great location close to Paddington, Hyde Park and the tube. Perfectly functional, if not tight room for 3 people. Lots of food and entertainment options nearby Nice breakfast provided with eggs and ham as the hot option. Wifi was perfectly adequate. The fan was very appreciated.

Room was quite small - although it is London after all - and the basement window opened up onto a small courtyard. Head clearance on the stairs to both the breakfast room and the basement rooms was quite low and the stairs very steep and narrow. No Lift Available. Bathroom exhaust fan did not work and with no cross ventilation it was rather tropical after a shower. Be aware if you are a lower room the tube is literally 6 feet beneath you and runs every 5 minutes until 1am.

The Hotel is located in a GREAT place in London. There are many stop bus around. Furthermore, there is Paddington Station near the hotel where you can take tube to anywhere you want to go and a direct line to Heathrow Airport. It was amazing for me. Besides the hotel there is a lot of options of food. Many restaurants. About the Breakfast, for me was excellent. About the room service, every day I went out about 8 a.m. and came back to the hotel about 5 p.m. and aways my room was cleaned and my towels had been changed. It was cool. I certainly recommend this Hotel and if I come back to London I will stay there.

About the room, the only thing I didn't like was that there isn't air conditioner and I was there in the summer. At least had a fan and it helped me.

Very nice and efficient staff esp. Manager Kazi and receptionist Evelina. Great location, just walking distance from Paddington train and tube station. Rooms are ok, comfy bed with added bonus of mini fridge, kettle, electric fan, hair dryer etc. Continental breakfast is ok but can be upgraded to full english with a small fee. Very close to shops and restos so very convenient.

No lifts but should be expected in a Victorian building.

The staff on reception and in the breakfast room. The quietness of the room I have never been in a room where the movement of guests and their use of the bathroom couldn't be heard.

Having been given a room in the basement there was no view and I had not been alerted in any review to the impact of the passage of underground trains below the hotel. Fortunately no passage between midnight and 6 a.m.

Location a 5 minute walk from the tube and train. Breakfast room crowded at times, so come down early. Good selection of foods from cereal to scrambled. These types of hotels do not have a/c, so we opened the french doors in our room. Street noise was not an issue since it is across from a neighborhood park. Room was fine and what you'd expect in a townhouse originally built for Downton Abbey-style aristo folks, converted to a hotel. Hotel was staffed 24/7. There is no lift, and we expected that since again this is an old house turned hotel. You're staying in a neighborhood rather than the busy street one block away, and it's priced right for most.
