Location is very good - next to Paddington station. The breakfast had a very good selection and there was lots of it. The beds were comfortable and clean.

Very good position, next to Paddington station and Mary's Hospital station, so really easy to get to the main stops and to reach the city centre. Also, if you like to walk, it's really easy to get to the centre on foot through Hyde park. I could check-in quite late and check-out really early, so that was helpful, as it was meeting my trip/plans schedule. I had breakfast included in the price, and it was really good. They offer tea, coffee, juice, milk, cereals, and typical English breakfast, etc. The staff was nice. The room was big enough and comfortable.

If I have to find something that could be better, maybe the cleaning could improve a little. The room was quite clean in general, but there was a lot of dust by the window and the radiator by the bed was really dirty and dusty.

For me, the location of this hotel is perfect, as it is so close to Paddington Station and there are many shops, restaurants, and sights within walking distance. I feel very safe knowing that there is always someone at the front desk. The staff is very kind and helpful. I have stayed here three times now, and this time, the breakfast was really good. The kitchen staff were so friendly and attentive, and it seemed like there were a few more options for breakfast (i.e., a continental option with bread, fruit, and yogurt). I was also overjoyed to see that the hotel provided me with a small fan, which was very nice as the room can get a little warm during the day.

This is an old building, so there is no elevator. This is not really a complaint, just that climbing those stairs is quite a workout! Also, there is a nice window that opens to let in the breeze, but I had to prop it open with a book in order for the window to stay open. No big deal. The water pressure/hot water in the shower was okay one day, great the next day, and okay the last day. This might depend on how many people are using the water at the moment?

Excellent location 1 block from Paddington Station. Very good breakfast, exceptional wait staff. Room for 3 of us (1 dbl & 2 twins) was spacious. I liked having the furniture unit with clothes pole and shelves in the room for us to unload most of our clothes, and 3 small bedside table with 2 deep drawers to put some clothes, meds, and toiletries. The built in usb charger and plug adapter on the desk was very handy. We couldn't hear other guests. The train and underground station created a little noise and vibration that rocked me to sleep. Everything was very good!

Guests that cannot do up to 40-50 steps to their room from lobby or breakfast room, should know there is no elevator. They should request a room on a lower floor when they book their room. We suggest have some sort of mat for the shower floor. Shower floor was slippery, we used a towel to prevent slips.

Was perfect location for Hyde park and Paddington station, the rooms were excellent size couldn't have asked for better so much room to move around and didn't feel like you were all on top of each other, all 4 beds (4 adults in a room) were proper beds no small pull out you normally get so all had comfortable night, there was proper wardrobe which some these days don't have. Bathroom was a good size and you couldn't hear anything if someone was in there.

There was nothing we really didn't like but one thing that would be nice is if there was somewhere to get cold drinking water, water from tap in bathroom was always warm and it was 30 degree's when we went and 2 of our party needed to take medication we didn't have time to nip to shops to buy drinks, also decent sausages with breakfast would have been nice, you can hear the trains but none of these spoilt our stay.

Friendly and helpful staff at breakfast. Satisfying choice of breakfast with continental or full English. Up-to-date and spacious room with comfy beds. Cleaning was proper. Close to buses (no 36 and 98) and Paddington station (Circle and Bakerloo lines) as well as restaurants, pubs and stores (Tesco, M&S, Waitrose). Victoria (a Fuller’s pub) is really worth a visit for lunch or dinner. Reservation is recommended.

Noises and vibrations (if sensitive) from the underground from morning to evening (not during the night).

Excellent location across the street from a quiet park, less than a 5 minute walk from Paddington Station and steps from other public transport. Staff was helpful and accommodating. We arrived before check in and we were able to store our luggage and freshen up before heading out to explore (highly recommend nearby Mimo’s Cafe). Rooms are small to American standards, but we’re as we expected and clean and comfortable.

The walls are thin and you can hear conversations in adjoining rooms, but this wasn’t an issue for us. Guests were respectful and noise was never an issue. There is a steep staircase to access the morning breakfast. Again, not an issue for our stay, but could be for guests with mobility challenges.

The hotel was wonderfully convenient because I'd come by train to Paddington and simply had to cross the road and walk three minutes to Norfolk Square. Then one journey (Paddington to Sloane Square) on air con. Tube for a work function + one journey (Paddington to Bond St) on air con Tube for working lunch next day. The desk reception was friendly and welcoming, I liked my cosy, immaculate little en-suite room and the breakfast (nice friendly capable staff) was adequate, with good coffee. So it was perfect for me, esp. since I'm a person who likes the gentle rumble of frequently passing trains!

My only reservation was that my nice cool basement room was approachable only by some quite challengingly narrow stairs, which was a bit challenging, only because I'm an 81-year-old with arthritic knees - and I'd certainly be willing to face the challenge again.

I was in a tiny room with a single bed on the 2nd floor (3rd floor if you’re North American). It was one of the smallest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in but I adored it. It had all you need, including a good size shower and cable TV. There was some noise from the underground but it stopped by midnight or so. The breakfast was excellent—piping hot and delicious.

The room was a little dirty, though by no means gross, and the linens need to be updated. But it is a mid-nineteenth-century terrace, so all things considered it’s in good shape.
