Room was very nice with plenty of sockets inc usb's. Bathroom was large but the old fashioned windows let in quite a draught. Very quick lift to bedrooms. . Maid service was very good. Not a noisy hotel which was nice.

Dreadfully hard mattress which gave me a bit of a back ache. Could have done with a softer one. A little annoyed, because when we originally looked at all the bedroom photo's, not one of the rooms showed a huge pillar on one side at the end of the bed. You had to squeeze around the pillar to move around the room. Obviously this pillar must hold the property wall up etc but it should be mentioned on their web site. Very squeaky floor which again shows the age of the property. Due to the fact that we were staying at the hotel for 5 nights, I thought that we could have been given a better room.

Nice hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the food was good - especially the breakfast. The room was a litte smaller than I was expecting for an executive double - but I guess that's just London - I'm used to bigger rooms in my region. But the room was clean and comfortable. Liked the fact that I was put at the end of a corridor on the top floor, which was perfect as I had a long stay and was staying in my room quite a bit, so this made a real difference and was appreciated when I made the request on booking. The staff also went the extra mile taking in a couple of deliveries for me, which was hugely appreciated. The location is excellent - not right on a busy road, and just 2 minutes to the nearest tube and 12-15 minutes to Oxford Street, so absolutely perfect for that! Also a couple of small supermarkets very close by which helped with stocking up on a few supplies. Overall a lovely stay and yes, I would return.

Matress a little hard. The lounge area is basically in the reception area, so not the nicest place to 'hang out'. To be honest I preferred to chill in my room.

Really clean, quiet even though it's central, beds comfy.

Was turned away at breakfast even though we had paid day before. Member of staff was really curt and when we had spoken to reception and confirmed booking she still wasn't happy and made it very clear by being nice to the other guests whilst we were avoided. That's the only thing I have to say I disliked.

City center Location : we walked visiting London center in less than 1/2 h for most of the major places of interest. But transportation facilities are just next door. Hotel design in a traditional building but modern and clean.

A Staff doesn't have a sense of customer care. For example : at the arrival, to unload our luggage from our car I asked if I could park in front for a few minutes and the staff answered It's your problem if you get fined instead of just come and help me to go faster. They were at least 3 around

Everything! we spent 6 days in this hotel, the room was clean, big, quiet, everything we needed for a break :) the service was more than correct, kind and very helpful. Also ideally located, 5 min from the tube station and 20 min walk from Soho. In 1 word: Excellent!

We tried the dinner with the room service, but the menu wasn't the same as the restaurant's. Service was good and nothing to complain about, but the dinner wasn't worth the money (chicken burger and fries almost cold, soup didn't seem to be homemade)

A great location, down a quiet street. The room was spotlessly clean and had a nice selection of free toiletries. The room had great air conditioning and was nice and dark. There is plenty of wardrobe space as well. The staff at breakfast were friendly and the breakfast was nice. I would use this hotel again.

Staff at the reception could've been a bit more lively, friendlier, and welcoming. I could hardly hear the female receptionist as she spoke so quiet!! When checking out, it would be a nice gesture if the staff asked if everything had been ok with our stay. Rather than just checking if we owed any money!! The bed was about a foot away from the wall. It was a bed that folded into the wall. This meant that you couldn't sit up in bed and lean against the headboard, and pillows could fall off the end into the gap. It's very strange and something I've never come across in a hotel. It's not a big problem, but when having breakfast, the tables for two are so close to each other. The back of the chair almost literally touches the chair behind and is tight to get in.

The location is great if you are on vacation and fancy 15-25 minutes walks for reaching a number of sightseeing places, which I do.

The internet connection wasn't good at all, if you have a video-call you will be forced to turn your camera off in order to hear clear and loud with no delays.

We were generally happy with our room and the staff. However, they only accept one piece of luggage to leave in their storeroom. If you have a long way to travel (we come from Manila), you will have more luggage than one piece. So, if you plan to shop in London, I do not recommend this hotel.

The rule of just one piece of luggage allowed to be left in their storeroom was inconvenient My friend and I had to bring our hand carry luggage the whole day. Our flight was at 10pm. We needed to store our suitcases until we left. They accommodated us by storing 2 suitcases each but would not store our hand carry suitcase.

The location is very good. Close to the underground in safe zone.

For a 4 stars hotel could have some more offers from the hotel. Coffee machine could be a benefit, no sleepers, no water on arrival.

This was our second stay at the Fitzrovia and it didn't disappoint. The location is excellent, about 20 miinutes walk from Kings Cross train station and in very easy reach of The Regent's Par and the main shopping areas if the City. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the rooms are clean and reasonably sized with air conditioning which is a bonus given the weather we had during our stay (hot!). Breakfast is an excellent assortment of fruit, cereal, pastries and "full English" on a buffet service so you can eat as much or as little as your appetite allows.
