The room was very spacious and well furnished. It was in a quiet part of the hotel, even if on the ground floor. Staff very efficient, courteous and helpful. Very convenient location relative to where we were going - it's in a surprisingly very quiet part of Bloomsbury, walking distance to the British Museum and Library. Well served by public transport (London Bus, nearest tube station at Russell Square, taxi stand at the farther side of Russell Square). Very close to London Euston, King's Cross and St Pancras train stations.

The bathroom corniches could stand some updating. Probably some electric sockets in the anteroom, as my son had to charge his mobile and laptop outside of his room. Maybe also provide electric sockets close to the night table.

We stayed here for 6 easy nights. Our room was big and had two big windows which were great to let in a breeze. The bed was comfy and the bathroom a good size. The location was perfect for us, we walked everywhere we wanted to go. And there is a hop on hop off bus stop very close by.

The doors to the rooms are very loud when closing. Which was fine until we had neighbours who decided to go in and out of their rooms about 10 times at 11pm. We told the staff in the morning and the neighbours were much quieter the next 2 nights.

The location is ideal - around the corner from British Museum, and only a step further to two underground stations on the Piccadilly line. Walking distance to Soho and Covent Garden. The hotel is located on a quiet street and very peaceful. The room was more spacious than your average in London, hotel staff were very helpful - held our bags before check-in and after check-out, as well organising our room to be prepared prior to standard check-in time (although this was an exception).

The bed was very firm for me

The location of this hotel was perfect for our visit to London. The staff were efficient and friendly. The room large and warm which was perfect as it was very cold outside. We had an issue with a leak dripping from the ceiling which kept my husband awake for most of the night. Upon reporting this to the manager we were moved to another room and given an upgrade on our breakfast. We felt that the staff handled this well and we will definitely return.

The hotel is not perfect and does need renovating but for the price it is very good value for money.

The room (executive) and bathroom were very spacious and nicely furnished. The bed was comfortable. Excellent location close to British Museum, Covent Garden and transport (underground, buses). The front staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is a little tired. We stayed there 20 years ago and nothing seems to have changed. The water flow into the bath was just a trickle which rendered the bath useless but the shower pressure was ok.

location good for theatre last nice executive upgraded room via Booking. com bathroom large and well presented We weren’t aware it was only Continental breakfast a when we booked - however there was plenty of choice and we could’ve opted for full English for an extra £5 - but the quality of food supplied for the continental breakfast was very good. We had a very nice view from our window - over a park behind us and saw a paraqueet.

Couldn’t get the TV to work at all - didn’t bother to report it as we weren’t too bothered about watching TV on our 1 night stay. The super king bed was very large and had quite nice bedding - it was quite comfortable -ish - but the mattress was rather too hard - although we do normally like a firm mattress.

Everything the staff was very keen and polite ,hotel was very clean warm and bright couldn't fault the hotel

If I was being picky then the only thing was it didn't have a bath plug as I like a bath and not a shower, if I had asked we probably would have got one but as we were only staying for 2 nights I didn't want to fuss over a tiny little thing and that was the only thing Breakfast was good as well ,continental and if you wanted a full English it was just a extra £5 per person great value 👍

The location was close to public transport. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast selection was excellent. Tea and coffee facilities in our room. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Required to pay an extra £4 per person for full English breakfast, especially when we had booked B&B. (Continental Breakfast was included in B&B) But we had not previously been made aware of this when we booked. There was a TV in our room, we were pleased as we like to watch the news on TV, but if we did we would have to pay for TV channels! So didn’t watch

location and staff were very very helpful and lovely, even when I had cancelled one room with booking.com and wasn’t showing up on their system they were very patience and understanding our Rooms we’re very spacious for three sharing I had booked 3 rooms.

just one of the rooms was too small for three, or the way the room was positioned but this didn’t interfere with the break because only one night for those guests.
