Everything you need was in the room: iron, ironing board, refrigerator, speaker, phone charger. The breakfast was versatile, the service very pleasant.

Don't forget to bring a UK-EU plug transition, the hotel does not have them to borrow.

Very good location. Right next to the metro station and there are cafes and pharmacies available nearby. Walking distance from the Tower of London and London bridge. Area looks very clean and safe too which is good for me as I was traveling alone. Staff seem to be very good.

- great location with the tube being next door and it being walkable to the main sites such as St Paul’s Cathedral and Tower Bridge. - nicely decorated rooms with great views of the tower bridge and gherkin. - we liked the roof top bar in the evening (although pricey) for great views at nighttime. - great value for money in terms of the rooms ect - staff were really friendly

- drink prices in the roof top bar, one glass of Prosecco and one bottle of beer cost nearly £30. - no breakfast available due to refurb, would be nice to have the option of some breakfast options in the room maybe croissants ect until refurb done however it wasn’t a huge issue for us

the room was spacious with enough room to put your items away or on the desk, the bed was comfortable and the room was cleaned and fresh towels were provided daily, the hotel was right next door to the aldgate tube station which gave us great access to travel in and around london

on arrival there was a few marks on the wall and furniture (wasn't too fussed about this) but i did get charged £50 on arrival so i didn't want these marks to be deducted from the money the hotel took from me, i informed a member off staff and they reassured me it wouldn't be deducted from my money as the marks were already there before our arrival

Really nice hotel at the edge of Whitechapel. It's great for exploring Brick Lane/Spitalfields and Jack the Ripper enthusiasts. The hotel was clean and relaxed with a great rooftop bar. Cocktails were fantastic, a little on the pricier side but delicious and unique. Room had a great view, was comfortable and decorated very nicely. I got a good deal for the night at a fraction of the usual cost. For a 4-star hotel, it was great. I'd definitely stay again.

Housekeeping in the morning, and early too, were very loud with slamming the door constantly to the room next to mine. They are fire doors, so they are weighty and slam extremely hard. Their constant in and out at an early time of the day was irritating, to say the least. Doesn't lend for a relaxed morning. Luckily, I was up and out by 9am.

Tube station 10 second walk from hotels. Staff very friendly and went above and beyond. There was a black stain on one of the pillows and that is the only bad thing I could say about the hotel. The rooftop bar which I don't think is owned by the hotel is one of the most expensive places I've ever been for a drink Gin and Jack Daniels £34

Excellent location next to Aldgate underground. Across road is nice cafe. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Provided kettle & fridge. Nice system to request clean / do not disturb. Amazing view. Charger in room. Drinks & biscuits. Very convenient for Stansted airport. Comfy bed. Nice pillows. 24 hour restaurant downstairs that does burgers. Nice duvet.

— AC cannot be turned off. We had to put it up to maximum (26 Celsius) & was still chilly — extractor fan in toilet cannot be turned off & noisy — showers take 3 to 5 minutes get get warm. — can hear neighbours closing / opening door. — Male guests appeared to be having prostitutes visiting (but in fairness to hotel they were insisting on ID).

The staff are very welcoming! Had a quick and easy check in Room had a beautiful view of the city Love the fact that I there was a roof top bar on the 14th floor with brilliant cocktails and a good dj. Good vibes! Will definitely come again.

The room was smaller than I expected The mattress and duvet felt lumpy The restaurant was closed but was pre warned about it before arrival The walls had a quite few marks on them The smaller bathroom mirror was broken so wasn’t able to use it.

I've really appreciated the position of the hotel. It was just excellent! Nearby you find lots of very interesting and important stores while travelling (grocery, bars, pub, supermarkets, litereally everything). 5 minutes walk from the Sky Garden. 20 secs and you are just at the nearest tube station (Aldgate) connected with many many other important stops of the city. 10 mins walk and you are just a London Tower and Tower Bridge. Position of this hotel is really excellent.

Unfortunately, we didn't find any coffee machine inside the room (it would have been very much appreciated the possibility to make a coffee before to go out for a day walk in the city). And, the costs is really too much for the room (especially in terms of sizes and comfort).
