This is my second stay in the Chamberlain hotel. There are three reasons that I chose it again. The first reason is the location, it’s close to Aldgate and Tower Hill station. so it’s very convenient to take subway to the attractions. The Tower of London and Tower Bridge are close to the hotel. There’s a coop in two minutes walk and some restaurants around. The second reason is the room facilities. Room is spacious, bed is big and pillows are very comfortable. The drinks in the small fridge are free and I love the free chocolate powder very much. The last reason I chose this hotel again is the service. I want to give my special thank to Paula, she is very kind and helpful. She provided us very good service in our breakfast time in the restaurant.

There is no view outside , only a ladder. I kept the curtain drawn, so it was not a problem.

Friendly and always available staff. The building is quite old but not too worn out by any means. The room was clean and had everything we needed. It was really nice that the minibar was complimentary. They provided another blanket for us for double bed. The location is great. A short walking distance to multiple metro stations, including the Liverpool Street station. The Tower of London is right at the end of the street. Multiple restaurants and pubs available nearby. The area feels more like a business oriented, which means there is not much happening, except on Fridays. Breakfast was great. There is a general buffet an on top of that you can order more stuff from the list. No extra charge.

You can hear and feel the trains from nearby tracks. Not too bad and I managed to sleep without earplugs. Also on Friday night the street below us was pretty loud until 1-2 am, but on other nights it was silent. Not too bad, but worth mentioning.

The Chamberlain is a really nice hotel in a great location. The staff on reception and the bar were happy to help and really polite. The room was a nice size and clean with nice facilities

Breakfast was slow and when it finally arrived it was burnt. The staff were not very happy at their work and it wasn't exceptionally busy either so didn't understand the long wait. However when the food arrived apart from a the burnt(toast) it was good quality ingredients and tasty(eggs/Avocado)

Very clean and comfortable. Bed was great and the linen was lovely. Bathroom very good too and the room was huge. Staff were friendly and professional, check in took very little time. I was down for work and it’s well located in the City. However even for tourists it’s great - a 2 min walk to the Tower of London and the river. It was great value and half the price of other less impressive hotels for the night I was staying.

There was nothing I didn’t like. I would only have liked a couple more options food wise in the room- there were some lovely chocolates but perhaps some nuts or biscuits (I got in late and was hungry!)

My husband and I recently enjoyed a brilliant stay at The Chamberlain, conveniently located in London Bridge with two tube stations within a five-minute walk. Check-in was easy and quick and the atmosphere was relaxed. The bar area provided a nice, laid-back setting to unwind. The staff at The Chamberlain were all friendly and went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Our room was spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean, making it a perfect retreat after a day in the city. A standout feature was the included breakfast. The food was delicious and offered a great start to our day. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in London. Don't miss out on this gem!

The mini-bar was good with water and milk, but a beer or G&T would have gone down a treat!

We had a balcony room which was lovely Location is great close to Tower Hill station Restaurant food was excellent both for breakfast and evening meal

Most of the staff were great, however most customers were a bit fed up with being asked every morning if they'd dined with them before, most people said at least 3 times but the staff seemed not to recognise or acknowledge anyone despite being there a few times previously We were running a bit late for breakfast I called reception 'yes' was the answer. I asked if this was the reception and she said yes. I advised we were running a bit late for breakfast, 'if you come down now there might be something left' was the response. It was 9.30am Luckily the gentleman at the breakfast area confirmed it was no problem. The staff worked hard and were always on the go it just seemed odd for a small hotel not to have a personal touch

We had an exceptional stay at this hotel, which was impressively clean and modern throughout. Our room was beautifully furnished, well-equipped with thoughtful complimentary extras, and the bathroom was spotless. Everything in the room worked flawlessly, adding to the comfort of our stay. The breakfast selection was fantastic, with a variety of hot and cold options served in a cosy and inviting restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience.

Location was great for the things we had planned for London, and super easy to get to from King's Cross Station. The hotel itself could use a bit of updating, but our room was comfortable and quiet. The staff were really helpful and lovely, and the breakfast was included in our stay which was great. Would stay here again if we're in this area of the city again in the future.

There isn't much to see and do in the immediate area, but fairly easy to travel to see the sights. The hotel itself is a little worn (peeling paint, dated decor, carpets coming up, etc.) but quiet and comfortable nonetheless.

Location couldn't have been easier. Within a few hundred yards of Aldgate tube station. Room very big for central London. Spotlessly clean and with lots of added extras like a nice coffee pod machine, extra coffee pods and coffee bags, Tea pigs, chocolates, fridge with water and fresh milk. Air con is a big thing for me and it was perfect. Had the best night's sleep in months. Bed was mega comfy. Breakfast was lovely. Have a load of food intolerances and they cater well for that, so I opted for a plant based breakfast which was delicious. This was cooked fresh. In addition to this there was a cold buffet, juices, cereals, coffee, tea etc.... I really couldn't fault anything. Icing on the cake - complimentary drinks voucher for a drink in the bar.

Nothing.
