As being Muslim I asked staff at breakfast for halal food and answer was not proper. When I asked for omelette in breakfast as they said its chargeable. Its strange???? I was never asked for payment for something which we want to eat due to religious faith and the supervisor asked to pay additional charges. I used to stat at Tower Hotel, Millennium but they never asked for extra payment!!

This hotel hosts a lot of American business people, but the City of London worked well for a couple of tourists. Great neighborhood. Five-minute walk to the Tower Hill Underground station. Nearby, find a part of the ancient Roman wall that once surrounded "Londinium." Walk past the Tower of London - surrounded by a moat of flowers - to the pier to catch a river taxi, the Thames Clipper. Fun and convenient, you can use Oyster Cards. A short walk across the Tower Bridge to the South Bank and its river walk. Our room was small but easy to use with a well-thought-out design. For example, the desk doubles as a vanity. I appreciated the uncluttered minimalist aesthetic. Daily housekeeping helped us stay organized. The staff was super helpful. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the VIP lounge for breakfast or to grab a beverage on our way out. The rooftop lounge is cool. We were there for a week and really enjoyed our stay.

The "Savage Garden" rooftop bar is so popular it's fully booked a couple of weeks ahead and my kid, at 16, was too young to hang out there after 6 PM. On our last night, I had a delicious martini and enjoyed the beautiful view. Make reservations!

The location was great since it was central to a lot of the tourist stuff ie london bridge, restaurants and the tube. I was pleasantly surprised that there was a peleton bike in the fitness center. I used it 4 out of 8 days since I own a peleton bike and have a monthly membership. The breakfast was fantastic since I thought we only getting a basic continental breakfast. The service at the hotel and in the dining room was great. The room was clean, quiet, the bed was very comfy, the shower had great water pressure and had great amenities ie iron, bar fridge, 2 small bottles of water daily and had daily housekeeping. I would highly recommend this place and we would definitely stay here again when we are back in London. The cookies we got when we arrived at reception and the 3 mini sweets we received in our hotel room on our first day was a nice touch. I also love the check out time at noon since we did not feel rushed.

Great location, car parking, fantastic staff, executive lounge, super breakfast with continental black bread yummy, king-size bed.

No baths only showers unless you booked a suit. Bathroom tiny. Could have put in a omni tub as bath with shower over head, small footprint, but could have then bathed.

Excellent staff, particularly Meenah (apologies if I misspelled the name), the view from the window was great we were looking out at the skyscrapers and the famous gherkin. The food at the restaurant next door was great. When we arrived to check in we were greeted with the smile fast service, and warm cookies. I absolutely love Hilton beds and bedding in any Hilton Hotels I stay at. And this was no exception. The bed was super comfortable. The hotel is in a perfect.

The rooms although they are spotless it feels a little bit dated. It would be helpful to have a door stopper for the bathroom or an option to have it open and for the door to stay open after the shower to let some air in. When we first checked in the room that we got from the window it faced a plain white wall. However, this was quickly sorted after we called the reception and asked for the room to be changed.

Amazing view from rooftop bar. Ideally book a table if wanting to go there after 6pm. Also soundproofing in rooms good as really couldn't hear anything from other rooms.

Corridors and carpets looked a bit tired but just a minor gripe.

Check in staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast excellent, lovely food and a toaster that really works. Special mention to Ali, he is so helpful and friendly. He parked my mobility scooter out of the way while I enjoyed my breakfast. He then kept checking on us to check we had everything we needed. Thank you Ali, you are a star. Rooms comfortable and have more than most, a hidden tea and coffee tray, slippers and iron!

We were going to visit the roof garden bar, Savage, on our last night. (We hadn't managed to get there before as we were at the theatre.). The bar was closed for a private party! We weren't advised on check-in, and there were no notices advising us of this around the hotel, so we missed out on seeing the lovely views they advertise! Disappointed

Close to lots of landmarks and tube station, lovely friendly atmosphere and friendly helpful staff, especially Heena who booked us in and yuri the concierge, he can help with any aspect eg booking trips finding, the correct tube lines, parking he’s got all the knowledge and is more than willing to assist. Fab stay you won’t be disappointed. The hotel was lovely,, clean, modern , breakfast was choice of English, continental, fruits cereals and more ….teas, coffees, fresh juices, water and the food was fully topped up at all times.or can be delivered to your room for a £5 tray fee if you want breakfast in bed The savage garden on 12 can all be booked online.it was great views, to see the shard and tower bridge . Good idea to look at the drink and food menu prices if your on a budget, although I’m sure it would be the same at any other rooftop venue round London.

Lovely hotel, very central for the shard,Tower of London, and London Bridge, Tower Hill underground 2mins away. Highly recommend Natural Kitchen adjoining the hotel, spent many a happy hour or two eating and drinking, happy hour between 5-7 cocktails2for1. All in all very enjoyable few days away.

The only complaint that I and several other guests voiced to staff was The Savage Garden on the 12th floor. Advertised as the place to be,and to book a table , 1. Could’nt book a table, only open Thursday to Sunday. 2 Guests are told to turn up and see if a table is available, but what they don’t tell you is private functions get priority, and the place is closed to hotel guests. 3 Also not advertised is this happens every other Thursday as we were informed last night 19/8. It would be helpfull if this was highlighted during the booking process, that way guests would know and make a choice before paying.

The location of Doubletree Hilton is very convenient for Tower Hill and the Tower of London, as well as the City. The roof top bar, Savage Garden is a great venue, and has a wonderful view of Tower Bridge, and the Central City of London. We toasted my sons' 40th Birthday in the Savage Garden.

The room was slightly too warm for a comfortable sleep. The rooms and beds are very comfortable, and room temperature is a personal taste. We didn't book breakfast, but the café bar in the Foyer doesn't open until 9am for an alternative coffee and quick croissant. However, there are lots of alternative cafe's close to the Hotel.
