The hotel was excellent, in a superb location, quiet and 5 minutes walk to Tower Bridge. Breakfast offered the usual selection of hot and continental choices. A very small criticism is that if you are going to offer breakfast until 11am, then there still needs to be tables made up and plenty of choice left in the buffet. It was all looking very depleted when we went down at 10.30. Also, my daughter asked the chef for a poached egg but was told she needed to go through the waiter, which seemed unnecessary. However, we had a wonderful stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

Terrible room provided on arrival. Dire outlook from 507 onto a wall of flats over the road, broken aircon (tower units in room) and shredded carpet into bathroom. Was initially told hotel was full and offered complimentary breakfast. Later queried this again with a manager at reception. He understood my dismay and offered me a room on 7th floor, which bore no comparison to the initial provision. Aside from this room issue, this is a very well located hotel, wonderful beds, quiet, well insulated rooms, with lovely staff and great breakfast.

Would have liked my concerns over the room allocated to have been taken seriously from the outset. All was well in the end, but hated having to complain.

*The best thing about this hotel location is that there is a restaurant close by and a grocery store for quick needs. and *They have a pool/Gym/steam room until 10:00 PM

*The most annoying thing, you are required to wait until 4:00 PM to check-in and forced to check-out by 11:00 AM most hotels do 3:00 PM check in and "Actually" let you in the room by 12 PM or 1 PM, and usually 12 PM for check out. *Long walk to Train and London Bridge - 20 minutes or so

It was just perfect. From checking in till checking out. Lots of little extras, drinks in the foyer complimentary. Lovely tea & coffee facilities in the room. Bottles of water in room. It was our wedding anniversary so the staff made a Swan out of towels and placed on bed, chocolates and a little bottle of wine. House keeping gives you a knock about 6pm asking if you need anything . Bathroom was lovely, bath and separate shower. The shower was a waterfall one with side water jets.

The only negative that was out of the hotels hands was there was only one main lift working. Which at times was very busy. Also, our lovely British weather ...it rained . Buy you could hire umbrellas 🌂 from the hotel. So as I mentioned before they have thought of everything.

The property is so so nice and modern on its interior. The location is great and the rooms are very spacious, we had a great view of the shard from our room, 2 huge beds and the rooms were very clean.

Our room was ridiculously warm overnight. Being on the 14th floor, the room was so so humid and kept us up almost all night. 2 fans were provided for the room which did help and the hotel tried their best but it was the one thing we didn’t enjoy about our time - all 4 of us kept waking up sweating in the night due to this. Cannot be helped as it is july but just something worth noting if you book in summer. Also we stayed here in 2020 and the pricing was great, however £400 this time around (over double) due to there being a concert nearby. We did attend this concert so had no choice but to book somewhere local but again, something to keep in mind as the price increase was significant !

Did not have their breakfast

Getting washcloths was difficult. After room was cleaned we noticed that washcloths were not replaced. We tried calling the desk, did not answer. My husband went down to the desk. They said it would be brought up. After a half hour he went down again, because we wanted to shower early in the morning and would need them, and we were going to sleep. He stood there and waited for them, as he was not convinced by their reactions that we would get washcloths. This incident was reiterated to the concierge the next morning and he was extremely apologetic. He even posted my postcards for me.

Brilliant location, just a short walk from Tower Bridge and the Sky Garden which was the highlight of our trip. Really nice decor. The pool area was very relaxing and a great way to end our evenings during our stay after walking through the city all day. Our bed was really comfortable with a spacious clean room. The shower was a highlight as it had jets coming from multiple angles. The water and fruit stations in the lobby were a great touch and just what we needed after coming back from a busy day walking round tourist attractions. Breakfast was wonderful.

The view advertised from the room was much nicer than what we got. For the most part all staff were lovely and accommodating but one member of staff frequently seemed to be testing if my partner and I really were staying in the hotel to use facilities. He would approach us in a hostile manor and ask blunt questions and then walk away which made us feel a little unwelcome. Other than that all staff were lovely and we really enjoyed our stay.

From the ground floor up the staff were exceptional. They were courteous, polite and nothing was too much trouble. The reception and concierge were very professional and made you feel like royalty. The staff in the dinning area were lovely, so friendly and helpful. The staff cleaning the rooms were all happy, helpful and ready to assist if we needed anything. Extra touches like a raspberry mouse with a chocolate decoration wishing my partner a happy birthday written in gold leaf really gave a feeling of luxury about our stay. Oh, and the shower in our room was out of this world. Overall an outstanding hotel, exceptionally clean and beautifully designed.

B3 - what can I say! The facilities were very good but the staff let it down. In particular, a cleaner. We went for a late swim on the Sunday evening with the intention of slipping our robes on and getting showered etc in our rooms as we were aware it closed at 9pm. 8.50pm the cleaner (female) shouted at us to get out the pool, not politely either. Tuesday she was mooching around the changing rooms with a sour face drinking coffee. Certain receptionists could do with an attitude adjustment as well. Simple things like replying when a guest says "thank you, goodbye" are basic and fundamental manners. They let down the rest of the team from ground floor upward!

Exceptional!! We arrived to a friendly greeting and a glass of bubbly, which was very welcome given the 30°+ heat outside. We were able to upgrade to a better room on a higher floor for a small £25 donation to MIND charity, with this we were also given a token for two free drinks at the bar and free breakfast! The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful, the location is perfect for exploring all of the sights in London, and the overall look and style of the hotel is immaculate. It represents great value for money with the facilities available too. Our only regret was that we were so busy exploring London that we didn’t have time to visit the spa, we will definitely visit again and make time for the spa!

The rooms were great and they were able to accommodate our 2 rooms next to each other which was nice. The hotel is pretty close to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London (5 or 10 minutes walking). Also, the swimming pool was a great option for the kids. The room service was good, a bit pricey maybe, but normal for hotels.

Although it is quite central, there aren't many good places to eat with kids around the corner. In the same way, even if you're pretty close to some attractions, many others are really around Leicester Square, which is not really walkable from the hotel (around 50 minutes).
