Stylish looking hotel in smart residential quiet location. Zero disturbance.I slept really well. Bed and towels provided fresh every day. Room cleaned to high standard. Lift available and very smart marble staircase. Breakfast acceptable, just; see below.

The breakfast room is too small. Tables crammed together. No assistance for first time breakfasters. You arrive with nobody to assist or guide you to a seat or explain where things are. Hash browns were cold every day. No bacon on offer is sacrilegious to an English man. Only two cereals on offer. However it’s clean and sausages were quite good. The two ladies in the kitchen were busy washing up and cooking at the same time. One of them is also the cleaner of rooms. One guest tried twice to find a table and had to depart without luck.

Location is very good. The overground is 3 mins by walk, which links you to the metro after only one stop. There are various shops and small restaurants around. The hotel is very elegant, and at the same time the atmosphere is very homey. All is clean. The staff is nice. Breakfast is very good, there's a lot of choice.

Very small details: The removable shower head was a little rusty but the stable shower head and all the rest of the room were very clean. The fact that the breakfast was included in our price was not mentioned at the time of booking and is not mentioned in the hotel description on the app. We had to go through the Q&A to find out. It would be good to mention it at the time of booking because it's a big plus :-)

I really, really love the Kensington Prime Hotel. I'm a repeat customer and will continue to be. The staff are wonderful and kind, the breakfast is always lovely and the location is perfect for things at the Olympia. See you next time!

I won't mark you down on score because of it because I've stayed in other rooms and know that this was a one-off, but room 13 could do with a couple of tweaks to bring it up to your usual standard. The air-con unit front has come a bit loose, the light controls on the right-hand side of the bed aren't working - at least the bathroom one. Once these are taken care of the room will be perfect like the rest!

The room was clean, bed comfortable. Nice little kitchenette with fridge and tea and coffee. Plenty of space to hang clothes and nice dressing table arrangement. Reception staff very pleasant. Room was ready even though we arrived early expecting to have to leave our bags at reception. Great left luggage arrangement when we checked out the following morning.

Light switches very confusing and I had to use the torch on my phone to use the bathroom during the night as I couldn't work out how to use the very small bank of buttons which operates the lights. Breakfast was poor, "hot food" was luke warm. Tea and coffee machine was broken so no hot drinks.

Comfortable beds, next to good bus and train routes. Some breakfast food were very fresh as you could see the ladies making the scrambled eggs (unlike some hotels to microwave everything)

We didn’t get all the things we needed each day when the rooms were cleaned. It was hit or miss that they would give you enough towels or re-stock the teas/coffees in the bedroom etc. (but the room was cleaned each day and wasn’t dirty) They could do with more staff as the two ladies running breakfast sometimes can’t get to everything fast enough. Especially when one is sorting the bedrooms at the same time.

Perfect location for Olympia, less than 5 min walk. Also very quiet which was surprising. Liked having a fridge in room so could buy a few bits for breakfast.

Bathroom was dark - 2 lights were out. Shower not at all powerful unless you use the handheld one but you can't put it down while on. One of the panels for lights didn't work at all, no connection but the others worked fine. Despite phoning in advance and asking at reception on arrival, hotel was unable to offer any gluten-free items for breakfast. It would have been very easy for them to buy some individual items in sealed packets which have months-long best before dates. At least I knew in advance so brought with me and there was a sink, kettle, little fridge and cupboards for food. The sheets had a few tears and towels had very frayed edges so could do with replacing. No bathmat any day so had to use hand towel on floor.

For years now I've spent my tri-annual Kensington trips at the Hilton at the end of the road, but after one terrible stay too many (if you are considering the Hilton - don't, it really is worse than you can imagine), I decided it was time for a change. The Kensington Prime Hotel is decorated beautifully, from the moment you see the front door and this continues through the shared spaces and rooms. The reception staff were really sweet and couldn't do enough for us. The rooms themselves were fairly small but certainly big enough for two. Despite the road being right outside I didn't hear a peep of traffic all night. The rooms come with an easy air-con system that gets the rooms down to a refreshing 13 degrees or up as high as 40. Beautiful shower room, loved the marble and great water pressure. Also it was really nice to have a little kitchenette! Beds are a little on the hard side which I actually like but some may not. Loved the little mod-cons like the different lights settings and the button that pulls the curtains for you! So cool! Breakfast was delicious but the room was a teensy bit small so I had to to share with a stranger when it was busy - again, not really a problem and in the summer you could always eat in the lovely garden. Staff looked after my bags for me in the morning while I went off and about so that was really nice. All in all - VERY impressed with the Kensington Prime Hotel, and I look forward to staying with them three times a year for however long I am still going to London. See you in July!

It was perfect

Nothing, I was happy with it all.

Located around the corner from Kensington High Street, a very safe, friendly neighbourhood. Hotel is small but facilities very good-great shower, adjustable lighting, tea making facilities including a kitchen sink. Rare to get a hot cooked breakfast in London but they provide good hot breakfast and a fridge of bottled water to help yourself

Rooms are quite small which is fine for a 2 night stay. Towels were clean but have seen better days.
