The location of Nox Kensington can't be beat. It's within walking distance to lovely Holland Park and many bus routes. We much preferred quieter Kensington to the bustle and touristy areas near Trafalger Square. We found many little visiting gems nearby, such as the Leighton House (highly recommend), and Cafe Phillies (delicious breakfast and warm staff). Freddie Mercury's Garden Lodge is a five minute walk. We could literally walk in any direction and find something interesting to do. Notting Hill is right around the corner, and it's a quick bus ride up to Hyde Park. The room itself was small, but functional. The kitchenette was quite useful. There was AC if someone wanted it, but London was experiencing quite a mellow summer during our visit so we just opened the windows. Even with the windows open, the room was pleasant. All of the facilities were very good. The staff was impeccable. Always cordial, professional, and helpful. We didn't use housekeeping because we kept our room tidy ourselves, but they were friendly and accommodating when we asked for additional towels. There was someone at the front desk during our entire visit, no matter the time of day. They responded to our email inquiries immediately. They helpfully pointed out the way to better grocery options.

I would make a couple of suggestions to the hotel. Add a light to the kitchenette area, as well as somewhere to plug in the toaster. It was kind of awkward in that tiny room taking the toaster to the bedside table to make toast. Also add towel racks or hooks to the bathroom. There was one of those towel drying racks, but the bars were much too close together to actually hang anything. I get wiring in the blow drier so it can't be stolen, but hiding it in the closet with the cord barely long enough to reach out made it nearly unusable. I had to stand inside the door of the closet and couldn't use the mirror. Finally, I realize the UK has rules about blow drier switches that won't stay on, but the pressure required to keep this one on made my hand hurt.

Great location and close to Shepherds Bush’s Bus and Over and Underground Stations. Very close to Olympia train station as well. Very close to popular food or shopping areas. Staff are very helpful and willing to help. A good luggage left system. Someone was always at reception. I like that they have in their protocol quiet time to be respected. Great Wi-Fi and TV Services.

Just be mindful of trip hazard in the laundry bags on ground floor on route to lower ground. Also, it might be helpful to somehow remind guests especially in the rooms above to walk quietly or not slam doors etc during the quiet time. It may be helpful to have an early check in system. Please pay attention to little things like a sharper or more thorough bathroom clean to include no evidence of hair, etc from the last guest. Also please make sure that all opened water bottles are removed from the fridge. This might have been left by the last guest. Maybe I am too fussy as the place was spotlessly clean otherwise.

I have read some negative reviews about the NOX Kensington Hotel. I do not endorse these opinions. My experiences have been exclusively positive. I stayed at the hotel for 10 days with my wife in December 2022. From the first to the last day, the hotel crew helped us in all matters that were a problem for us. The room is about 15 square meters. The room has a kitchenette which comes in handy for making dinner in the evening. There were plenty of necessary kitchen utensils and a fridge. The bathroom is comfortable. Everywhere was very clean. The room was cleaned by nice people. Shepherd's Bush station is a 15-minute walk straight down the road alongside the hotel. We were very pleased. We will certainly return to this hotel.

Towards the end of the stay, the WiFi signal deteriorated.

The lovely tiny kitchen was well-appointed and the newly-remodelled bathroom was excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Excellent lift available. Great value for London, and in a lovely residential area but with restaurants and coffee shops and convenience stores very nearby.

It is a little noisy, on a street that seemed busy even late at night. Could hear neighbors coming and going and talking late. The doors to several rooms are sort of in a closet, and it's kind of an ordeal to get in and out of the room without crashing into other people's doors (especially with luggage).

This is the second time I stayed at Nox Kensington & we decided to stay here because it was great value for money, especially given its location. The property is super central & is very well connected to public transport. The room we got which is 103 was great cos it overlooks a garden & the train station,so my son used to love sitting by the window while he was in the room. Also it is great that the room has AC, as the room can get quite hot during summer Finally I had no issues with the deposit as ir was returned in a timely manner.

The cleaning schedule could be better as they only cleaned the room between 4-6 pm which was when we would be back & trying to put the kids to sleep. Also weirdly they changed the towels daily (which wasn’t really necessary) but the sheets were only changed every 3 days. Finally if the room had a dust pan with a high handle that would have been great. With a toddler a lot of food gets spilt & there wasn’t a way to clean it. The safe wasn’t working & despite informing the reception no one came to fix it. Overall the room is quite compact but definitely manageable for 2 adults & a toddler - but try to keep your luggage to a min.

Our room was modern clean spacious and comfortable, comfy beds, plenty of cutlery in the kitchen and tea coffee and milk sugars all provided and washing up liquid and sponge. Bathroon was clean and the shower was lovely, shampoo soap and conditioner provided, which was nice. The location was great, just a couple mins walk from Kensington high street. Our room was cleaned each day and new towels provided. Most staff we encountered were friendly and helpful, the young man on reception was lovely and a credit to the hotel. Overeall a lovely stay in a great location.

Only a couple of miinor things, there were no plugs for the sinks so it was difficult to wash up but we managed. We were nearly out of toilet roll rowards the end of our stay so we rang reception and asked for one as cleaners were not providing anymore. The female receptionist said she would send one up but this never happened so we gave up and went to the shops.

I loved how it was like a little apartment and we were able to cook! That was amazing! It felt like we were at home while we were on holiday. Loved the fact that we had access to Netflix, Disney Plus without us paying or putting or own account (have some entertainment) Plus all the heaters, air conditioning was working perfectly. When we felt cold we out the heating on and it heated the room immediately and when we were really hot we were able to get the room cool quickly as well. Overall, get stay and I wished we stayed longer

Not being able to extend our check out - Me and my partner want to spend a couple of hours there and we were willing to pay (was told that the room was free for the next day so I thought we would be able to extend our check out a bit more)

Everything, the cooker, fridge, the fact that you have a mini home for a holiday is beautiful. I could cook to save money and spend on entertainment activities and save on eating out. Very stylish decor, modern, cosy.

There was many red ants in our apartments crawling on the bed and in the kitchenette on cookers and work surfaces. I think a deep clean behind fridges and beds and under fridges and beds is needed to rid the place of crumbs and nests, due to it being self catering there's bound to be dropped food behind furniture so a deep clean regularly to prevent creepy crawlies will improve the whole experience.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an absolutely amazing hotel! I couldn't help but notice how much attention to detail there was in the room. The hotel staff really went above and beyond to make sure every little thing was perfect. I especially loved the comfy bedding and the beautiful bathroom. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and satisfying stay!

The room was a studio, so I was expecting it to be cramped but was pleasantly surprised with the space check-in was easy and the staff were lovely the little extras in the room such as water, slippers, tea and coffee and toiletries again were a welcome suprise. we had a wonderful stay.

The voil on the netting was stained at the bottom. This in no way affected my stay but i felt it's something that could be removed as the blind at the window sufficed. So it is an easy fix.
