This hotel is by far one of our favorites EVER! The location sits over the underground and makes it incredibly convenient to reach areas throughout London. The rooms are clean and while small, offer lots of storage space. The hotel itself is decorated in a Modern British decor that fascinates! There is a bar and coffee shop with both food and drink selections. The staff at the hotel was incredible and even arranged for laundry services for us. They went above and beyond to ensure a great experience for us while visiting London. (Side note: there is a food truck outside, No99 Tower Hill Tram, that offers burgers, hotdogs, ice cream and beverages late into the night after other places have closed - get yourself a Cheeseburger with onions and burger sauce! We had several during our week!)

gorgeous hotel! the rooms are definitely on the smaller side — but gorgeous, clean, and functional. being able to control your room with your phone was super convenient and fun, as was the self check in. great hangout areas in the lobby and rooftop bar! wonderful service, everyone was nice but not too stuffy, it felt very welcoming. we actually liked it so much that we changed our booking for a scheduled trip to be in their citizenm hotel as well!

rooms really are very small. if you're not planning on staying in there for too long, they're fine. we hung out at the lobby and rooftop bar and also enjoyed our time in London. the only thing that was truly sad is the fact that there's no kettle in the room, nor any tea, coffee or similar and that you have to pay for those drinks at the bar/canteen. there should be a way to get tea and coffee for free as you do in other hotels, paying for them to warm up tap water is a bit of a Meh.

Great design, modern art chic. Superb location for falling out of the tube with too much luggage, right there! Phenomenal panoramic views of the Tower of London and river, which I had to pay a little extra for but worth it. Extremely approachable and friendly staff. The bed and pillows were fluffy and very comfortable despite looking otherwise.

The staff were great, the style is brilliant and the bedroom was comfortable, shower great and towels so fluffy!

I understand that you've done away with the kettle etc, but for £209 a night mid week no hot drinks complimentary is crazy! Having to pay close to £4 for a small hot drink is not very hospitable for the price paid.

The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in in a hotel in my life! Loved the mood lighting in the room. Staff were all really friendly and the self check in was a good touch! Room was very clean and the facilities were top quality

Slight drain smell with the sink when running water, also not a fan of the sink being in the room as opposed to in the bathroom pod. Four lifts but we always had to wait ages when calling one, which was slightly annoying. Toilets being in the basement rather than on ground floor where bar area and breakfast area are was a bit of a pain (had to wait for the lift every time!)

The hotel virtually sits on top of the Tower Hill tube station. Therefore, we had an easy connection to the whole underground network. Bus and ferry stops are 100 and 300m respectively. The Tower of London entrance is 170m away. The central location is the main drawcard of Citizen M. We also enjoyed a panoramic view of the Shard and skyline of south London. Breakfast was a typical buffet expected from such a hotel for 17 pounds. Self-service coffee you pour from an urne, espreso, cappucino etc. is made to order and costs extra, it takes a long time to get it, so order it first. There are other breakfast options around, some slightly cheaper (15) but not worth the bother. About 1/3 of the room area of 10 sqm is taken by the bed, which is fitted wall to wall to window and a person sleeping close to the window has to climb over a person sleeping on the inside. Normal bathrooms are very small. There is actually a shower and toilet bowl in a glass booth inside the room. We had a "conventional" bathroom suitable for people with disabilities. Although much larger and better, it still has walls and a door made of frosty glass which doesn't provide adequate privacy. The room has a tiny fridge for four 0,5 l bottles. The safety box is easy to program and use. Light, A/C, media, TV, radio etc, shutters/blinds are all operated from the iPad. It is annoying, slow, sometimes doesn't work and really doesn't add anything to what was done the old-fashioned way. The bar on the 7th floor is worth a visit. I would recommend this hotel to people who are fit, not squeamish, technologically savvy, who travel with little luggage and accept little service from the staff.

Impossible to login to my Netflix. TV picture often gets pixelated. Very little of convinient storage space.

The location is fantastic 1 min from the underground, rooftop is very nice you can see tower bridge, breakfast is continental very good , the staff is very friendly and help us , it was my 40 th birthday, they invited me and my husband to eat breakfast and they bring cocktail also for me , the bar in the reception also very nice .

They clean the rooms every 3 days , you can ask him to clean it everyday but you should ask for that , no windows in the room , the rooms small but it's OK.

If you're lucky (like me) yo catch the room with the Tower view - you may think it is the best hotel;) Seriously, this is a nice bonus. Room is small, but smart, bed is comfy (except pillows), operated via tablet. Breakfast is reasonable (includes 1 cup of coffee from coffee machine and unlimited regular filter coffee cups), a bit lack of vegetables, as for my choice. Location is perfect. Very good choice for short stays.

I would recommend to change the pillows, they are too soft, big and thin. My neck didn't like it. Another thing what I missed was the magnifying mirror.

Great location, lovely decor and attention to detail. Massive comfortable bed and comfortable temperature even without opening windows in the middle of summer. I've always loved Citizen M hotels for these bits and the iPad for controlling everything was even better than the remote controls of old.

The key cards were hard to get working for the lift and also one night when we were coming back into the hotel late, it wouldn't work to get us into the building but the staff member on duty got us in without issue. We were disappointed that despite it being mandatory to have your room cleaned after three nights, our room was not cleaned. As a result, the room ended up a little grubby, the bins were full and we ran out of toilet paper. It was also disappointing that the bars didn't serve cider on draft and on one night, had none at all even in bottle format.
