absolutely loved my stay at Rose & Crown. The location is perfect and the staff was great! The rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Hand dryers activate easily and can be heard from all bedrooms, even the private upstairs room. Woke me up a couple times but not the biggest deal. Also, the feminine disposal boxes were never cleaned out the entire time we were there and it smelled a bit.

Considering it was a hostel, my stay was adequate for my needs. The bunk bed was clean and the facilities were clean and well maintained also. As long as you understand that you have not booked into the Ritz your stay should be safe and relatively comfortable The other guests were polite and civilised which is all one could expect from a hostel.

There wasn't anything that I could say that I disliked. The amenities were adequate to everyone's needs.

The location is centralised! It is very near to Boroughs Market. It is above a 24-hour pub, so you have access to food all the time. Each bed was also equipped with 2 power plug sockets and usb plug. Unfortunately, mine was broken.

The bed was a 3 layers bunk bed, and you can't sit straight when you are on the bed, so that was a bit uncomfortable, and it made a squeaky sound each time you move, so if you are a light sleeper, that might be quite a challenge. FYI, there is no elevator, so if you have quite a luggage and do not want to store it in their store room, be ready to carry it up the stairs.

No question, the location of PubLove @ The Rose & Crown is ideal for a person who travels on foot or public transport. It is a mere 10-minute walk from the London Bridge Underground and, as well, from the Borough Underground. There are other stations nearby such Waterloo Railway Station which I walked to with luggage in tow to catch a train to Exeter St Davids. I was a bit apprehensive about the accommodations as it coexists with a pub on the ground floor. The fear was groundless as the noise level did not keep me awake at night. The staff were very friendly and ready with any questions I had. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at PubLove @ The Rose & Crown. For the reasons mentioned above, I will consider staying there another time.

These are not major criticisms as I've encountered these at other hostels I've stayed at. There was water on the floor in the entire shower rooms. In other hostels, this problem is minimized by using sunken area where one showers or a barrier to keep the water from spilling into the other area where one has to change and use the sink. The other issue is the paucity of wall hooks in the dormitory area as well as the toilets and shower rooms. The shower room does not have a shelf for placement of soap and other items that one needs while showering.

Very close to Borough market and London Bridge. Bedding was clean and cozy. Beds were sturdy and comfy and the lockers were great, there were enough for me to use two. Overall, I felt very comfortable and slept great! Pub wasn’t overly loud either and staff were very friendly.

Being over a pub, there is no common area or kitchen which can mean you feel kind of stuck in the room. The bathrooms often got soaked on the ground from the shower and could be quite busy, but were otherwise nice. A reading light and curtains over the bed would have been nice and they’re only a minor addition, but not major.

Location to London central is fantastic, Staff are friendly and accommodating. The provide luggage storage complimentary if you arrive early , just bear in mind it is down the steepest of staircases. Great to have a bar that serves food on your doorstep.

Its London so space is always tight, we took a 6 bed dorm for 4 adults, and found it tight to move around and store luggage, no idea how 6 individuals would manage in such tight space. Only one light globe worked so room very dark, my bed had the squeakiest springs so every time I moved I disturbed the whole room, the other beds however were fine. The cleaning of the bathrooms was terrible, floors always like a lake, wet paper over floors etc.

Everything. The location above a dreamy romantic English pub. The staff and customers delightful, the bed super cozy blankets!!!… the fresh air openable window for good sleeping clean air, the warmth of the heaters great beer and friendly staff (did I already mention that ;) … again, all perfectly lovely. Just the showers were a bit wet sticky and dirty in the morning when I showered and could us a a little more attention. (Hence the 9) Otherwise totally stellar ! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🥰

See above ;)

Great location near London Bridge with lots to do in the area. Easy check in and card security between the pub and hostel area. Good size room and bed with cozy carpet floor and great size shower. Bed was comfy and plenty of pillows, shower wasn't exactly power shower but warm, good size and none of the loud pipe issues you sometimes get in older London buildings. Some train and street noise but it's central London - I'd be more worried to hear eery silence. Friendly staff in the bar with good selection of beer and some decent snack food or burgers that came hot. Would definitely stay again.

It's inexpensive accommodation in central London so no one expects the Ritz. Any issues were niggles - bin pedal was broken which I coped with and there was a random switch that seemed to do nothing at all. The fire alarm had quite a bright green light over the bed, but at least I knew that if there was a fire, I wouldn't burn to death, which is always reassuring. Fire precautions looked excellent.

I love the bar! It is fantastic, always food, drinks and essential staff for your trip to London. It is for a short stay because the doors of the rooms sound very hard, so if you have problems sleeping, it isn't enjoyable. You can work on the laptop in the bar. You can walk 30 mins to Big Ben from the hostel. Easy location. Kind staff, very friendly. Also, I recommend you have an English breakfast in the hostel and a nice Colombian coffee shop nearby. Good for travellers. Enjoy your time in London!

It sounds funny, but the toilets in the sleeping rooms are tiny, so the hand dryer was activated all the time when I was in the bathroom. I recommend removing it. The lockers for bags look like bird cages Jajaja

A really relaxed vibe and staff were great. Room was quiet and secure despite being attached to a busy pub in a great location. The pub itself is reasonably priced and was also showing the rugby!

Shower head bracket was broken, sheet wasn't big enough for the bed and looked like it had been slept in (purchased a new one for our second night from the Tesco on Tooley Street)! Fan in the room worked but could only be pointed at the ceiling. No step-free access.
