We loved staying at the Native Bankside, it had everything we needed for a longer stay in London. The bed was very comfortable (nicely firm), the bench seat by the window was an awesome spot to hangout, the kitchen was perfectly equipped for making coffee and simple meals, the decor was appealing, the bathroom was nice. Also, this hotel is in an awesome location, near Borough Market and great dining options along the Southbank.

Wish there was a bit more floorspace to walk around (the bed was so large that not much floor space remains!). Also, the shower is open on one side and so water splashes all over the place during showers.

I like the room layout, spacious and the kitchen is perfect for warming up some food or making a cup of tea. The bathroom is also spacious. Plus the facility is quiet, no outside noise to affect sleeping.

They should either highlight the switch (paint a contrasting color) to turn off the kitchen light (under the cabinet) or provide instructions. The first night I slept with the light on because i could not find the switch and I did not want to dress and go down to the desk for assistance. The bed pillows are very hard, would be nice to have an option for a softer pillow.

After a whirlwind 24 hours of travel with my child, we had our plane tickets canceled by the airline, then missed our ferry, and landed a day late in London. Thanks to Native Bankside, what could have been a logistical nightmare and a travel disaster turned into a story of exceptional customer care. The understanding shown by the reservations manager was nothing short of a relief. He not only empathized with our ordeal but also went above and beyond by extending our stay to replace the missed night, at no additional cost. In a world where sticking to policy is often the path of least resistance, Native Bankside chose kindness and understanding. This gesture of genuine care made all the difference. It’s not just the amenities or the location that makes a hotel outstanding, but the human connection and support during times of need. Native Bankside made us feel welcomed and valued. The location is also wonderful, and getting there is a few minutes by bus from the central train station (then 2 min walk).

I really like this place. The general vibe is contemporary luxe in a clean, concrete kind of way in communal areas, and with a softer, high-end feeling in the rooms/studios. The building itself is very good looking. Thoughtfully stocked kitchenette. Could easily dine in if needed with the excellent facilities. Brilliant location. Super comfortable bed. Lovely toiletries in the shower room. Helpful staff - and I like that there is 24 hour front desk and it feels very safe. This is the second time we’ve stayed and hope to return soon.

The shower head is fixed and is so high up - there is a hand held shower head too, so not a massive problem - but I’d be annoyed if I had perfect hairdresser hair and had to get it wet because of a silly design flaw! I was also disappointed this time with the layout of the room. The bed took up the entire space at one end of the studio and there was no room to walk round the bed really so had to clamber over to get to the other side - not great if you need the loo in the middle of the night and have to climb over a sleeping partner. Curtain rails need a bit of oil to make them easier to pull. I know these are all nit-picking things, but they are small yet relevant when paying a lot of money for accommodation.

Location of the hotel was great and the room was large.

The furniture was worn (burn marks on the wooden table), the bathroom kept flooding and wasn't built to drain properly, and overall the lack of furnishings/decorations/carpet in the apartment made it feel a bit like a college dormitory. When I checked in the front desk person even apologized for the room, saying 'sorry but you're the last to check in'. Fine for business travel but not what I was hoping for leisure given the price.

Location for us was very good. Touristics attractions are 30 min away walking distance. Very quiet neighborhood.we had good rest. Object also has a small gym, it is small but you can do your training there which is always great. And it was not busy. The size of the room was so great, you get a practically small appartment. They are cooperating with local brands, so you can find them in the shower, breakfast product, and so on... we find that great. Entire concept is pretty nice. In the morning to-go breakfast is served on the first floor. You can eat it in your room. Stuff was very nice and helpful. Can just recommend 👌

Everything!!! My new found favourite gem within one of my favourite locations in London. Whomever thought it would be a great idea to place this apartment hotel here is a genius! Thank you for the helpful staff, who made it an awesome birthday stay. The Premium studio room was perfect. Can't wait to come back soon

Honestly perfect.... Only down side is a lack of a view in the room... but how can you complain when you're situated right on the embankment in between blackfriars and London Bridge.

The room is a fully equipped and spacious studio apartment. We stayed over for four night, so having a table, fully functional kitchen and a washing machine was extremely convenient. The staff was super friendly, and they allowed us to check in early. The room and hotel are clean and well designed, and the location is cool as well - The Globe theatre, Borough market and the Tate gallery are all great.

Native properties are high end thoughtful properties- more like apartments that give consideration to space and comfort of guests. We stayed in their Glasgow property and it was an automatic yes when we saw they had a property in London near our venue. Down a side alley just near the Globe on South bank the place is sparely decorated in an industrial style with every consideration given to guest comfort.

No reflection on the property but not a lot of grocery shops right near if you want to cater in apartments. Shop at London Bridge about 10min walk away.

Native Bankside is in an incredible location, halfway between Borough Market and Tate Modern, and only a few seconds walk from the Thames. The room was spacious and beautifully designed, with a massive comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The reception staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, and we would definitely stay here again. Exceptional value for money for a great location in the heart of the city.
