There are 2 different subway lines very close to the property, and I think around 7-8 different bus lines on every side of the block. It is also a 20 min walk to kings cross, it is just really well located and connected. The staff are soft spoken, kind and friendly. The beds pods you sleep in give you a lot of protection against the light, and gives you more than adequate privacy. The bedding they provide smells fresh and clean, the towels they provide that you pay extra for also smell really nice.
The first night I slept like a baby, the second night I didn't sleep a wink because one of the guests snored, now this is really not their fault, and it is the luck of the draw. The earplugs don't block out someone's snoring. The basin in the bathroom make it very difficult to waterfloss your teeth without spilling, because the soap dispenser is right above the tap, but the basin is tiny. Other than this, really nothing bad to say.

We really enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. We felt safe. I booked a 4 day stay with my 9 year old and we had our own room with an ensuite. It was small but well designed so had what we needed (hooks for towels and coats, usb ports and sockets, 2 bedside tables, 2 reading lights, heater, AC unit, shower, sink, toilet, toilet paper, shower wash, borrow a hairdryer, storage for hanging and storing clothes and shoes, bin). It was exceptionally clean throughout. Buses could be boarded opposite the hostel and around the corner. Underground links were 5 minutes down the road. Aldi was up the road so we cooked dinner in the stylish and modern kitchen a couple evenings to keep it budget. You get a free breakfast if you post a photo to Instagram in the morning. Breakfast consisted of cereal, pancakes, toast with choc spread / jams / honey / boiled eggs / ham / cheese, tea, coffee, hot choc. You can store your own food in the fridge and there's luggage storage for when you checkout and still want to explore. We didn't use the communal lounge but it looked comfy and had netflix. WiFi was very good. We would stay again and managed to travel everywhere we needed to.
The steps to the hostel are very steep. It's tricky with a suitcase and wouldn't be suitable for travelling parents with a pushchair unless u fancy folding and lifting. Same goes for the Mornington Crescent underground nearest station (66 steps up and down). Obviously this only applies if you're travelling with kiddies. Most people who stayed here when we did were internationals travelling solo or in groups.

Great value for the money. Small but clean room, large shared area, kitchen has everything one needs, lockers available at each room (bring your lock), location is great. WiFi is very good. I stayed in a female only room, it was really pleasant. Thank you for this option!

I liked that the hostel was in a good location and that the lounge and kitchen where nice.
I did not like that the air conditioning was not turned on and that we had to have the window open 24/7. Because the window was open, the noise from cars, buses, and emergency vehicles bothered me when I was trying to sleep. The quality of sleep at the hostel was not good because of the street noise.

Check out this awesome hostel in Campden! It's well-placed, clean, and equipped with all the basic facilities you need. I especially love the communal area and the pod concept beds that offer privacy. It's definitely worth a visit!
Don't forget this: Warm at night even with the air conditioning on.

We stayed in a private double with bathroom on the ground floor, windows could open for ventilation which was nice, room was lovely and clean as was the bathroom. The fleece blanket was useful as duvet was too small for two people so we both still had covers with that. Close to the station and easy to find. Earplugs supplied free if needed. Also close to the canal and markets and plenty of places to eat round about.
The rooms are small, so small the bathroom door doesn't even open properly to get in and out. The mattress was solid, like you wake up sore solid and the double duvet isn't big enough for two as it is the same size as the mattress. Steps to get into the building initially are so tall, almost to my knees, comedy exit and entering for sure, but be prepared for that if staying.

For the price is a good place to stay. Very good location you have a lot near, specially underground station 5 min walk (Mornington Crescent). The breakfast is not bad if you pay for it you can get the right calories to start your day because if you are a tourist expect to walk a lot.
Towels are for rent, I mean it's ok you pay 2.5 GBP for it but it should include the change but no, you have to pay another 2.5 GBP for another towel so if you are used to take 2 showers (like I do in Mexico, I shower before work and before I go to sleep) it's better to bring your own towel if you have space in your luggage

Great facilities, hanging out space, kitchen & outdoor area. People were friendly & it had a nice vibe. Everyone was really quiet and respectful in our room and the location was actually quiet enough to get a really decent sleep.
Each room has one ensuite bathroom & there are no other communal bathroom. The shared dorm room we stayed in had a tiny bathroom and was always wet because the shower was right next to the toilet. School groups in a hostel is always strange. The kids were very noisy & it was a bit annoying dealing with their pranks (eg. spraying the toilet seats with spray to make it cold). Location is a bit far from many attractions but conveniently close to stations. I like that luggage storage upon checking in early was included but didn’t like having to pay after check out.

Location in Camden is excellent. Room is tiny which explains the price - very much affordable (London in summer). Bed is good which is what I need. If I wasn;t travelling alone, then we wouldn't be comfortable.
There's not enough room for the toilet paper hanger where it was originally, so they re-located it a little bit high above the reach of my hand when seating (true). Otherwise it would get wet when taking a shower that doesn;t have a curtain. It's that tiny. I really don't complain as I understand thtat for this price in London, for August this is what you can get. There's no place to open luggage and arrange it - if we were 2, we would struggle.

It's a perfect place to rest after spending a day exploring the city. The bed was comfortable, the place was very clean and the staff was friendly. Very large kitchen and lounging area. The rooms were "OK" for what they were (just a place to change clothes and sleep) and the individual lockers were really spacious. Being able to come and go without a curfew was another big plus. All the locks are electronic/code locked, so there's no need/worry to carry keys or keycards. Very good location, I could just walk into Camden Town, or go for a stroll in the Regent Garden's.
The kitchen cupboards gave me a little shock of static electricity every time I tried to open them. But that's probably just a me thing. Nothing else.
