Nice little hotel, good breakfast and friendly stuff.

When I asked to prolong my stay for one more night at the reception, I was told the price that was 40 pounds more than I paid earlier on booking.com. When i expressed my surprise, I was urged to check the booking.com, while the clerk was doing something at the computer. Indeed at that moment the price was that high. I did bargain off 10 pounds and ended up paying 30 pounds more for that one extra night. However, when I checked booking.com on the day for which I paid extra, the price on booking.com was back to the original one. Looks like cheating to me and not the way to treat an already staying customer.

Location, price and staff attention.

Bid tired building but for price and location, quality of service- perfect. No air conditioning but a fan provided which was a bonus.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. I was only staying overnight so I was only a stones throw away from St Pancras but even if you’re travelling , you’ll be super close to London’s major transport hub. The room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. There was a lovely view through the window and a fan which made the night comfortable. Other amenities included a tv, kettle and hairdryer. The staff were incredibly friendly. Additionally, included in the price was a fully cooked English and cereals - definitely a great start to my morning!

Only 2 things: The hot water in the bathroom was scalding hot, so a ‘hot water’ sign would be a really important health and safety inclusion. In the corridor, a washing bag was left behind a fire door. Even though this could be easily remedied but it could be very dangerous in an emergency.

Location is perfect for travel with Kings Cross station. Accommodation was simple but everything we needed. Front desk is manned 24 hours a day and they allowed me to store my wheelchair with them during the night (we had a ground floor room and the breakfast room is accessible by lift). Cannot overstate how brilliant the staff are. Unfortunately while there my partner and I received the tragic news from family at home that our son had suddenly passed away. As anyone could imagine we were in quite a state and trying to sort out emergency travel back home. The gentleman on the front desk were very quietly sympathetic and understanding while the lady running breakfast kindly made us some breakfast sandwiches to take on the train so we didn't make ourselves ill. I cannot thank them enough. Would gladly stay with them again.

Hotel was well placed for Kings Cross St Pancras and Euston stations all were within a short walking distance. There are plenty of eating and drinking places close by. You felt safe and secure as there was a security entry system that was maned. All staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was good and served with a smile. We used our hotel to gather with friends with a squeeze but without any problems.

From the photo's of the rooms on line they looked spacious, we had room number 13 which was very small with what we believe to be a 3/4 bed against the wall. Very little room to walk around and the bathroom and shower were also very small but adequate.

I have visited this hotel once before and this stay was better. The breakfast was well organised and perfectly adequate in a pleasant room. Staff friendly and helpful. The bed was comfy with crisp white sheets, and although space at a premium the shower room was fine and functional. I also appreciated the kettle and hot drinks tray. As a base to visit London this hotel is excellent value.

Maybe the reception area could have been more attractive. When it is redecorated the public areas will look smarter. The bedroom could have been larger but then the rates would go up.

For a man staying on my own for one night, close to Euston Station, it was perfect. Check in advertised as from 13:00, which exactly fitted my schedule. I checked in at 13:04 and the room was all ready. Four foot bed, four pillows, very comfortable. In bathroom, two bath towels, just for me for one night. Complimentary bottle of water on arrival was a nice touch and the room was well supplied with tea, coffee and milk sachets. Breakfast was great. You tick a little form saying what hot items you would like; whilst deciding from the large array of cereals/fruit for starters, the form was taken to the kitchen and the cooked breakfast arrived quickly. Also toast was delivered in a toast rack, brilliant! Lovely staff. My only reason for taking a point off was the shower. If I'd been staying longer and needed to use it, it would have been difficult. It was about two feet (60cm) square and you would need to be less than 5' 5" (170cm) to be able to get under the shower head. I'm 6' (182cm). However this is London with lots of small old buildings not designed for exactly how we are now. On this basis I'm booked in for my next stay.

That for the price it was very good, and although a little old-fashioned that was more a plus than a minus. There was enough space, everything needed was there, the curtains kept out the light as they should, and when reporting that the light above the bed was not working ti was fixed that very day.

Actually there was nothing not to like. It was possible to leave luggage before checking in, there's a breakfast included, the bed was made and bathroom cleaned while I was out, and I could open the window and turn off the radiator, not always possible in newer hotels. So, all positive!

Good location, comfortable, friendly staff

If a customer makes a request, it’s agreed on booking, on arrival and again once before the date at reception… it should be upheld! As it happens, this affected my early start to the day, affecting the time arriving to an event. Terrible moment of customer service, unnecessary stress! Breakfast was order one item at a time from a checklist, I’m sure this is done to save money as most won’t order multiple times.

Great location right between Euston & St Pancras which suited our travel needs. Room was small but spotlessly clean. Great breakfast, friendly helpful staff.

Room was rather small but fine for our one night stay
