The rooms and bathrooms are pretty standard but the staff is an unexpected and super positive experience. There is a real cafe in the reception area which serves great food (hot and cold), beer and drinks, as well as breakfast. The service provided by the staff is at the level you'd expect for a well-rated restaurant. I enjoyed sitting there for a while to work. There was also a waterfilling station. Apart from all this greatness, communication was excellent and started long before my arrival. Highly recommended!
No curtains on the beds which is really all that is missing.

Smooth check-in, clean facilities and excellent location. It's a perfect place for a solo traveler, less than 5 min. walk from St. Pancras Station and across the street from the British Library. You can rent a towel for £3 and there are storage lockers under every bed, so bring your own padlock.
Only one downside: it was very hot in the room (beginning of August), so we had to keep the window open, which meant we could hear the busy street well into the night. Don't forget your earplugs!

Great location, Good price, Safety, Comfort
Carrying the luggage out of the room after my first day of 2 days stay. I asked the receptionist if I can leave the luggage in the room in locked lockers, but she told I have to take it out. I then asked if she can keep the luggage and the procedure seems too long..decided to carry it with me. This is easy to improve allowing luggage in same room for more than one night stay. No hanger compartments to hang the formal dress, it crumbles with no proper facility.

The location is excellent, especially if you need to travel outside of London by train as you are within eyesight of the two major London train stations. There's also plenty of communal space in the lounge and café to chill out in. Having the 24 hour reception desk available is helpful if you're coming or going at weird hours. Ultimately it's a hostel, and it delivers on what a hostel provides.
I would have liked to have access to communal bathrooms and toilets. There is one shower and toilet per room, so it would be handy to have the option of a communal one. That said, this might be available, I didn't think to ask.

The location is really nice, just in front of the King’s Cross station, so you easily can go anywhere. And view from my room was beautiful. A cafe space on the ground floor was big enough, plus a lounge on the 1st floor was also nice, more quiet, so it was a good space to work. Laundry room is available. Stuffs were also nice and kind.
Public bathroom was not really clean. There is no kitchen space, so you can’t have kettle or microwave in this hostel. It’s really noisy outside. (but this might be normal because the hostel located face to a busy to and a huge station.) If you are sensitive to noise, you should keep that in mind.

The hostel location is very convinient, close to the internartional train station, and also metro and bus stations. The staff is very kind and helpful, I have a problem in my knee and they helped me with a bottom bed and everyday they helped me freezing an ice pack that I required for my knee (it was very helpful, I am grateful for that) The breakfast (with additional pay) is a continental buffet, it provide a great value for its cost. The hostel has a Coffee-bar in which you can buy some Lunch or dinner and also has happy hour. I arrived early morning and I could save my bags in the hostel (with an extra payment) it was good to go around London till the checkin hour. Checkin and checkout is very easy, and they have receptionist 24 hours!
Maybe a kitchen and a regriferator would be very helpful for hostel travellers.

Upon arrival, the convenience of Kabannas’ location immediately struck me. Nestled right across fromSt Pancras International station, it was a breeze to get there after my train journey. The hostel’s exterior was unassuming, but stepping inside, I was greeted by a warm, quiet atmosphere that promised a comfortable stay. The check-in process was smooth, with friendly staff who were quick to provide information about the hostel’s amenities. The staff member did all he could to make my stay as comfortable as possible, even allowing me to pick a top or bottom bunk preference. My room was clean. The bed was comfortable enough, and I had a good night’s sleep. The shower facilities were maintained to a high standard, a refreshing way to start the day. While the lack of a self-catering kitchen was noted, the cafe-bar on the premises offered a variety of meals and snacks that were both convenient and tasty. The pizza I ordered was cooked in a stone oven and tasted incredible. The breakfast the following morning was tasty.
There were no croissants at the breakfast buffet. When I mentioned this to the staff member in the morning at the check-in desk (a different staff member to the accommodating ones to the night before who checked me in) he said, “Sometimes we run out, and when we do that’s it.” There were croissants available at the cafe-bar area, but he refused to give me one saying, “You can either eat at the buffet or the bar, not both.” I thought this was harsh over one croissant, even though this was promised to me at the breakfast buffet in the morning.

I love this property - the location is perfect for Euston/Kings Cross literally across the road and just a 30 minute stroll Picadilly Circus; the dorms are basic but have everything you need and the room I was in had more than enough room for everyone to be in the dorm without y feeling overcrowded. I only used it as a base to leave my stuff, shower and sleep as I was out all day of my stay so didn't really use the other facilities.
I do feel like the dorms could do with a little more privacy for the bunks - there was no curtain/divider and my bed had the option of either having my head right next to two roommates lockers or right next to the bathroom door, unless I used my towel to form a makeshift curtain to get a bit of privacy.

the location was perfect, the room was clean, i was sick during my stay due to an infection and the staff was soo nice that they gave me the landline phone to call a doctor, the washing machine and dryer is definitely an advantage, the reception and bar is open 24h a day and this is a game changer
the ac was broken in my room and we had to open the window but there was a lot of noise, there was a fan butvit wasn’t enough. it wasnt in peak summer so it was ok

Staff were petty nice and in great moods considering I'm pretty sure I saw one dude there for at least 12 hours. Stuff in reception was actually all pretty cheap, towels were only 3 pound and hair dryers were avaliable at the desk. Was also pretty convient to sit at during the day while inbetween activities. Incredibly close to King's Cross.
Other than the usual problem with sharing a room with 5 other people it was okay, most people were considerate while coming and going all things considered. Was incredibly hot during the summer even with a standing fan in the room, make sure you have light clothing packed so you can sleep on top if going in the summer. Road is nearby and is busy at night so make sure you have some way of coping with the noises.
