The location was great, very convenient to walk to Soho or Covent Garden. Our check-in process was pain-free and made so delightful by the day manager who went out of her way to make us feel welcome and point out all the facilities we might require without us asking. The breakfast is also lavish and I would recommend it for anyone who has some time to spare in the morning for a good meal. Our room was so comfortable and clean, it was a joy to return to every night. Loved the chocolates and snacks provided in the room as well.

The room was not well soundproofed, and noises from the corridor or adjacent rooms transmitted quite readily, as well as sounds from the alley downstairs e.g. throwing of bottles in the morning. Otherwise this hotel was perfect in every way.

The staff was great. They greeted us every time we arrived back. They lugged our luggage up the steps. They are ready to get you a cab or give directions. The Coral Bar is a great place to have drinks and hang out. The lobby fire room was a great spot to meet up with people. The Terrace Restaurant was wonderful when we ate in rather than dining out.

My short legs had issues with the high up tub/shower. They have the tiny bottles of shower gel instead of the wall mounted pumps. In our last room, 411, there is a unexpected step up into the room. It is a trip hazard near the bathroom door. I did fall on it once, but was not hurt. My room the week before did not have it.

This hotel is an unforgettable experience! The hotel staff is amazing. The reception representative Gregory was lovely! The breakfast is wonderful. Every evening high quality chocolate is served by the bed, and a bottle of water and sparkling water. At the entrance to the hotel a pastoral and pleasant atmosphere The water flow in the shower is weak. Peppermint shampoo (a matter of taste) We didn't connect. I want to say that the staff was very helpful and kind, including staff at the reception, cleaning, room service, guards at the hotel entrance. I would love to come back again.

Our stay at The Bloomsbury Hotel was for a special London trip, we got Engaged at the hotel. The hotel staff arranged an excellent display in the room for the proposal, and went above and beyond to ensure our special day, and stay was as excellent as it could be. The hotel is brilliantly located inside Bloomsbury, hidden off the main road, absolutely hidden from the sounds of London once inside. Confused why this hotel has an official 4* rating, because the experience inside is as 5* as it gets and does not disappoint! We will be returning to The Bloomsbury Hotel for our future anniversaries and London trips!

Nothing - excellent hotel, excellent stay, and excellent staff

The location of this hotel simply can't get any better. Rooms are ok, in that my initially booked room was super packed and small and I had to upgrade to a superior room, which was very nice and a good size. The night shift manager (Jeremy?) was super helpful and nice and offered me free breakfast after upgrading to the nicer room. Generally, the staff in this hotel are super kind and welcoming. There are also two very nice bars in the hotel, each suitable for a different time/mood, but equally nice. I didn't eat in the restaurant, but could see they had a very nice atmosphere. Overall I highly recommend this hotel for a very pleasant stay in London.

The breakfast was exceptional. Staff were very friendly and remembered our names. Food was very flavoursome and so many choices. Breakfast room very bright airy and comfortable.

The room we were in was next to the lifts and although it didnt bother me, it did my friend. However when we told the staff they could not do enough for us to move us and even though we downsized on the size of the room we were given free cocktails and breakfast to make up for it.

good location as we went to see a show at the dominion theatre, we had a problem with a flapping flag outside our room. so they changed our room to an upgrade. so helpful.. the only other issue. was in the Coral bar.. ordered drinks didn’t arrive had to seek someone out to rectify the matter when they did.. one was missing. unfortunately one of the young men waiting tables, don’t know if his first day. no confidence, didn’t seem to know what to do or how to rectify the situation. We had only just arrived at the hotel so this was our 1st impression. when u spend over £500 for 1 night you are expecting the most amazing experience…

Super liked the location and the traditional yet luxurious English desigh!

I think the staff is not competent enough for a hotel that defines itself as a very high-level hotel. The first guy we met barely raised his head from the reception desk; at first, he said we got a specific type of room even though I had a room with a different name in Booking. His friend said it was the same thing, just other names. When we got to the room, it was small and inadequate. After we insisted, they changed our room to a spacious room just like I ordered in Booking. We still highly recommend the hotel, which was in an excellent location, and beautifully decorated, and the room we got, in the end, was beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and extremely clean.

Wonderful location, great interior, and very friendly staff. Nice turndown service, great offer of restaurants and bars inside the hotel. Delicious breakfast and great service at breakfast.

Bathroom needs a little updating: the bathtub didn't drain properly so when taking a shower you ended up standing in 20 cm of water. Also, we didn't have breakfast included but had breakfast in the hotel every morning. The billing was not very transparent in terms of what was included in the buffet flat rate and what was billed extra.
