Stayed for 4 nights in the Coventry Guest House, in 1 x twin room and 1 x double room which were very clean and well appointed. The double has lovely sea views and the twin and a nice view of the garden. The owners, Terry and Amanda were great hosts and on hand and very accommodating. Plus the full English breakfasts every morning set us up for day exploring the Suffolk and Norfolk coast. If we webt to Suffolk again, we would not hesitate in staying here again.

Fantastic room and facilities with an excellent view, location superb, breakfast very good, Owners of the property were excellent host, very welcoming, really made you feel at home.

The bathroom was very small and compact, difficult to wash hands and face without wetting the floor although a bathmat was provided which could be used in front of the sink or shower. Shower was adequate size. The slight issues with this bathroom would not stop us staying here again.

I had actually booked this kind of last minute, as the property we originally booked with didn't respond to our enquiry re: ground floor accommodation within 24 hours and I was concerned about cancellation fees. So I cancelled and I'm glad we did. Amanda and Tony are wonderful hosts, very attentive. My husband and I have mobility issues which they were happy to accommodate and we appreciated it. Tony remembers your breakfast order from one day to the next, which is a lovely touch. Room is a good size, bed is soft but comfortable. Reasonable price considering it was last minute.

The room was a little cold for us but it's just one of those personal preferences. We did feel a little warmer by the second night. It wasn't great weather when we went so that didn't help.

My stay was fantastic. Tony and Amanda are exceptionally good hosts. Very personable and helpful. Breakfast is very nice, great selection and quality. Room was very clean and comfortable with a beautiful sea view. Guesthouse is situated in a great location, right beside the seafront and a short walk away from Claremont pier and plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops etc. close by. Excellent value for money and would highly recommend.

The location is great, it’s right on the beach and close to the shops in town. You can walk right out of the hotel across the road to the beach. There’s a nice restaurants opposite called the Thatch and a co op around the corner. The beach is clean, sandy and it was really hot while we were there. Also the festival was on so there was a really good atmosphere and lots of stuff to do for kids.

The shower wasn’t very powerful so it took a while to get rinsed off, but it was clean.

Easy to find on seafront. Easy check in by host. Upgrade room. Spotless clean good bedding. Good sleep tea coffee. Wardrobe. Shower. Garden view. Good size room. Good lighting. Very good Breakfast fruit yogurt. Cereals. Hot cooked food. Very welcome hosts.very clean peaceful stay at a reasonable price.

I could not find any faults.

This b&b is in a great location on the sea front. With a bedroom at the front you can hear the sea! The breakfast is great, the hosts helpful and friendly. There is a kettle in your room and a TV. The bathroom was clean and had shower gel and shampoo.

It's not the hosts fault, but noisy neighbours were annoying! My bed had a plastic mattress cover, and it made for hot and sweaty sleeping.

The owners are so lovely, always on hand and always very pleasant, couldn’t be better. Perfect location right on the sea front, the views from room 3 through the massive windows were amazing. the breakfast was very nice, cereals, fresh fruit, yogurt, as much toast as you want and a very good hot cooked breakfast. You didn’t have to state a time for your breakfast between 8 & 9.30 and you didn’t have to pre order either. The room was large, the bed was comfortable and all the extras, TV, hairdryer, hand wash and shower gel were good quality, and a brand new carpet made the room feel sumptuous, the owner kindly asked that we remove our shoes before going into our room which was no problem at all. Tea, coffee and biscuits were provided too and would have been replenished each day had we used them. We also had the room next door for a family member and this too was really nice, separate shower room and toilet down the corridor but we’re only used by him so was private. His room also had a sink in it. One of the nicest B&B’s we’ve been in for a long time and if we’re ever in Lowestoft in the future we would use it again.

Just a suggestion definitely not a criticism, could use a set of drawers as there was need for somewhere to put more clothes and also to put some cosmetics etc on. Maybe a shelf on the wall in the bathroom for shower gel, deodorant and toothbrushes etc (although we realised on the last day there was a shelf in a cupboard under the sink that we could use) Towel hooks would also be a good idea as there was only one towel rail on the back of the door which was not big enough for 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel. And lastly, the windows in room 3 were massive, which is great for the view, but being light very early meant that the sun streamed in through them and we were woken very early, maybe some blackout blinds would be a good idea.

The view from room was amazing.sea view looking out over the North Sea and pier. The sHosts Amanda and her husband were amazing very friendly and approachable. Nothing was to much trouble. Amazing full English cooked breakfast.cereals,fruit,toast ham or marmalade. Because I have two sets of friends that live in Lowestoft this Guest house now will be my second home.

No dislikes everything was excellent.

The house was immaculate. Tastefully decorated but not trendy. The hosts were friendly, attentive, informative, house proud but not busy. I love poached eggs and theirs were prefect. Full English breakfast was nice and not greasy. Fresh fruit, yogurt and a good selection of cereals too! The house is front row on the seafront and we had a very big front room on the first floor with a gorgeous sea view. New carpets in the room and a comfy spotless bed. The bathroom was also spotless. My daughter had antibiotics for a bad ear and the hosts even put a little fridge in the room for her medicine. Very fairly priced. I was also really struck by how clean Lowestoft is. No dog-ends or litter on the beach.

The floor level big window in the front bedroom would have terrified me had my kids been younger and crawling however I’m sure the hosts put appropriate aged children in the correct rooms. My husband is a vegetarian and his breakfast was the same as mine but with the meat removed. He didn’t care and we did not go hungry but maybe a veggie sausage could have been made available.
