The rooms were large and tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was large as was the shower. The surroundings were beautiful although a bit of the beaten track. The restaurant was fine and our dinner on Friday night was nice. The bar /restaurant staff were very friendly but maybe more staff would be better.

The disability room, although big did not have hand rails around the toilet or a seat in the shower area of the wet room. My husband slipped in our shower as the base was slippery. The tea and milk in the room was not replenished daily (we were only there two nights) so we could not have a cup of tea on the second morning. The cooked breakfast on the Sunday morning had a few issues, a hair in the mushrooms and the bacon was cooked on a griddle that had not been cleaned properly so tasted of char not bacon.

It’s set in a beautiful location off of the beaten track. It’s right on the river, with fabulous views of the water and surrounding countryside. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. We had breakfast included and ordered of a menu rather than it being buffet style. I actually preferred this as we had a lot more choice. We also ate there one evening, the menu had a good choice with allergy info and was reasonably priced. There isn’t much near by but Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth are within a reasonable driving distance for coast and beaches. We didn’t visit the Broads, but would certainly stay here again when we do.

Staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was great and the room larger than expected. The room was very well situated for disabled husband.

The access to the pool. Seeing as there was no lifeguard (as expected) why could residents not go earlier and later in the day. A 7am before breakfast would have been great and a 5pm one idea upon return. We could have been given a key/code access when we booked in.

Beautiful location with wonderful views over the Broads and harbour. Friendly welcome and the rooms we big and spotless. The bathroom was well laid out and the shower was piping hot. Bed was huge and very very comfortable allowing a superb night's sleep. The breakfast was top notch but only order the full English if you are hungry...it was huge and delicious.

There was nothing not to like. The roads leading to it are mainly single track (well, the route we took were) so care is needed but where they led made it worth while.

Large comfortable family room which was very good value. The staff are so friendly. We could book the swimming pool for the day we arrived and used it again after we had checked out which our children loved. The breakfast is made to order and was delicious. The place is secluded but we loved how peaceful it is by the marina.

Be good to have aircon in the family room so you can keep windows closed as there is a little bit of noise from the restaurant tidying up.

Nice large room and bathroom. Overall a pleasant stay.

We booked a 2 night stay and our room was not refreshed after the first night. It would have been nice to have the bed made, bin emptied and coffee etc. replenished as a minimum. We were told that towels from the room have to be used for the pool, which left them wet and smelling of chlorine. We could have asked for new ones, but they were not offered initially. A bell in reception would be handy to avoid waiting.

Everything was amazing! Check in was easy and the lovely lady on reception had put the heating on for us in our room so we were warm. They were all so accomodating to book us in for swimming. The room was amazing, very spacious large bed lots of pillows, the bathroom was also very big lovely waterfall shower and lots of soft fluffy towels. The restaurant attached was also fantastic, good prices and all home made food and generous portions. Breakfast was also included in our stay, best bacon I've ever had! Lovely young chap in the restaurant so polite and attentive. Best stay ever I'm not sure why this place isn't rated higher. We can't wait to come back again. Thank you for giving us the relaxing getaway we were hoping for.

There was not one thing we didn't like.

Room was beautiful. So clean and comfy and well decorated. Bathroom was lush. The staff were lovely and very attentive especially the gentleman with the snake tattoo working the bar and restaurant (I didn't catch his name) but big thanks to him for making me feel so welcome.

Menu in restaurant could have had a little more choice.

Loved the big family room with a huge bed. Dinner and breakfast were both freshly cooked and were delicious. Lovely location

Unfortunately our TV wasn’t working and with a toddler it was definitely needed. We were told someone would look at it the next day, but we were only staying 1 night, which was a shame.

The staff were really friendly and went above and beyond, Vicky on reception was amazing and drove us to the wedding we were attending when she realised we were not going to get a cab in her own car. Amazing generosity and I can't thank her enough we got there just as the bride got to the church. The breakfast is also amazing the sausages in particular and so filling.

The only two negatives is that the service is slow but you can see that everyone is super busy and working hard and there was no hand soap in the bathroom in the room to wash your hands after a number two! We ended up using our shower gel.
