Loved this family run B&B - a very comfortable and warm openess from the hosts, and an incredible home cooked breakfast which set us up for a day of exploring this fabulous coastline. Our hosts were also very generous with giving great local information and restaurant recommendations (book in advance). My children & I really enjoyed our escape from London - and I'm so glad we chose Kersbrook for our stay. It's a steep walk to and from the accommodation - but we came for some exhilaration, and it was well worth it. Thank you.

Lovely thatched property with a beautiful garden at the back. The owners were incredibly helpful and welcoming on arrival, the bed was comfortable and had a good selection of teas, coffees etc. in the room. Lovely shower. Very quiet location, free on site parking (with assistance in our case, as the owner came out to greet us :) and there were nice homely touches which we would have made use of if we had stayed longer i.e. an honesty bar in a communal lounge, with games etc (would be nice for a winter stay!) and the breakfast was exceptional quality, with a buffet and cooked options, with every need catered for. We will definitely re visit.

Some bottled water or a jug of drinking water in the room would have ticked that extra box for me :) but there was nothing that we didn't like.

If you have mobility problems it is at the top of a hill.So you need to think about the walk back up the hill .Not a problem though .It was a great way to keep fit and walk off the food and drink .Great going down the hill through the gardens.But that's lyme Regis for you.Up and Down

Very happy with our stay here. Very friendly helpful hosts, parking at the back of the hotel which is a real bonus in Lyme Regis, lovely breakfast. Location worked well for us as we were happy to walk in and out of town, though be aware it is uphill coming back! Would recommend and would stay here again.

Nothing we didn't like.

Very comfortable room. Breakfast was excellent. Everywhere really clean and homely. Staff/owner very friendly and made us feel very welcome. There was a lovely garden too. Only drawback, a steep climb from the town to the hotel.

Location - due to the steep hill from town to the hotel but nothing you could do about this. Probably did us good and burned off a few calories!!!

It was very sunny on our visit and the garden had comfy chairs in various areas which allowed us to chill out. The host was very helpful in providing bus timetables printed from their own computer.

The parking for a full house was not properly catered for and the property is at the top of a steep hill. So for us 80 year olds, we needed to know the timetables for the hourly buses in order to get to and from the beach.

The full English breakfast was excellent and the staff were helpful and very friendly. The hotel has a warm and friendly atmosphere and garden to the rear are relaxing and give good access to the car parking.

We were vary happy with the hotel and would not change anything.

Beautiful b&b. The room was very nice. Felt like a bedroom rather than a hotel room... the staff were very friendly and great breakfast in the morning. The location is ideal for the area with a short walk to yhe beach. We both thought this was the perfect place to stay for our holiday in Lyme Regis

Alex, Alison and all the staff were lovely. They made us feel very welcome. Kersbrook had real character and was very comfortable and inviting. The gardens were also well tended and attractive. The on site parking made loading and unloading the car very easy. Slept very well in the comfortable and clean bed. Tea making facilities in the room were well stocked and replenished daily. The breakfast was excellent. Lyme Regis was lovely, clean and friendly.

If I'm nit picking, the shower wasn't draining properly. The bedroom could do with a few more drawers. The knob to the wardrobe wasn't fixed on properly and broke on first night. The TV was a little small.

Location was spot on , short walk to town ( downhill going coming back was a trial on my knees ! ) so great for visiting shops beach cob etc. very good breakfast , I was very lucky being a solo guest so it was quiet. Free parking a real bonus

Nothing really - only downside was the road it sits on is a bit of a rat run, and quite busy at peak times. There is no path along some of the road which if you are walking can be a little bit daunting .
