You should be very proud of your hotel in what it offers aswell as All your staff. Reception staff both day and night shift were friendly welcoming and informative. The hotel was very clean and well maintained and our room was no exception. We stayed 2 nights in Room 216 which offered everything you could want if not more from a hotel. We tried the the breakfast which was fantastic with a great variety of choice and staff were very attentive as was the gentleman how worked the evening bar and cooked our pizza perfectly. The carpark was secure and the location of the hotel which is only a short walking distance to bars restaurants and Manchesters town/shopping centre. We WILL be using this hotel again in the future.

I don’t often leave reviews but credit where it’s due. Located in a really great up-and-coming area, not a million miles from the centre. I was optimistic due to the mixed reviews, but I have nothing but positive things to say. Upon arrival, there was a the hotel, lots of spaces at 2 o’clock when we got there and you can pay for this at reception. The cost is £14.50. We didn’t mind considering that the car was parked next door to the hotel and not in one of the local NCP’s which is the only option for a lot of hotels in the centre due to limited parking. The reception staff were very welcoming. We had a drink in the bar area for the first couple of hours so that we could settle in and the room could be cleaned. The staff were really friendly and accommodating. When we finally got to see our room, it was massive with great views. It was immaculate and I have no complaint about the cleanliness. The hotel was a short walk away from The Ivy, which we had reservations for. We spent the evening drinking close to the hotel before going to the arena to watch the boxing, it was a lovely evening and we were able to walk back, it wasn’t far at all. The location is excellent. The rain was warm admittedly, and you can’t open the windows a lot so it was a warm evening but this can’t be helped. It is in a city centre location so the traffic was quite busy even on a night time but it didn’t stop me getting a decent night sleep. I don’t know why I wasn’t expecting anything big for breakfast, but I was pleasantly surprised. There was a full English buffet breakfast counter, so you could have as much or as little as you wanted, as well as cereals, toast, etc. I’m really fussy, but was very happy with the quality of the sausages and bacon! Ample juice and hot drinks available, couldn’t have asked for anything more. We actually enjoyed it so much that we had a pre-existing booking for another hotel in November again for an event at the arena.

As mentioned above, it was a little warm and you could hear the traffic in the early hours, but to be fair, it’s the city centre location so nothing to grumble about really!

Location was good and wasn’t too far from the city centre and also not far from the coach station where I would have to meet my coach to come back to london. Staff were extremely helpful and would like to say a HUGE thank you to Emily who was exceptionally helpful considering finding somewhere to accommodate that night given my circumstances wasn’t I spoke with various other hotels and they either couldn’t help or couldn’t accommodate however Emily was very empathetic and eager to help so again much obliged Emily we had a great experience and a comfortable stay 😮 before I forget 24hr bar was an added Bonus and refreshments were reasonably priced

Tbh I don’t think I have anything to complain about was happy with our room. Breakfast was good no complaints there and hospitality overall was great felt well looked after for the duration of my stay and staff also offered to arrange my travel to the coach station at the end of my stay

I loved the room, cleanliness, set-up of space, downstairs area and reception was really lovely and the lady at the bar was so kind. She makes an amazing espresso martini! Pizza was nice and she even made it in a shape of a little heart. We though that was a cute touch. I would definitely stay again, however in a smaller room maybe due to the warmth and not enough air - 1 window for such a big room with no AC.

It was just so incredibly warm it was almost unbearable. We had to have the small ventilator on all night. It felt claustrophobic because of the heat. The window only opens a few centimeters. I've read negative reviews about the warmth but I had no idea it'd be that bad. If it wasn't for that, it would definitely be my forever go to place cause its a lovely space and so conveniently close to the centre.

For what I paid, I didn't expect too much, but it was great. Rooms are quite spacious and so are the bathrooms. I was very happy with my experience and all of the interactions I had with staff were very pleasant. Highly recommend :)

I did put in a request for a room with a window, and my confirmation on Booking.com said that they agreed to comply with my request, but that was not the case - I think that message on Booking.com is automated and you'd probably be best to call ahead to check for updates on any special requests. If you don't like windowless rooms, then that may be a sticking point, but for me, I had no problem with it at all as it was a very minor preference.

Breakfast was excellent. Bar was great, staff were excellent. Air con. Good TV/WiFi availability.

No windows. Which I knew when I booked but didn’t realise until I got up the next day that I didn’t know what sort of day it was out. Only one bath towel and face towel, and toiletries, supplied despite room being for two people.Only 4 teabags provided. A cup each on arrival and one int he morning - not enough. Bath v difficult to get into (I’m 5ft) as sort of ledge extends the width of the bath. Checked in online but still had to fill out form on arrival. Extra £25 deposit requested on arrival. Not aware of in advance. Breakfast served in an airless room with no windows again, and no air con. There were stains on the carpet - blood or ketchup or wine - which were a bit off-putting.

excellent room. good location just inside salford and within walking distance of manchester city centre. Staff were warm & welcoming. Parking directly outside within a secure, fenced perimeter was a plus.

breakfast service was in the basement. having breakfast in a room without windows wasn't the best

The staff on reception were fantastic. A lady called Chanel assisted me when I checked in, and as always is very happy, smiley and friendly. Whatever I ask of her, she always responds positively and goes out of her way to help me. She is extremely welcoming indeed and it is great to see a happy face after a long journey into Manchester. As I left the hotel after my stay, the staff kindly called a taxi for me, and the cab driver refused to take me as claimed that the roads were all closed. I was totally unable to get to the train station and the senior manager, Jean, insidted she take me to the train station in her own car! I could not belive how helpful, friendly and efficient she was! What a wonderful change to have a body of staff running a business that were genuinely concerned about the welfare of their guests. She took me to the train station in her own car to ensure I was not stranded at the hotel away from home! I would have been stuck in Manchester if she had not been so very kind as to ensure my entire trip went smoothly! I am extremely impressed with the staff here. They are very efficient, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also fantastic!!!!!! All staff are very friendly. I can highly recommend!!! A*********

The staff were friendly and helpful. Staff were very attentive at breakfast and went above and beyond to make sure guests were happy and had everything that they needed. Although there was limited parking we were able to get a space which was very handy. Location was a 20 minute walk away from bars and sightseeing. The hotel was quiet and we weren't disturbed by noise travelling from any of the other guests.

The pizzas made behind the bar were made with a very strong tomato base which spoilt the taste. (Pizzas were an optional extra so it was our choice to try them.)

I love the spacious rooms, separate bathroom and toilet, desk provision and a large comfortable bed. The Ainscough is in easy walking distance both to Manchester city centre and to the University of Salford. The breakfast buffet was everything that you need for a full English breakfast and the staff both at reception and at the breakfast service were lovely.

It would be nice to have a coat hook somewhere in the room. The carpets are a bit worn in places and during a previous visit the pizza was served in a cardboard box rather than on crockery. The rooms facing the ring road can be a tad noisy and the telephone in the room produces a fairly bright light.
