This is a really nice small hotel, with a personal feel. Staff were lovely - smiling, friendly and attentive. Comfy room, with very large bed. Peaceful and tranquil. Ground floor room was set up well for disabled guests, with flat access all the way from car park (which was right outside front door), and wet room shower. Breakfast was included, and was a good size and very tasty indeed.

Slightly out of town. Radiator was a bit creaky when it first turned on, but only briefly, so not a problem.

Arrived late owing to traffic so it was dark and only a member of staff at reception to book us in and give us keys. Had a very early start, left before 6am so didn't get to experience the booked breakfast or staff hospitality

Not able to comment as late arrival and early departure so no interaction with staff. Hotel was very clean of what we saw.

Excellent location to East Midlands Airport, stunning views and a very modern room. Breakfast was lovely and loads of choice and staff were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed as two Adults and two children for one night.

Only very minor flaw is that there is no on site bar or restaurant but Melbourne Village is up the road for food and drink. Mind your head if you're tall and staying in room 13!

Good location and excellent views. Comfortable bed. Thick curtains. Friendly hosts. Lots of free on site parking. Good value for money. plenty of breakfast choice.

Toilet too low for comfort. Lack of anywhere to put anything in bathroom. Room only partially serviced during stay. There is a lot of aircraft/race track noise though this can’t be blamed on the hotel.

lovely welcome, such a beautiful location, even though I do not drive I would go back for a weeks stay - just like a retreat. The room was clean, nicely decorated, spacious and amply supplied with refreshments altough a bottle or 2 of bottled water would be a nice little touch), Loads of space in the ensuite which still had privacy with a curtain as there was no door. Breakfast was beautiful (fresh, hot, tasty, done wuickly to order) and they even shared the make of sausage so I can get some myself! When they realised I was travelling alone instead of in a pair, they kindly & unexpectedly reduced the price to a single person tarrif. so helpful, even offered to drive me to the airport bus link instead of a taxi (they were going to be busy though as there was a wedding on so I declined), but had contacts for local and efficient taxi services. Am loooking forward to going back. (I also want one of the wall clocks!) Free wifi is a rarity and a very nice touch - strong signal despite being in the countryside!

its NO fault of the hotel - local bus stops were hard to find, and the immedicate vicinity was a little dangerous to walk as there are no footpaths.

Wow stopped here to go to a 50th birthday party up the road, the room was lovely and clean, the couple that own it were amazing and went above and beyond to help myself and my girlfriend, breakfast was absolutely amazing, would definitely stop again, really glad I picked here to stay over. 🤗

Breakfast lovely and clearly made when ordered rather than just being warmed up. The bed was comfy and it was very clean. The waitress was very polite

They could offer how you would like eggs cooked. I also would have liked fruit to be available and also water rather than juice however sure they would have brought this. The toilet seat did not stand up. Breakfast could have been offered later as last time 9am

We had a family wedding at the near by Donnington Park Farm so it was a great location for us. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was between 8am and 9am which was a bit of a rush, especially the morning after the wedding.

Good price , good breakfast, friendly staff. Recommended for an overnight stay.

The room only had fanlight (roof) windows so you couldn't actually see the 'view', which from outside was beautiful. Similarly, the breakfast room had no windows at all.

Easy and friendly check in. Room clean with drink making facilities and a hair dryer. Bathroom small but with everything you need. Good cooked breakfast and very good coffee. Would happily revisit.

It's on the flight path to the airport, so you do get the occassional plane noise.
