Very clean, cosy, comfortable stay. Was only there for one night but was more than we expected for the price we paid in comparison with other chain hotels. Liked the idea of self check in/out. There were no staff so can't comment on that. Didn't check out the kitchen so can't comment on that either.

You may find the walls a bit thin ;-) ;-) Phone reception for food delivery was poor. Not sure if us or them. If being really picky the rooms could be a tad larger. The wardrobe was tiny but ample considering it was an overnight stay. A bigger mirror would've been nice in the room but like i say I'm being super picky.

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds and the room was comfortable too.. tea and coffee provided plus the use of a small kitchen completely stocked with breakfast for guests to enjoy. On the day or arrival we were WhatsApped with full details to access the property and our room as staff are NOT on site. Some may not like this but it was all so well organised IMHO, not a problem and they could be contacted in the event of a problem or a query. I did contact them as found a broken fitting and there was an instant reply. An arrangement is there with the pub 50 yards down the road to use their parking over night as the car parking was a little challenging and not enough spaces for all the rooms if all rooms have a car.

Nothing didn't like... And if there was wouldn't moan about it here...

The bedroom was lovely; clean, tidy, smelt nice and had lots of extra little amenities such as water, tea bags, biscuits etc which all add a little extra touch. Also loved the modern and sleek feel to the bedroom, which gave it and all-round comfortable and relaxing feel. Some more additions -> Great to have parking, the initial text I was sent with all the details was informative and useful, the kitchen was brilliant with lots of options for food and to store your own, the bed was comfy and the option to easily alter the radiators for temperature control in the room was also nice.

Nothing I really disliked: Small picky things would be the door code box on my room had a couple of sticky keys, made it a little difficult to tell if they worked when I pressed them, the parking round the back was a little difficult to navigate out of, and the bathroom had a funny smell when I initial ran the tap but nothing major, and nothing that really impacted the quality of my stay.

The hotel was easy to access with the key codes, parking wasn’t a problem. Although the car parks did get full. Room was lovely and clean, we had a room overlooking the main road, which was a little noisy, but this did not spoil our stay. The downstairs kitchen was spotless with plenty of choice for breakfast. The only slight negative was that there was no chair in our room, I had to sit on the floor to do my hair and make up, in front of the full length mirror. We would book to stay again.

Very thoughtful owners. There is a well equipped kitchen where guests can cook their own food and sit at a table. Milk, juice and breakfast foods are provided within the very reasonable price. Beds are comfortable. Shower superb. A great find. A short way along the road there’s an alleyway that leads directly to the high street, where you’ll find some lovely restaurants and a pub, late night groceries and a Post Office.

Would have liked to have had more ventilation in the room (4) but unfortunately the sash window doesn’t open. This is really a minor gripe though.

Great location and everything was clean in the room

Nothing wrong as such but with the shared kitchen and lack of human welcome, I felt like I was in shared student accommodation rather than being in a hotel. The kitchen cupboards have food stored by “long term guests”, opened packets of rice or pasta and basically what I used to have in my cupboards as a student, so it really does feel like shared accommodation rather than a hotel.

The room was spacious, and comfortable (room 9). The property was in a great location, close to eateries and to Donington Park.

Parking is limited. The first night we returned home late and there were no spaces so had to find somewhere to park away from the hotel. There are double yellow lines everywhere but we managed to find a space to park a couple minutes walk from hotel on a hill. Second night we were able to park.

Large comfortable bed. Good location for our visit - we were going to an event at Donington Park race track. Kitchen well stocked.

Some maintenance required - shower needs reattaching to the wall. Kitchen door doesnt lock - keypad broke.This hasn't been picked up by staff. No staff around on visit. Its codes for rooms which are text/emailed to you on the day of arrival. There was a particularly loud couple on the first night of our stay. They were drunk and it was 4am. They were shouting and laughing. There was no staff around to sort this.

Very wide provision of stuff with both butter and marg. for a self prep breakfast Plenty of tea and coffee. Nice little area to eat it too. Some guests don't clean up after themselves too well, only a small issue though.

Couldn't get the coffee machine to produce anything other than hot frothy milk (to which we added instant). Why do hotel double rooms only have one seat and one bedside table. Plenty of room to double those up.

The ease of check in and the continental breakfast available 24h. Was perfect as we had to leave at 3am for our flight so meant we still had option of breakfast with the self serve.

Window was extremely difficult to open and with the hot weather, it meant room was very warm. There was a fan available on top of the wardrobe but we had to clean it first as it was covered in dust.
