I have stayed with Campanile before, Friendly staff asked me if I preferred a quiet room away from stairs etc and was unexpectedly upgraded on arrival. Comfy double bed. Nice clean bathroom. Attentive but discreet room service including disposing of your recycling. The breakfast was fabulous (I am vegan and had cooked, cereal and continental options). I also dined in the hotel bar and can recommend the daal to anyone - tasty and comes with naan, mini popadom, rice and lovely bhajis. Restaurant acts as a relaxing bar lounge with seating/tables in an outside garden. The hotel is not too far from the main centre of Milton Keynes and local buses run directly into the main town from more or less just outside the hotel (number 100). I found the location great for commuting and you are not too far from the MK Dons stadium. It's also a pretty straight route to the National Bowl but will still take an hour on foot (No buses on a Sunday and taxis are likely to take advantage on event days). Fenny Stratford does have a few of its own shops including a couple of pubs and what I am told is the 'only nightclub in Milton Keynes' though I didn't visit personally. There are trains into Bletchley from Fenny Stratford branchline station but you can walk it to Bletchley in about 15 mins, Bletchley has its own offering of shops and cafes including Wetherspoons, Wilko, Costa Coffee and a few other High Street names as well as a host of independent stores. All in all there is plenty to do at the hotel and in the area and I enjoyed my time. Overall, room price was superb value.

There is no air con in the rooms but after initial surprise and opening the window, I had four comfortable night's sleep. I was only woken by a little traffic Monday morning. A couple of fixtures in the room were showing slight signs of age/wear - This didn't bother me, but may put others off. The doors are heavy-closing, but staff seem aware so ask for a quiet room! I stayed at a weekend and only heard one or two people come and go but it really didn't spoil my overall enjoyment of my stay.

Bed was comfortable, heater powerful, it is very basic but clean & the young lady on reception was very welcoming & gave me a room very close to reception as requested. Very hot water (although bath not built for anyone over 5ft ) Must add I've never stayed in a hotel that has had gluten free cereal available at breakfast (very impressed) however I couldn't have any as no soya milk but the thought was nice.

No rubber mat in the bathroom (pretty sure this is a standard health & safety regulation) or handrail. Only 1 bath towel, no hand towel.

the staff are great and the best part of staying there, met expectations as far as style of hotel is concerned good cheap basic facilities, we were going to be out all day and only using it to sleep and eat anyway, we were not looking for luxury

it is opposite a nightclub and unfortunately a number of people both across the road and those that were visiting the club and staying at the hotel did make a lot of noise in the early hours in rooms and corridors playing music and talking loudly/shouting from about 2 or 3 till 5 or 6 the club is only open thu-sun to be fair i only heard it sunday night and my wife saturday and sunday, maybe just the crowd that was there that weekend

Well, we stayed there for 5 nights it was very clean 👌 and the room cleaning was in every day 👌 we allways hade fresh cup's and tea, Coffee and at the check in they kindly asked me if we like it quite 😀 because out the front it would be noisy because of the club that's there so they gave us a room at the back and we never heard a thing 😉 So for us we will be defenutly back

Nothing all was fine 🙂

The breakfast was great and the staff very helpful and friendly The room was basic and clean with Tea and coffee,, perfect for overnight stays when touring around Milton Keynes.

Some residents were very noisy in the corridors in the early hours which is not a fault of the Hotel but maybe a notice up asking residents to respect others at night

Given the price I paid, I got a good-sized room, that was quiet, comfortable, had a good shower, reasonable WiFi, a good breakfast, tea/coffee making, and free parking in a convenient location. That's PERFECT for a Bed and Breakfast. Yes, the Campanile could do with a refresh, and other hotels might have better beds, bigger baths, a minibar or a trouser press, but I didn't pay the prices that those charge. Oh and the staff were friendly and helpful, and cooked your breakfast to your order.

All was good for the money I paid

Stayed here whilst attending Reggaeland festival.. room was basic but has everything you need. The bar area was nice, we didn’t stay for breakfast though. The best thing about this hotel was Tish! An absolute credit to the hotel, nothing was too much for him, especially when several other groups of guests came back from the festival too. We will be back next year!

Good Breakfast , no noise issues room clean,

Requested two room together, did not even end up on the same floor. One of our room was mis allocated, we walked into a room that was already occupied, fortunately the guests were not present as this could have be interesting. This is the second time in two visits this has happened, last time on returning to our room somebody was already in it both they and ourselves were not best pleased.

The lady on checking was excellent, the price good, the room quiet and location perfect to get to Leighton Buzzard for work. Breakfast good and nice takeaways locally better than expected. Tv in the room a little disappointing and also the quality of Wi-Fi. I would come back when the club over the road is shut.

Wi-Fi and tv. Probably also an extra towel.

The room was clean, the beds were comfy and my friend and I both had enough space to move around each other. It suited our needs of having a place to sleep while in Milton Keynes for a concert very well. The staff at the desk were lovely when we checked in, even though it was quite late.

Only small complaint is that there wasn’t a lift, at least not one my friend and I could see. Luckily I only had a light suitcase and was only on the second floor, but I can imagine if you have a decent amount of luggage this could be an issue but I understand that not every hotel can have a lift so overall no other complaints.
