We loved our stay. Les, Sue and Ryan made us feel welcomed and at home immediately; each of them was so kind and friendly and helpful. We were surprised by a very gracious and thoughtful upgrade to a super spacious family suite that had separate bedrooms which enabled us to spread out and relax. The separate living area was cozy and a nice place for our early riser to sit without waking up the rest of the family. We enjoyed a couple of long walks along the beach (easily accessible via a 2-3 minute walk down a path from the garden). We also enjoyed having drinks and take-out pizza in the library, a beautifully decorated space with a fire and big chairs. Breakfast was also lovely, plenty of different offerings, fresh eggs and good coffee.
Nothing, except I wish we could have stayed longer than one night.

Last minute booking, which was lucky for us! Sadly not the best weather, but the view and location is stunning, virtually on the beach. Hosts were very welcoming The property is amazing and well kept. Rooms have been beautifully renovated with traditional style modern fittings, offering quirky, quality and comfort. We sat in the lounge bar all evening, as the weather was wet, we'd had lunch before we arrived and we were happy to relax with our Sundays papers and a few drinks from the bar. The hosts lit the log fire although we were warm it was a lovely touch on a damp day. Breakfast was a buffet and offered an English breakfast or cereals with tea and toast.
Disappointed not to have cups and teabags in the room, but there was a machine on the landing so we could help ourselves. A minor suggestion, rather than criticism but while it is great to see toiletries, if guests can't bring your own, perhaps a more sustainable bottle, rather than several little plastic ones would tick another box for me ✅ As our first stop with breakfast, I was looking forward to a Scottish breakfast and porridge on offer, but it was not offered.

The location of this guesthouse is perfect with spectacular views of the sea. There is also a private path to the beach behind the guesthouse. We had a lovely room with sea views. It was very spacious, had a comfortable bed and a bathroom with separate bath and shower. They operate an honesty bar which has plenty of options and you can help yourself and just mark it down to your room. The buffet breakfast offers full cooked breakfast as well as some cereal, Yogurts, fruits etc. There is lots of parking available on site also. We would highly recommend Invernaine Guesthouse to anyone wanting stay around Nairn or Inverness.

Comfortable accommodation. Nice big room, with great view. The bar / lounge is very nice and honesty bar a great idea with big choice of drinks. Log fire was on when we stayed which made it very . Staff are really nice and Ryan very keen to please especially with recommendations for dining. Overall, very comfortable accommodation and relaxing guest house.
Only possible negative was availability of fresh fruit unless in early for breakfast. Good typical Scottish breakfast, but no continental breakfast pastries like croissants, rolls etc.

Excellent studio apartment. Fully equipped with 2 ring hob, combined microwave oven, large fridge freezer, all the cooking utensils crockery cutlery and glass ware provided. Super king bed tv wifi and a beautiful private patio and private entrance. Along with fabulous gardens to sit in and direct access to beach. Breakfast is included which was lovely and the breakfast room is beautiful with sea views. My husband did not want to come up for breakfast and our wonderful host offered to take a plate down to him. The service and friendliness of the hosts was superb.
Nothing.

Thank you for a relaxing stay!! Beautiful old inn. Innkeepers were conscientious and thoughtful. Lovely people. Our room was very clean and quiet. Invernairne is a 10 minute walk to town. But our favorite way to get to local restaurants, or just the best, most scenic walk, was the promenade along the water. Most enjoyable!!!! Dinner recommendations were available. We ate at the Bandstand. It was a terrific local pub with great fish and chips and lager. Invernairne also has its own fantastic pub. We still be back!! Thank you!!!!

Spacious room with fabulous sea view in amazing location. We loved the whirlpool bath and four poster bed. The bar, dining room and garden were all beautiful. Short walk to the beach through the garden. Great pizza delivery service for dinner.
We would have preferred tea making facilities in the room rather than the machine in the corridor. Bathrobes would have been appreciated for going out to the corridor to make drinks. Breakfast was very adequate but not outstanding. Fresh fruit or pastries and better quality jams would be nice.

The Inn was fabulous. We were told it was built in the 1800's, as a guest house for the rich and royals to come enjoy the beautiful beaches of the Moray Firth. I felt like a royal while staying here. It was a great location to do excursions near Inverness and Speyside Whiskey trail. They prepared a wonderful breakfast in a beautiful dining room. The staff was extremely helpful in helping us find places for dinner and shopping. The room was beautiful, with a very modern bathroom. It has a cute garden path that takes you to the beach and boardwalk.

On arrival we got a great welcome from Michelle who explained to us that due to a guest taking ill we couldnt get the room we had booked. However we were given a choice of two rooms and we chose Black Isle. This was ideal for us having two rooms and an adjoining bathroom. The view out the back of the hotel was stunning in the glorious weather we had. The room and the hotel in general was nicely furnished and clean. There is ample parking and the hotel gardens are nicely kept. Unfortunately we didnt have time for a game of putting - hopefully next time. Breakfast was good, with plenty choice.
The room we had was great apart from the ommission of in-room Tea/Coffee making facilities, though there is a vending machine on the 1st floor. There was only scrambled eggs available at breakfast which, by the time we arrived, were a bit solid.

Small room, but perfect for a single traveller. Was clean and tidy and comfortable, just about everything for a single traveller. Breakfast was lovely, staff were lovely, friendly, professional and approachable. I would be more than happy to stay here again.
Single room, perfect for a single traveller. However there was quite a lot of noise from the group staying opposite. As a single traveller tea and coffee facilities in the room would have been more convenient, as it was I had to go downstairs to a communal coffee machine.
