We were welcomed in to the hotel by a member of staff who explained the hotel layout and gave us information to our stay. We asked about dinner in the restaurant and wheat/gluten free options . The cook and staff were fantastic help during dinner and breakfast as to wheat and gluten free options. Thank you We were shown to our room and the staff answered all our questions. The room was very clean and cozy (it was winter), heating was fantastic. The bed we found very comfortable and large. We would definitely stay here again and would look forward to a visit to the restaurant.

We were very happy, again fantastic staff and cook.

Great location. Comfy bed. It was great to see a list of contacts for emergency’s. As a loan traveller I feel it’s important to have these details as security.

The walls are quite thin and could hear everything in the next 2 rooms. Lots of snoring going on so others were getting a good sleep. Saying that I would stay again as the bed was comfy. Would take ear plugs. For some it may not effect them and not much they could do now anyway.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted and treated to the best friendly service I've ever experienced. Our room ,along with the decor and fittings, were clean, spacious, and well equipped.. All staff were attentive to our needs and were just lovely. Our evening meal was delicious and the portion size was great. I'd definitely endorse The 1645 Inn to any traveller.

Nothing at all.

Nice easy parking, pub on site for dinner, friendly staff, the room was comfortable for one night

Not sure if we booked one of the very basic rooms but it was quite small and needed updating. We had to put a blanket on the mattress to make it more comfortable. The bathroom needs updating the most. Our very old shower handle had completely seized, lucky my husband is a handy man and was able to fix it. The shower was an underpowered trickle of water. Probably wouldn’t rebook for the price.

We loved our stay here. All staff members were fantasticly helpful and extremely good company. The food was excellent and both dinner and breakfast. We were takign part in the Coast to Coast Challenge and this was a perfect place to stay before and after the event. A lovely hotel in a beautiful part of Scotland.

There was a warm welcome after a long journey The room was comfortable There was plenty of parking I ate in the bistro for my evening meal and the food was fantastic.

The hot water pressure took a little time to get going in the morning. I needed to check out early but there was no one around at reception and no one came when I rang the bell. No one answered the out of hours mobile.

The hotel had been freshly decorated throughout and everything was very clean. All staff were friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was superb and cooked exactly to our request. My only comment would be that the bed was rather small and creaked when you sat up to get out of it. A better mattress would resolve this.

Although the water was hot, the shower pressure was virtually zero meaning it took a long time when trying to wash hair in the morning. Walls between bedrooms were rather thin!!

We both had the smaller breakfast option but nevertheless it was ample, tasty and well cooked with a lot of choice of five components available.

Occasionally we had to wait to be seen at reception and the cost of the taxi ride to Inverness airport when we left was more than expected.

It was clean, food was excellent and staff went out of their way to be helpful.

The only thing I could complain about it was cold. The staff were very helpful and helped to resolve the issue promptly.

It’s all one one level - excellent as I have mobility problems and stairs are difficult. Exceptionally clean and freshly decorated. The staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful and kind. i will return one day.

If I was nitpicking, the bathroom in my room was let down by the door that was difficult to get around in order to close it. I’d suggest bifold doors to get around the problem. (I’m not sylphlike and not tall, so it may be my problem.)
