Everyone from reception, dining, room attendants to spa team were absolutely amazing, friendly and courteous. The staff at the hotel really made our stay. We also had a great massage and spa treatment with Necy! The pool and spa facilities were also great. For the price we paid for 4 nights B&B it was excellent value. Plus the surrounding areas had lots of activities for toddlers. Just an overall fantastic stay with hardworking and friendly team of staff that made our stay 5*.

We unfortunately we didn’t like that the rooms didn’t have a fridge which is vital for families and my elderly parents needed a fridge for their medication. Also we didn’t really enjoy our evening meal nothing to do with the staff there as everyone was so friendly but the food was lacking flavour and my burger was really soggy. The set menu could do with having more options and not just the usual fish and chips and burgers as not everyone likes to eat chips. So unfortunately we only visited one night during the 2 half board days I had booked.

3 night stay. Excellent location and there’s plenty of free parking. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel public areas were clean and welcoming. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We were able to get a good night’s sleep. The bathroom was large and looked quite new. Restaurant was very good. Breakfast was buffet style, standard options. You can ask for fried or poached eggs and they’re cooked fresh, which is a nice touch as they don’t keep well under the buffet lights. Bacon and sausages were decent quality, not the cheap ones often used in buffets. We had dinner in the restaurant on our first night (planned to eat out the other days). Small but varied menu. Average prices. Food quality was good. We had the cheese burgers and they were really lovely. I used the swimming pool and spa. The whole facility felt modern, well maintained and was very clean. The staff member on reception was friendly and helpful. The pool is a decent size for swimming lengths and I thought the water temperature was about right. It’s all one depth, which is perfect for the less confident swimmer. Spa facilities are limited to a sauna, steam room, cold shower and spa pool. There are treatments available but they looked quite expensive so I didn’t book anything. Overall, a great find and we’d stay there again if we’re in the area.

The lift is out of order, but we were only on the first floor, so that wasn’t really a problem for us. Reception staff offered to carry our bags upstairs when we arrived. On leaving, our lovely cleaning lady virtually insisted on carrying them down for us, which really did turn the negative into a positive. In our room (101), some wallpaper above the radiator was peeling, but really that’s a small thing. The spa jacuzzi pool could be a bit warmer.

The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was enjoyable and enough to eat, and the swimming pool was lovely extra to have. We had an issue with our shower on the first morning which meant we had to move rooms but the staff were very helpful until it was all sorted. Noemi the Housekeeper was very attentive to our needs and helpful.

There wasn't much we didn't like but i was disappointed that there wasn't any high fibre wheat cereals available e.g. Weetabix or Bran Flakes. A cold water dispenser would have been very welcome in the foyer for topping up water bottles - saves buying more and more plastic! Unfortunate that our shower wasn't working properly so it was a bit of an upheaval to have to move rooms on our first day, but as I said earlier, the staff were very helpful in sorting it out

The hotel was in a beautiful location, but not to far if you wanted to go anywheres. it was clean and the food was lovely. we received an upgraded room which was very spacious.

The room only had the facilities to make one cup of tea per person and only one pack of 3 biscuits. I like a cuppa before bed and one when I wake up, so this was a small issue for us. The bathroom was only equipped for one person even though there were 2 of us and we had to hunt for a second lot of towels. lastly we were upgraded to a room that was next to an exit and the banging of the door when closing made the room shake and could wake the dead.

Breakfast ok but more fruit required to have as a bowlful as well as choice of cereal (something like canned fruit in its juice) Dinner needed more choice when staying for 4 nights half board for sure

Non working lift but was getting seen to that week as we left apparently. Pool area needs spruce up flaking ceiling paint as well as pealing window covers. General male toilets in reception restaurant corridor not to 4 star standard. Grounds need some TLC. Other 4 star accomodation supply robes and slippers. Your marketing branding team really need to get web site sorted for this hotel as current one does not do it justice. Only deeper investigation encouraged me to visit.

Both the hotel and the health club facilities were excellent. Very welcoming reception staff, the room was really big and with a very comfortable king-size bed, sitting area, the shower had amazing pressure, lots of storage, fridge, hairdryer. Everything we needed and more. The health club was not very busy which was great to move between sauna, jacuzzi and pool with no issues. The restaurant faces a beautiful vertical garden with a water feature and felt so relaxing too. The breakfast was quite nice, with both hot and cold items to choose from. Plenty of parking spaces too. Very quiet location, which was another plus.

The restaurant was a bit short staffed, so the employees were trying their best but dinner took very long. The personnel apologised as they were aware, but kept on trying hard with a smile. Big kudos for the attitude.

Room was fantastic (rm19). Comfy bed, unbelievable shower. Already booked for next year.

Could do with welcome booklet. Detailing how to use certain items in the room. They really need to supply a summer weight duvet. I enquired and they supplied a sheet and blanket, which was a perfect alternative. Not everyone is staying for a break, some of us are working. I was unable to have a breakfast because I needed to leave by 7am. I understand they maybe not be able to open earlier, but they could supply a grab and go basket of wrapped croissants or something and pay the reception staff.

Plenty of parking and a spacious, welcoming, modern entrance area. Check in was smooth. Our room was surprisingly spacious. Two sizeable tv’s. One in the seating area and one in front of the bed. Good storage space for clothes and bench for unpacking luggage. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was modern and spacious. Powerful shower. Breakfast was delicious. Good variety of hot and cold options. The leisure facilities were great. Swimming pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi. All of these and the changing rooms were spacious & clean. The addition of brownies with congratulations written was a lovely touch as it was our anniversary.

The extra pillows were hairy. But swapped very efficiently. The advice on accessing spa facilities after checking out went clear. We went through the hotel but weren’t told you needed a hotel card to get in.

The pool and spa facilities were really lovely - they provided towels and had set times for children. The food in the evening at the hotel restaurant was exceptional. The staff were helpful and friendly. The bedrooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The bar area was comfortable and there was a good range of drinks available.

The hotel is a little short staffed which affected some aspects of our stay. The changing facilities in the spa area had very slippery floors and were a little cold. It would have been nice to have some outside areas of seating. The coffee machine at breakfast needs improvement.

The staff were all so friendly and check in went really smoothly. The room was spacious and had all the things I needed. Access to the pool and gym was so great, very well maintained and relaxing. Big tv aswell which was great. The breakfast room was very relaxed and the waterfalls at the back were a lovely touch

It was very very hot in the room which made it hard to sleep but they did provide a fan and it got cooler as the night went on. I found it a tiny bit hard to find my way around, it was a bit like a maze but it was well sign posted. The shower pressure was great but almost too good, I felt like I was a car getting jet washed! The breakfast was mediocre, not bad but not great. I would have liked it if there was a swimming costume dryer in the changing rooms, I had to use the bin bag to transport my swimming costume home.
