The staff were really helpful when I arrived they helped me with a problem I had he didn’t need to. The guy was called Vincent and he was excellent which gave a really good impression and the breakfast stuff. Also managed to find some mushrooms to cook for me, which was even though they weren’t on the menu.

I really think it is unfair that they charge hotel guests for parking. It is not in the middle of the city. It’s on the A34 with no nearby towns. I can’t see who else might park there. If they’re going to charge. They need to add that onto the price that you pay when you book So that the person searching for hotel rooms can see the true price

A good size room with a comfortable bed. We enjoyed a bar meal on our arrival which was good value for money. A good breakfast with many choices.

The room lighting was not too good which made the room rather dark. The light switches were some way from the door, which meant having to enter a darkened room with only the corridor light to assist in finding the light switch. I also reported the fact that the left hand side bedside light went out when sitting or laying on the bed indicating a trapped or damaged cable under the bed. As this was only discovered late in the evening we coped without the light during the night. The wall covering was torn on one wall and on another wall was peeling away. Although well equipped it was plain that a refurbishment is really needed.

Lovely modern reception/ lounge & restaurant area. Reception was a lovely space, good sofas to chat & bar available in reception for a drink. Suspect this area all modernised as a priority over the rooms. Good sized rooms but slightly tired & in need of update at some point. Particularly liked the availability of a swimming pool, made our stop over feel like a real holiday! All facilities were working; pool, sauna, steam room & jacuzzi. Changing room with clothes spinner.

Nothing was bad but things needed an update; tiles with holes that had been filled in as appliances had been updated. Carpets dated. Fold out sofa bed not that comfortable, felt very 'springy'. Poor shower presssure in the pool changing rooms but was still extremely happy to have a pool at all for the price.

The property was a good layout and location

The room I had was very cold, and when I complained to reception, the English guy on reception adjusted something and was then a little sarcastic, which I didn’t appreciate. The good thing was that the lady who ran the bar was simply the best at her job, very helpful and friendly, and polite, which you would expect(Andrea).

Our requests were all met, & the dinner we had (as a family) was excellent, with excellent service from the team. Breakfast was good, but a tad limited - no mushrooms!! Had to wait if you wanted eggs other than scrambled - staff were usually serving others in the restaurant.

Over the few years we have stayed here, we notice that the hotel is becoming a tad battered & in need of upgrading; it's still well run & a nice place to stay, but very tired. It is still - just - a nice place to stay.

The room was a good size and beds were comfortable. The swimming pool is lovely. Breakfast is also good with lots of options. Lovely touch being given warm cookies on arrival. We have stayed here before and will stay again.

Parking charges, its a shame that the hotel charge residents for parking. The charge was wavered on our previous stay. I specifically asked what time the pool was open until when we checked in and told 8pm. When we went to the pool the staff member in the fitness center announced that he was closing the pool at 7:30pm. This was disappointing. Upon check in I wasn't told what time check out was and what tie breakfast was served until. I tried to call from the phone in our room but the phone didn't work. I had to ring the hotel from my mobile for this information and again to order room service. One of the bedside lights didn't work which wasn't ideal with two children in the room.

Fabulous Location for us as we were attending a family event near Swindon on Sunday. Spotlessly clean Reception,Bar,Dinning Area and Leisure facilities and Our Room. Extremely comfortable bed and Very Thoughtful extras in Room. Loved the Pool & Spa facilities. EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY- WILL STAY HERE AGAIN FOR SURE.

Sadly we were Disappointed by the Food, we ate in the Restaurant in the Evening, Menu looked promising but food was distinctly Average and Lacklustre. Breakfast whilst a Good offering Quality was lacking, The scrambled Egg was revolting and the Greek yogurt was thin and pourable. A Premier Inn breakfast is cheaper but Quality is far superior.

Comfy rooms with easy access. Good food and menu. Clean and modern en suite. Reasonably priced bar with good selection. Swimming pool and leisure facilities excellent.

£15 for breakfast was a bit OTT, also at checkout they were asking for extra £21 per room, although we had paid for all 3 rooms through here, so make sure to keep voucher. Taxi or car required to go anywhere from hotel.

We arrived as scheduled at around 10pm on Sunday night. The lady on the Check-in Reception was efficient and very welcoming. We were able to get a drink at the bar too and served by friendly staff. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a choice of eggs cooked to order. It was Monday morning - so relatively quiet. The ample staff on duty were very cheerful and helpful.

This was just a one night stay, so nothing as such not to like on this occasion.

Friendly and helpful staff. Good choice for breakfast, food was fresh, well presented and plentiful. Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable The swimming pool, sauna, steam room etc were clean and well maintained. I loved the outdoor space and the midday check out - both of which made for a leisurely and relaxing stay

Food which was available for evening meal was a little too expensive, I drove to the local Waitrose to buy something to eat
