The value for money was brilliant. The room had everything we needed and although we didn’t use the bar and live entertainment I was surprised the hotel had it given the price we paid. Staff were excellent and gave our dog a treat on arrival. Bed was super comfy and the location was spot on. Only a short walk right into the town centre.
Maybe the room could have been a little bit cleaner but given this was a dog friendly room I cannot complain.

Very convenient, room was spacious, hot showers and heating that was great for wet towels after getting back from the surf lessons and the ladies at the reception Marissa and Caroline were just the best ( genuinely nice people, very welcoming, very helpful, they checked out the bus timetable for us to head back to the airport, recommended where we can go and eat, they were just lovely, always saying Hi with a smile when entering the hotel and they have always wished us a good day and also asked us how our day was ) I would definitely go back and recommend to others especially for the service we received that made our stay in Newquay just GREAT. The gentleman that was at the reception at night who we only got to see once was friendly too and very polite.
We were happy with everything.

Staff was good and gave me sea view room without extra charges as there must have been unbooked room during our stay
I didn't like the fact when one old reception lady denied us to warm our food up in a microwave when all other staff did help us with warming food up. Parking is pre-reserved only at £10 a day, so anyone staying here must book their parking by calling them otherwise there's very limited parking available. We had to wait one day to get our parking as there were none available when we checked in. Windows need cleaning from outside as they were very dirty and couldn't take a good picture of the sea view from the room!

We loved the view, the spot was absolutely insane and the sea view was incredible. The staff were fabulous, the woman with the short blonde bob who checked us in and saw us off is absolutely fantastic. Genuinely lovely person. The gentleman who did the night shifts were so lovely and helpful too. Breakfast staff were amazing, the woman with the short hair and glasses couldn’t do enough. The breakfast was so tasty and very well presented. Being someone who likes things clean, it was spotless everywhere. Honestly the staff were beyond amazing, the perfect getaway!
We would have preferred the bar to be open and maybe some entertainment but this cannot be helped-they have been taken over by a big company and don’t have a license yet. We can see that some money needs to be spent in areas-the bathrooms are slightly dated and when having a shower the water didn’t run at all consistent temperature (very hot then very cold). Overall there is maintenance that needs to be done but that’s just wear and tear!

I loved the location which was just opposite the beach and a short walk into the centre. I was upgraded free of charge to a room with a sea view which was much appreciated. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
I chose a hotel with a bar so I could sit and have a drink rather than go to a pub but unfortunately the bar wasn’t licensed . The buffet breakfast all you can was £12 but on the morning I ate there, there was no buffet. Instead a waitress took my order. The coffee was in a thermos flask and stewed. 2 bowls of tinned fruit . The pastries were tiny but nice. The breakfast consisted of one sausage, one rather of bacon, a hash brown a tinned tomato , scrambled egg and some baked beans. It was hot and tasty but for £ 12 it was a bit pricey!

The hotel was quiet. It had tea, coffee, kettle, TV, shower, and bath accessories. The beds were comfortable, and there were two pillows on each bed, which were different "thickness." Those who like flat pillows could have that option, and those who like them fatter could have that option (definitely a plus when traveling with picky children). Breakfast was superb. You could have a full English breakfast, yogurt, toast, or cereal. Or if you're like me, a bit of everything. The location is excellent. Right across from the beach, close to the zoo, mini golf, station, and the centre of town with pubs, shops, arcades, etc. Finally, the staff were great. The lady at the reception was very friendly. She always asked how our day was and helped with any questions and requests. The ladies at breakfast were also very attentive and friendly.
Although our triple room was great, my dad was in a single room where the heater didn't work. He probably could get it fixed if he asked, hut he didn't bother. Also, it would be nice to have a bar or something downstairs. There is one, but it wasn't working because there wasn't a license yet. It's not a huge problem because there are pubs across the road, but it still would be nice to know in advance.

The staff at the Beresford are very good. Not only are they very helpful and polite, but the overnight porter Archie came to my rescue when my taxi didn't turn up! I was having to catch a flight at Newquay airport, and kept ringing the taxi to no avail. Archie got on the phone for me and persuaded a local taxi driver to ask someone he was taking to the airport if he minded sharing his taxi. Fortunately, he consented and I got to the airport on time! Thanks to Archie for helping me catch my flight.

It was an excellent location right on the seafront. we had a Seaview room which was large spacious clean and comfortable. We were able to get parking at the property. we travelled with a dog and the staff in the hotel made a fuss of him and was very welcome and welcoming to us.
Quietest hotel I have ever stayed in which is a good thing, but it would’ve been nice if they were a few more people around to sit in the bar and have a drink with. However, they were plenty of places to visit nearby particularly the great western pub which is lovely and does very good meals.

A really nice, clean, comfortable hotel with beautiful ocean views. It’s right next to all the beaches which are perfect for swims / walks / surfing. Tolcarne beach is a 2 minute walk, and the others are minutes away. It’s minutes from the train station, Aldi, restaurants, and about 15mins to the main bit of town. All the staff are so welcoming and friendly, with reception open 24/7 so there’s always someone to help. We definitely recommend staying here (chose the rooms with the ocean view).

lovely staff we were always greeted with a smile & asked about our day very friendly and welcoming, even ket us check in early as our room was available .great location close to beach, bars, restaurants & shops, bus form airport stops near hotel & just £2. I will definitely return to this hotel again in the future
I would have loved a sea view room but there was none available so my room was above a carpark. I was on 2nd floor I could get the lift up but for some reason the lift didn't come up if pushed from 2nd floor so had to walk down.
