The owner, Nicholas was polite, accommodating, helpful and courteous. We did not have a taxi contact from rail station and he provided the details immediately. The room was at right at the top, the cleanliness/freshness of the bed sheet, pillows, towels, toiletries, etc were much appreciated! The magnificent view outside the window was breathtaking! The breakfast was excellent with very diverse options, and Nicholas himself prepared the dishes. He gave us some very good tips on where to visit and it all worked out well for both of us. A hotel well worth visiting!

Nothing really, just the room a little small, but manageable.

The breakfast was amazing, and loved the vibe of the people who worked there. friendly, fun and helpful. Our stay was short and we were there for Boardmasters festival so didn't really get to use the place to it's full potential I guess, but a short walk to town and the beach meant we could actually go! The honesty bar was used, and the slightly out of tune piano was also fun. The breakfast room was homey and was nice to meet other guests, and in the evening it felt like we had the place to ourselves and wasn't disturbing anyone, which was surprising as it was fairly cozy (I hope we didn't actually disturb anyone!).

The room we had was VERY cosy, but for what we needed it was absolutely fine, we only had small hand luggage style suitcases, anything bigger wouldn't have been very practical. I am a very small person and so is my friend, but someone of a bigger stature might struggle in that room/bathroom.

This property is a real treasure! It is in a great location which is only a short walk into Newquay centre. The hotel itself is done up gorgeously with lovely quirky decor and lots of little extras. The staff are very friendly and extremely accommodating. The breakfast was beautiful and had a range of different options on offer such as French toast, boiled eggs and soldiers, avocado toast as-well as cereals/tea/coffee and juices etc. It was great to see a change from the usual boring fried breakfast which is the only option in most hotels. We had a great stay here and would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of a trip to Cornwall. This is defiantly a great accommodation option and something different from the usual hotel chains.

Everything was more than perfect!

Breakfast is excellent. Big choice and very good quality. The hotel has a very nice style and shows a lot of very nice details. Also the owner is super-friendly. He gives an authentic feeling of being welcome.

The room that we had was very small. But at the end we could arrange ourselves as our stay was only for 3 nights. Parking situation is also not so good in the area as we forgot to book the parking. We recommend to book the parking in advantage to make sure that the car can stay in front of the hotel.

The hotel was full of personality.Our room was very clean and very comfortable-had a lovely view and there was lots of little extras to choose from. There was a kettle for tea and coffee and a coffee machine .The bathroom had eco friendly toiletries -in paper packages. Our breakfast was delicious,served freshly cooked with lots to choose from -with also a generous selection from the buffet table.

I loved the location and how quiet was the place, very cozy and friendly

I didn't like the fact that the room was very small, no wardrobe to put our clothes properly and under the bed was a bit dusty same thing with the headboard of the bed, was full of dust. Also a piece from the shower head was broken and fell off, I would suggest to do some little changes.

Location very central to Newquay high street. Off road parking at the property was very useful. Reception from staff was excellent, room very clean and comfortable, breakfast choice and menu were excellent. Service very good and standard of cooking was very high. Presentation beyond expectation.

Attic bathroom while comfortable and fully operative was a tad narrow and small. That said, room was large and compensated for this.

My stay at The White House hotel exceeded all expectations. It is a boutique hotel with chic artsy decor which I simply loved. We were welcomed with glasses of prosecco which was a very nice touch and there were complementary chocolates in our room too. The vice-presidential suite where I stayed had a lovely view of the ocean. The room was nicely decorated, clean and spacious. The coffee machine in the room was an added bonus. Room was cleaned everyday and coffee pods and cookies were replenished too. Breakfast was excellent; there were a variety of options to choose from and the food was delicious. The breakfast area and lounge were pretty and quaint. There is an honesty bar at the lounge as well.

The bathroom door did not close properly. The mirror was a bit high in the bathroom. I wish there were heated towel rails as well.

The welcome was friendly and made us feel at ease after a long journey. The hotel was lovely, boutique in style. the bedrooms were exceptionally nice with added extras such a coffee making machine, kettle, tea, coffee etc lovely biscuits and not forgetting the jelly beans and mint tictak. In my room, I had a pair of binoculars to make full use of the sea view. Everything in the room was so fresh and clean and the bed was extremely comfy. Every area of the hotel had been decorated to a very high standard. The honesty bar was a fantastic idea and was really well stocked. Any time of day or night you could sit in the lounge/bar area and enjoy your favourite drink. The breakfast table was set out beautifully with crisp white napkins in their napkin rings, china cups and saucers even the cutest little silver container and spoon for your salt. The breakfast menu was super varied and everything anyone would need for a start to their day. The location of the hotel was just far enough away from the hustle and bustle so as not to disturb but close enough to walk to the beaches, bars and restaurants. All in all my daughters and I had the most amazing time staying at The White House Hotel and we would highly recommend a stay to those people looking to move away from the large ‘same old same’ hotel chains and look for that something a little bit different.

A beautiful,, quirky boutique hotel. The glass of prosecco on arrival was a very nice touch. Extremely clean. Comfortable bed,. Lovely view. The breakfasts we had were delicious and the breakfast service was on point. Don't expect a full English option here, you won't miss it as there is plenty of choice -omelettes, eggs Benedict, boiled egg and soldiers and so on. Quality of the food is excellent. Beautiful fluffy towels, and amenity kits in the bathroom. The hotel is very eco friendly which is always good. Oh, I nearly forgot to mention the honesty bar, an excellent idea.

The bathroom could have been bigger. It was cramped and it was not overly easy to get in and out of the shower because of the configuration of the room. We couldn't close the wardrobe door properly but this wasn't n't a game changer.
