Authentic and clean. Henny is a great ambassador. Friendly and efficient. Fabulous roll top bath! Delicious cookies! Excellent food In restaurant.

Nothing negative about the property. Thought the 20% added service charge to food bill was presumptious. No option to pick the tip you would like to leave.

The pub was a delightful surprise, perfectly capturing the authentic charm of the Cotswolds. Its beautiful interior, adorned with exquisite details, created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped, with the added luxury of bathrobes. The bathroom was a treat, featuring premium toiletries worthy of a boutique hotel. The welcoming staff and cozy pub made our stay truly special. Also, the pub was remade to the modern standards.

Maybe, just having the slippers would make it perfect. Other than that, it was great.

An excellent location right in the middle of Northleach. The Sherbourne has the qualities of an old village pub (surely it's older than 1876!) but the restaurant areas are extensive and comfortable, and there's even a private dining room for hire. Dinner was excellent, with a varied menu and good wine list with small plate choices as well as a walker's feast. The Sherbourne has three bedrooms and ours had a freestanding bath in the bedroom (Don't worry, there's a fully fitted shower room as well). Smashing big bed. Nice toiletries (we rely on these when backpacking). We also had an outside private terrace - there's an extractor there that's very noisy when it's on! Staff were delightful, informative, kind and friendly. A small problem (not for us) on check-in was dealt with kindness and with courtesy. A very enjoyable one-night stay.

I bet if The Sherbourne did breakfasts they would be epic. Our hosts told us where we could get breakfast (very important when walking) and we went next door, where they do "Brunch". God, I hate that word. it was good, though, I have to admit.

The rooms and the facilities are very nice , the food was inconsistent- one day superb, the next unsatisfactory, same with the staff- the male staff was great -the female waiters didn't really know what they're doing. Very clean, beautiful bathtub in the room, we appreciated the cookies ;)

Would avoid the stay in room no.1 - it was almost impossible to sleep because of the people above us, you could hear their every step and it sounded like they were moving furniture

The rooms were lovely, roomy and went along with the building with some nice modern features like the smart TV, nice big shower. It just had a lot going fir it fir the price around that area. The bath and bath products were great and wonderful after a long day of travelling. Although we didn't eat at the restaurant the food smelled and looked amazing and the restaurant was busy on a Tueday night which is always a great sign, next time we will be dining here. There is a small market on Wednesday so warxh where you park your car Tuesday evening, I got told off from the market man haha. All in all, an amazing stay at a great price.

Although we already knew about the no breakfast, it would add on to a great place. We went to the Wheatsheaf pub just down the road, and that was spectacular. I recommend it to all guests.

The rooms are absolutely beautiful, roomy and quiet at night (if you go to bed as the pub closes, but the music you hear coming up is not disruptive). Food is delicious! Our little dog was very welcome in both the room and the pub.

The room is quite dark by itself, especially on a rainy day, and lighting is poor. The only small window looks out onto a backyard, so if people are in the yard there is no privacy. The wooden floorboards were really sticky.

It's a lovely little pub in a very small village. The room was well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. There was a Nespresso coffee machine and nice cookies in the room. The staff was friendly, and the food was tasty, with a decent selection. I stuck to beer, but there was an extensive wine list.

There are only 3 rooms, so no breakfast service is available. However, there are a couple of cafes in the village that serve nice pastries and proper breakfast, so not really an issue.

Newly decorated large room, huge bed, crisp white bedding, roll top bath in the room, superb customer service and a lovely meal in the restaurant in the evening with excellent wine.

The room was a little gloomy (for putting on makeup) and there was no breakfast provided (but we got lovely eggs on sourdough in the cafe opposite so that was fine).

This is a lovely little inn with only three rooms but an excellent and busy restaurant. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and were really keen to receive feedback. Although we didn't use it, the clawed foot bath was a plus, as were the excellent cookies. They don't do breakfast as they are so small, but there is an excellent bakery that opens early as well as a cafe opposite from 9am.

Staff were exceptional, everyone there was friendly, kind and went out of their way to be helpful. Pub was really nice, good food and drink. Room was clean and well presented. Loved sitting by the fire enjoying a drink.

Food was a little pricey and werent many vegetarian options. Seating in the pub wasnt the most comfy, especially the church pue.
