The hosts truly stand out with their exceptional hospitality. As for the breakfast, it exceeds expectations with its extensive variety and high-quality products. The room is impeccably clean and equipped with all necessities. The complimentary daily chocolates and water bottles add a delightful touch. Regarding the location, it's a 20-minute walk from the city center. However, returning at night without a car can be challenging due to the absence of a pedestrian crossing on a high-speed road and insufficient lighting until reaching the hotel. While we were prepared for this, it's worth noting for others. Additionally, the availability of torches for borrowing is another thoughtful gesture.
There was rust on the elements of the kettle in the room.

Charming and spacious room in comfortable family home with lots of cosy touches, like animal statuettes and vintage trinket. Really comfortable bed and daybed, lots of tea and small treats provided in the room. Breakfast with MASSIVE and delicious, with plenty of options (including vegetarian) to suit any taste.
A bit challenging to park, especially if others parked crookedly. Felt awkward eating in the dining room outside of breakfast hours as the hosts lived on site and seemed a bit surprised when we asked to use it, so we weren’t sure if they were really happy with us being there - may be helpful if they could spell out rules for using common spaces when you book.

I lived every part. The room was clean, modern with a style of vintage! The host was lovely and most welcoming. Very approachable too and made the stay feel comfortable. We requested a fridge and champagne flutes and had crystal glasses which were a lush touch! If I was to visit again I would stay here. Wouldn't even ea t tk try looking elsewhere. The breakfast was divine. Hats off to the chef! A real homely vibe. Nothing was too much trouble. Best bed and breakfast I've stayed in. Highly recommend.

A very comfortable stay at this spacious and well appointed B&B just outside Bourton. The owner was welcoming and had thought of everything with the room equipped with drinks, biscuits , quality toiletries and even a welcome chocolate by the bedside. The room was spotlessly clean with a comfy bed and good ensuite bath /shower. A delicious breakfast was cooked to order and set us up perfectly for a day's exploring the local area
No complaints at all but note just that in winter a car is needed to get into Bourton as the main road is unlit.

Lovely room, sofa and all the facilities you would need. The bathroom had a big bath tub which I thoroughly enjoyed! 2 big windows bringing lots of light into the room.
Our room was next to the dining room therefore noisy early in the morning especially if you want to skip breakfast ! Black streets leading from the property into the main part of Burton on the water with zero street lights, torches were needed or it was impossible to walk out of a evening. Torches provided at the main door.

The room was small but was absolutely lovely equipped with a fan, hairdryer, television, complementary soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner in addition to a box with a wide selection of hot drinks, biscuits and even bottles of water. It made you feel comfortable and at home without needing to get up for drinks in the evening. The bed was comfortable and fresh with a good amount of lovely cushions and the room had an open, natural atmosphere with a gorgeous modern oak door - lockable for privacy and an exquisite sky light in the ensuite bathroom. The location situated us a 10-minute walk from Bourton-on-the-water, giving us space away from the hustle of tourism and surrounded by trees, donkeys, and goats. The breakfast was absolutely stunning with a large assortment of options on the breakfast menu with the offer of juices, hot drinks toasts, and much more to keep you full all day. The vegetarian full breakfast was a lovely surprise as it gave me another option alongside porridge, croissants, and cereal. Sunny Nest is honestly a hidden gem with a price that is well worth what you get, which makes it even better for people or students on a budget such as myself. Get yourself down there!!!
The only thing that may be distasteful is the noise in the evening from the nearby road during the evening. The windows can he closed to quieten it further, but it is something that can't be helped but is still very much worth the trip as you won't find better service and facilities.

One of the best breakfasts we have ever had. Homemade fresh fruit salad. Everything brought to your table. Very friendly and helpful owner. Beautifully clean and very nicely furnished throughout. Although a 20 minute walk to the village, this was pleasant and saved paying high car parking fees. Room very comfortable and appreciated the little fridge with bottled water and fresh milk which was provided daily.
For me, I found the bed a little too soft but that is personal preference.

The bedroom was clean, with a view overlooking a small yard in which you could occasionally see two donkeys and a pony. The mattress was soft and comfortable and we both slept peacefully with no unwanted noise. The ensuite bathroom is very clean and the shower was simple to use and powerful. The host, Gill, is very friendly and always was happy to answer any questions. Her morning breakfasts were very high quality and always left us ready for exploring the Cotswolds. You can park off the main road, in a small driveway big enough for 6 cars. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would happily return.
Can't think of anything.

Beautiful surroundings and clean, and beautifully presented B&B. Gill is welcoming and friendly. Fabulous breakfast. About 15 min walk to town but pleasant along the river. Bit dark walking at night but torches available from host, as are umbrellas if needed. Teas and coffees, fresh milk and bottled water provided daily. Chocolates at the side of the bed. Room cleaned daily. Definitely would recommend.

newer construction, but tastefully done, very comfortable upper room with view of horse, donkeys and goats in their pens, large breakfast room, great breakfast, well lighted
stairs up to room were steep, which may be common to this part of England since this was recent construction, but nonetheless, a bit of a struggle getting luggage to room, not to mention something of a challenge for those with disabilities
