great location- nicely appointed - good parking considering town centre location

A bit too large and lacked atmosphere- very spread out. Dubious security- could access the whole hotel without a key card

The location was great and the hotel was very modern and we enjoyed our stay.

The spa is small which wasn’t a problem until the children’s swim times. We checked in and after dropping our bags off at the room we went to the spa and from 3-6 is children’s swim times and as it was a small spa with a good amount of children in it and parents swimming, it was very hard to relax as they were very noisy. I understand that we went in children’s swim times however if we wanted to go for a quiet swim after checking in, we would have had to come back after 6 o clock which is a while to wait after checking in.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at, and I've stayed at a few. The breakfast was amazing, which is one area a lot fall down on. Most of the staff were helpful and made me welcome. There was a warm atmosphere

I went to a concert and arrived back at 10.45 which looked like hand over time. I wanted a sandwich and went to the bar area where lots of staff were hanging around. I was told the kitchen was closed and I could order room service or order at reception. At reception, I was told the kitchen was open and I should order in the bar. The person at reception was amazing when I explained and took my order. I then returned to the bar to order a drink to take up. Same large group of staff ignoring me. I asked if anyone was serving and was told we are just finishing our shift! I did get served, but what a run around

Fab central location. Great lift access from secure parking to the hotel lobby. Beautiful building inside with exposed brick and ambient lighting in the bar area. Spa and swimming facilities were amazing, also baby friendly. Room had air conditioning, toiletries and compline tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Iron and ironing board always a plus so was happy to see them

We ordered a pizza and some squid rings around 9:30pm whilst enjoying some wine in the bar. The pizza was a frozen pizza - hard crust and soggy bottom and the squid rings were like rubber, overcooked. We complained and was offered 2 glasses of wine as an apology. They dealt with the complaint well

The location is excellent central to Nottingham City, it has a nice feel as you walk in. The breakfast is fab lots of selection. We made use of the spa during our stay it has a small pool and jacuzzi with a steam room two heated seats and showers it’s small but when we went there were only 4 off us in from around 2 it started to get a bit busier at 3 ish. The staff were wonderful, they were very helpful and full of smiles.

There was a fusty smell when we walked into the room not sure if this was coming from the bathroom, the bed was very soft and sort of dipped in the middle room 509. We didn’t mention it as we were not in the room very much and only stayed one night.,

I really enjoyed the location the facilities. The overall experience. You staff are knowledgeable, approachable, helpful and have great sense of humour. I had a great workout in the gym and had a swim and steam room. Great praise to your member of staff in the Urban Escape who saved my clothes and belongings which were trapped in the locker, she was so understanding and pleasant and did it all with a smile and in good time for me to get a shower change and have one of the most delicious delightful breakfasts, which had so much variety and choice. I am impressed. If this is the standard the bar is set high. Many thanks. It added and made this a great experience. I am already planning my next trip and stay with yourselves. Absolutely awesome.

Excellent staff to greet and set us up for the weekend, wonderful room and fit for us, comfortable bed and asked for extra pillows and quilt and they had no issue bringing them to the room. Swimming pool and other spa facilities were lovely, good food, nice bar, wonderful area, and felt clean and comfy. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back for any trips to Nottingham!

Should have made people more aware that one elevator was out of order, we got trapped in the faulty, only for 20 minutes, and then a sign was put out to say it wasn't working once we got out. I'm sure this isn't going to be an ongoing issues, we just a hiccup in the stay. Otherwise, fantastic overall stay.

I was staying for an event that was ran at the hotel, the facilities are clean and spacious, the staff were really lovely (shout out to Mark who was working his first shift the day of an anime convention checking in, true trial by fire but he knocked it out the park, great customer service, whenever I needed something I made sure to find him) the space is great and the food from the bar was good value.

Being woken by drilling on the Monday was not cool. They could also do with another lift. £5 for a glass of lemonade was daylight robbery and the second tuna panini I had suddenly had cheese in it, which while was quite nice was not wanted as I'm allergic.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. On checking in, I was asked as a wheelchair user any assistance or equipment I required during our stay. I requested a bath/shower chair it was delivered to our room in about 10 minutes. Lovely rooms with a very comfortable bed. Tea and coffee facilities. My husband enjoyed using the swimming pool.

The only issue was at breakfast on Monday morning the restaurant couldn't find our booking at first. They were very flustered in finding a table for a wheelchair user, three adults.andem a child. The restaurant was busy and there were no available tables on the ground level. Just before moving a table, one became available. We decided to take this so as not.to cause.anymore hassle as I was getting embarrassed. The table was in the middle of a number of other tables and I was was unable to go the buffet as I didn't want to disturb the other diners. The breakfast was beautiful but more staff is needed to clear away plated quicker.ß

Great welcome from all the stff team. Swimming area kept clean and tidy and was inviting. The lady in the pool area was especially helpful and kind she even found something to fix a swimming costume disaster!!! Breakfast was amazing. Couldn't find a bin near the coffee and tea machines to dispose of tea bags used etc.

Our room TV didn't work. The changer possibly needed new batteries. We didn't report it as we were only stoppimng for one night.
