Really good location, right in the centre and everything was walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff where fab as well, our key cards for the room stopped working on the second day so we couldn't get up via the lift or stairs as you had to swipe it first to access (which was a nice safety feature that not just anyone could get into the hotel/rooms) staff just reset them, no problems. Always friendly and approachable!

Was a little bit noisy given the area but the window shut tightly enough that it wasn't disruptive, but this was only on Friday night, every other night was quiet

We had a lovely couple of nights at the Hotel ibis. The staff were very helpful and when we found the initial room we had been given had a persistant toilet odour, the staff gave us a new room without any quibble. The room was functional, clean and had all we needed. The breakfasts were excellent and gave a much better range than I had anticipated. The hotel is situated right opposite the Nottingham Fletcher gate carpark which we used overnight. A very conveniently placed hotel and excellent value for money.

The lift and stairs were accessed via a swipe card system which worked fine but was a bit of a faff!

The location was very central, straight forward from the train station, (if you can find the right exit); near the excellent Hockley area, art galleries, wine bars and eateries near by and a Tesco Metro next door. A young male member of staff was very kind and helpful when I arrived. My room provided everything I needed and was well designed with a capsule wardrobe and bathroom, large bed and great view from the window The air con was very welcome.

The draught beer in the bar area seemed over priced but maybe that is standard practice.

We arrived around 30-60 minutes before we were supposed to check in, we asked the person behind the desk if we could leave our bags somewhere and they actually checked us in then and there! The room was clean and fresh with a lovely view over the city. A stones throw away from a 24 hour car park and the city centre! Will definitely be staying here again when we visit!

When looking closer at the room there was what seemed to be black mould around the window. There was no plug sockets near the window which made hair styling difficult as i had to stand on the other side of the room to plug the straighteners in

Room was nice and clean. Had to stay due to our work Summer party and was in a perfect location near the Motorpoint Arena. Room was on the 5th floor but wasn't overly loud which was great.

The cooling unit wasn't great, would have preferred air-con that could be lowered when needed as was quite warm in the room but I wasn't in the room for long so wasn't too much of an issue.

The breakfast was great. Everything you need was there. Very freshly cooked, very clean and fresh fruits, assorted fresh juicy, and hot drinks. Above all the staff (female) was a star. Her service delivery was excellent. Very friendly and approachable, very polite and very hardworking. We liked her very much. The staff for the bedrooms were also great. The receptionist staff were a bit unprofessional and not too helpful, but the other staff made up for it.

The TV was absolutely appalling. We struggled to watch it every evening. I truly believe that Ibis hotel, should invest in some good quality TV:s. It is the only thing we did not like about the hotel and that is a big part for anyone staying at the hotel.

Location is really handy for visiting Nottingham centre, especially when attending an event at the arena. Staff were really helpful and the hotel was generally quiet and clean. Bonus was an excellent view from our room on the 5th floor.

The temperature of the room could not be made cool enough. We both found it very difficult to sleep as we were too warm. We also had an unexplained issue with our room key cards, which both stopped working after we went out for breakfast the morning after our stay - initially we couldn't get back into the hotel, and had to have the cards reprogrammed to get back to our room.

The hotel looks really new, very clean and welcoming. Excellent location too. The room was clean, spacious and well laid out.

Only a couple of minor issues. The tea/coffee making facilities didn't have spoons, only a tiny bin in the bathroom and no bin in the main room. Nothing major, just things you'd normally find in a hotel room. We did buy crisps at the hotel bar at an extortionate price, won't make that mistake again (there's a Tesco express right next door)

We requested a room with facilities for a disabled person. The bathroom was very well provided with rails and a seat in the shower. Shower gel etc. was in large press top dispensers. The floor warm and towels a managable size for a wheelchair user. Room 500 had a large floor to ceiling window and a peep-hole in the door at both standing a sitting level. Sound proofing excellent. The beds were of a height to enable standng or sliding into a chair. The lift was smooth and quiet and controls at a convenient level for every-ones use. We paid for breakfast, which varied a bit in content but there was always plenty.

Room 500 had the toilet cistern flow reduced by to much. Result, the flush was not efficient. It should be recognised that disabilities come in many forms and medications can have difficult to cope with side effects! A higher volume flush would be more acceptable to both room residents and domestic staff.

The hotel staff was extremely friendly. When we walked in they offered us a cold glass of water whilst they checked us into the room as it was a hot day. When we got into the room it was specious. Couldn't believe we paid £58 for it. Well technically £78 as we checked in before 12. They had aircon in the room to keep us cool and the size of the shower was huge. Bed was really comfy and the room was really clean. Plus there's a 24/7 bar which is a plus.
