The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a generous size The breakfast was great and super tasty on both occasions. The view from the restaurant was lovely.

I would have appreciated a full length mirror in the bedroom. Labels on the coffee pods would have been good too. As the order didn’t seem to match with the written list. The price for the drinks from the bar was more than what we were expecting, £18 for two drinks.

Unforgettable Experience at Promenade 17, Oban! From the very moment of our arrival, the warm welcome and outstanding hospitality made us feel right at home. The hotel boasts elegantly designed interiors that exude both style and comfort. We couldn't resist the SPAGHETTI ALLO SCOGLIO at the dining room during our three-day visit - a culinary masterpiece brimming with Langoustine, Mussels, Squid, and Clams in a tantalizing White Wine Garlic Chili Sauce. Each breakfast was a treat to start the day. The hotel staff's relentless efforts to ensure guests feel valued were apparent throughout. A visit to Oban? Beautifully restored house from a previous century, spacious room and bathroom, it's about 10 minutes with a Taxi from the train station, ferry and bus station. Both the breakfast and dinner was exceptional and the staff is friendly and very helpfull.

There's actually nothing that I did not like about the place, just a note to travelers, there's no elevator and as far as I know all the guest rooms can only be accessed via stairs.

We were delighted with the room and it exceeded our expectations with its beautiful decor and comfy bed. The whole hotel is luxurious and has great social spaces to use in the evening. We had a lovely time, and the staff were lovely, especially at reception, and helpful!

We were really disappointed with the coffee at the hotel, both at breakfast and from the machine in the room. A cafetière of coffee at breakfast would have been much preferable to a single cup, especially as we had to come earlier than we would have liked for our allocated breakfast slot with an hour change! Again a cafetière and fresh coffee in the room would have been great.

Absolutely everything . Beautifully restored and decorated this hotel is the epitome of luxury. An eclectic mix of modern and antique furniture provide a relaxed vibe and everything combines to ensure your experience here is memorable . Excellent hospitality and customer service, fabulous food and drinks selection, beautiful room, which was tastefully decorated , with lots of space, a big fat comfy bed with fine linens and a stunning view over to Kerrera. We travelled with our small dog who was warmly welcomed and designated space in the lounge allowed us to eat with her whilst non doggy diners enjoyed a dog free meal in the restaurant. No 17 The Promenade is faultless and we will return again and again . Thank you to everyone in the team there for a fabulous overnight stay .

Great views of the harbor and all the activity. The room had all the amenities and places to store everything, but was small . The staff was exceptional Cameron assisted us with many duly excursions and knew the town well. Sarah also was always helpful and they all work well together. Loved the way the hotel was decorated and accommodating.

We had a car and the parking there were very few parking spaces and what they had was very tight.

The staff were exceptional and probably the highlight of our stay. From check-in to check-out, they were attentive to all our needs, questions, and requests. The property is gorgeous, every room was comforting and the food was delicious - even accommodated for my gluten allergy. We especially loved chatting with the bartenders (Owen and Craig), but every person we interacted with treated us like dear friends.

The parking was very tight, but manageable.

My favorite hotel from our 3 week trip! Full of modern Scottish charm, amazing decor, and a fabulous location overlooking the harbor. The dinner at the restaurant is lovely, definitely eat here for incredible Italian food in the most gorgeous dining room. Absolutely loved the design of this hotel!

Downstairs bedrooms can hear people walking- it's something light sleepers should be aware of. Just request one of the upstairs room and it won't be problem.

Our room was a bit small for two tall people Also bed sizes in Scotland - all hotels have relatively small beds

We had a lovely stay at No17 the Promenade on our ‘mini-moon’, nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Particularly the lovely Australian lady who tended to our drinks in the evening (sorry we didn’t catch your name). The room was spacious but cosy and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was also fabulous! Thanks again for a lovely stay!

The only fault we could pick would be the Breakfast booking system, if you dont book in early you end up with a time that might not suit your plans. Probably less their problem than ours. Not much of a complaint more of a ‘heads up’ to future guests!
