My wife and I had an absolutely delightful stay at this charming B&B. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail were truly exceptional. The room was well appointed. Breakfast was self service with plenty of choice. The location of the B&B is ideal for exploring the local area. We found it to be the perfect base for our tours, with many attractions conveniently close by. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable getaway.

That our stay wasn’t longer

Warm welcome from owner, James, who was an excellent host. We stayed in the Green Room, which was spacious and clean. Everything was in good condition and felt cosy with a decent carpet. This room had an excellent view and was well thought out with two thicknesses of pillow and an extra blanket in the wardrobe should it be needed. The full Scottish breakfast was really rather good and the breakfast room also had a good view over the river to the hills beyond. There were birdfeeders in the garden and the communal living room was comfortable with games and an honesty bar. Nice generous parking bays right next to the entrance each with a flower box. We really enjoyed our stay here.

For food in the evening there is only the Logierait Inn within walking distance, which at the moment is only a very nice cafe with limited main meal selection, having only just reopened. This is not an issue if you have a car.

James is a fantastic host and made us feel so welcome from the get-go. He accommodated us with a late check-in following a very long drive. Our first morning my partner was shattered and didn't make it down for breakfast and James made him up a bacon roll to have later. On our last night I was at a wedding rehearsal with the car and so my partner and son were stranded - James noticed they hasn't eaten and made them up some dinner. An extremely accommodating, friendly and empathetic host. The room was huge, warm and full of everything we required. Breakfast was beautiful with gorgeous views. Our toddler particular enjoyed the basket full of board games. We had a wonderful time here and will definitely be back next time we visit Pitlochry!

Nothing!

The new owners were very friendly, pe rsonable and helpful. They obviously will get more used to their new role, as would anyone in a new job or role. The bedroom was very acceptable and breakfast was tasty and abundant. It provided a wonderful view of the river and hills beyond - see photo taken though the window! We'd recommend this place as a comfortable B&B with warm and helpful hosts.

One or two things which we are sure will be ironed out in coming weeks, as the brand new owners settle into the property. The lack of evening meal option did concern us, but there are plenty of eateries nearby, not least in Pitlochry, where we ate twice at The Bridge Restaurant and were happy.

Breakfast was excellent (despite the full Scottish being great, the porridge was even better!). James was very accommodating to our needs and small details like special cutlery (Disney) for my young daughter were greatly appreciated. The room and views (especially) were fantastic as well.

The location is great, as long as you know and are expecting quiet and scenery. If you want a very central spot with plenty of shops and pubs in walking distance this is not the place. This was not a problem for us as it’s what we were looking for but others may disagree.

What a lovely stay we had for our Easter break. Room was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed. We had a nice choice for breakfast, including a cooked breakfast and a buffet, they all satisfied our needs, especially for fueling before a hike! And I really appreciate that they provided oat milk for our coffees. Breakfast room has an amazing view!! James and Leesa are wonderful hosts, very friendly with plenty recommendations (and thank you for drying our soaked clothes after a hike and to Leesa for the home made fudge, it was delicious!) We would definitely recommend this place! 👌

The hists were amazing, so friendly and helped us to decided what to do with our time aswell as help with booking taxis when needed... felt like we were staying at a friend's place rather than a strangers... the rooms were so spacious and comfortable, shower great! And a good amount of books and puzzles for a chilled evening... location fantastic for walks and exploring the nearby areas Breakfast was fantastic!!

Only bug bare was 8am to 9am breakfast was a push at a weekend when you wanted a lie in... but was worth getting up each day to have it because it was too delicious to miss

The owners were lovely people who made breakfast fresh from a generous menu. They were very knowledgeable about the area and friendly, chatting with guests in the morning about their plans for the day. The breakfast room overlooked a lovely garden. A nice tea/coffee service was available in the room. The current owners are selling property this year so changes may occur.

If you have a fear of spiders you may want to avoid. The room was lovely but there were many inhabitants already there. Perhaps the new owners will evict them. Perhaps they’ll get new beds as well.

The property was big with spacious rooms. It was also relatively quiet even though the road was close by. Parking was easy. The location was good for the many surrounding attractions. Pitlochry is a high volume tourist hotspot and as such the food and accommodation prices are higher than other areas. It was fairly priced at Cuil An Daraich so I was also pleased about that.

I had no issues it was a good place to stay

Staff were the friendliest, most accommodating people we could ever hope to have as hosts. They were thoughtful, friendly, and gave helpful suggestions on how to make the most out of our stay at Pitlochry. The view from the breakfast room was breathtaking!!! And they also have a lovely garden if you're looking to hide away and read a book. Thanks to the lovely owners of Cul-an-Daraich, you made our stay something precious to remember!
